Luce listened patiently at the words that came out of the brunette's mouth, nodding and smiling when it is necessary. Upon seeing the stunned expression on the younger boy's face, Luce released a chuckle and said. "Well, he didn't exactly say that outright, but oh you know how he can be at times. I believe he does though, sometimes that man is quite transparent despite his effort to be otherwise."

When the soon-to-be Vongola boss began to recall his plans, Luce leaned closer by mere inches – an unconscious gesture of her interest at what the young mafia boss has to say. The boy seemed optimistic with his ideas, and maybe a bit naïve; it is still a good dream, nonetheless, a promising idea that no doubt can be achievable if Sawada Tsunayoshi doesn’t change and his strong and warm will kept intact.

And this, she utters to her younger companion. “Well, I would expect it to be hard in the beginning yes. If you said it was easy trying to do so, I would’ve called you a liar.” She laughed playfully at this, her tone light-hearted and casually joking. “I’m glad that you are able to face your uneasiness and accept the position, not many people would make the same decision as you, Tsunayoshi-kun.”

Her smile then softens, all joking and tease wiped away from her expression before she began again. “Running a mafia family is certainly hard, even more in your case since you’ll hold the strongest mafia family in the land. I do not mean to put pressure on you, Tsunayoshi-kun, but the fate of the mafia world will rest on your shoulders when the time comes.”

Her hands clasped the brunette’s shoulders sportingly before adding. “However, that time is still far ahead, there are still plenty of things you must experience before you take on the mantle of the mafia boss. There will be a fated time for all of that, if you just allow it to carry you to your destination.”

Of course she heard plenty of him from Reborn… No doubt she had told him all the bad things about him. Each trait she spoke gave him cause to hang his head lower and lower each time. Yep. Of course… Though, some of those were a bit… outdated… Though he didn’t have the courage to speak up against them. He would tell her of the most important one, but about talking to the girl he likes… He would stay silent about that. “R-right…” he murmured, eyes trailing away from the other sky boss. “Of course he’d say that…” Well. At least she knew of him…

His head lifted at the last comment, his previous expression fading into pleasant surprise. Reborn had really said that…? But wasn’t he no-good Tsuna…? He found himself smiling a bit at this comment. She wouldn’t lie to him, would she? She didn’t seem the type. Even so, hearing something like this and thinking that it possibly came from Reborn… It lifted his spirits. He gave her a fond, relaxed smile. “Alright… Thank you, Luce-san,” he spoke sincerely. He took in a deep breath and let it out. Where to begin… Well. He supposed he should clear a few things up.

He gave her a small smile. “Well… Ah… I did decide to take the title of Vongola Tenth. I’m… well on my way to becoming the boss. Ninth already gave me permission to start working on my… my plans for Vongola,” he explained. Well. Better finish up his explanation. “A year ago, I decided that I’d accept the offer to become Vongola Tenth - fully. But… I… I’m going to rebuild it, into what I want it to be. What Primo wanted it to be. It’s… been proving difficult… to say the least.”

An ebullient laughter left the sky arcobaleno's lips at Verde's last cooking as particularly drastic scene again came into play on her mind. "Indeed, it was quite a disaster. The others are even working on banning Lal from the kitchen altogether." Naturally, the rain arcobaleno was quite mad about this, thinking that they were all mocking her - it didn't end well. "In the end, I decided that Lal is to be taught by me in the cooking department, since apart from that there aren't many things I will be able to teach her."

"But enough about that." she said, toning down her voice in a gentle almost whisper that was moderately loud enough for the other person to hear as to not urge the now resting guardian awake. "I see that my little bed-time story successfully made you heavy-eyed. Would you like me to turn off the lights, Verde?"

Really, he couldn’t help but smile as she assured him. It seemed she was being honest, but to be delighted over something so small as him attending dinner… Perhaps he should come out of his room more often for his boss. He mumbled that she was too kind once more before thanking her.

"Eh?" Ah… What more could he really say? He stretched his neck as she spoke, not arguing on any of them. He was indeed tired, she wanted to take care of…well, everyone. There was no need to worry. Besides, as often as he said that flattery didn’t work on him, being called the "most hard-working guardian" was a nice touch on making him obedient. A small laugh was made at her last point. (Was this one of the first times she heard him laugh?) "That wont be necessary, but I’m not objecting."

That word made him frown. “I’m not a gossip. I don’t casually discuss other’s affairs all the time, I just… want to know whats going on with everyone lately…” Verde sighed and shook his head, waiting for Luce to continue. 

….There was a fire? A fire and no one even told him? Granted, Verde was more than used to fires, but… he shook his head. It was probably nothing. “Glad to know I’m not the only one inept at cooking…” It really was only a matter of time before he was out cold. Once crossed arms were now limp and falling to his side, mouth barely open. For once, the most hard working vulnerable was on break.

"Is that so? Then you probably should get some rest," It is unhealthy for a person to be up for long without even sleeping a wink, after all. "I missed you too, Skull. But I see you're still as lively as ever. I am glad."

"Luce! Luce!" Gives her a big bear hug.

"Skull, you’re up early." she pats him on the back, returning his hug. "You look happy today, did something happen?"

Quite contrary to the personality associated with his type of flame, Fon excluded an air so peaceful it was easy to be comfortable around him. “I’ve never been better.” She replied, her eyes sparkling in geniune pleasure as she directed their conversation into what she had in mind the moment she saw her old colleague and friend. “Why, it certainly looks like life has been treating you well. However I'm curious as to what my storm guardian has been doing lately."

A twitch of an eyebrow was the only expression of irritation the pale woman allowed to appear on her face as she looked at the chain, connected to a collar on her neck, with the other end being held by the Arcobaleno boss. Good thing she was allowed to keep her clothes for now. But, a promise was a promise, and Bermuda never went back on her word.

Luce got the purse from Reborn, and said a quick ‘Thank you’ for his efforts. Luce loved Reborn being around, the man had always been helpful to her and not to mention he was quick to attend to her every whims, far-fetched they may be. Of course, the reason for this could easily be the fact that she is his boss... technically.

She didn’t see Reborn giving the same treatment to the Ninth though, so that was out.

And although she didn’t bother to find an answer in fear of crossing lines they shouldn’t be crossing, she thinks he was spoiling her too much. “You know, you could always refuse me, Reborn.” she said. “Maybe from time to time when my demands get outrageous - unless of course, you’re okay if people thought of me as your controlling wife than your boss.” 

Good Boy/Girl

Reborn bowed stiffly to the woman. He wasn’t a submissive person by nature, so naturally he was not happy about this development. Granted he would do anything for Luce regardless, but it was a bit of a blow to his pride to be a “pet”. Well, at least it was Luce and not someone else … this shouldn’t be too bad.
