oooh ok so rylan is actually a weird one! I’ve had them for a while now but haven’t actually done anything with them? all ive known is that 1.) theyre a wizard, 2) theyre Lena’s(fantasy pirates) younger sibling, 3) theyre part of my ‘reverse trapped in another world’ story, and 4) the source of their magic is space! I recently changed them from a human to a homebrew dnd type race? idk the story theyre in is so un-fleshed out that i could do anything with them at this point

make his day better: Do you wanna stay home and hang out, today? (his anxiety is very bad, but he likes hanging out with his pals uvu)

make him laugh: uhhh anytime kathy says something kind of out there. shes very mature but also kind of tactless so she just. says stuff. sometimes stuff that doesnt fit her, if that makes sense

make his day worse: hey lets go out somewhere. (again VERY bad anxiety)

if you get upset with him for being anxious to go out it would kind of crush him :( he also doesnt like that its a whole event to just go out somewhere

when hes in a new situation he tries to take the lead usually. mostly because he doesnt like to sit around waiting and will just start things on his own. He tends to stay in charge but he doesnt force it, especially in situations where another person has the clear experience (like amon and surya in really supernatural situations)

the exception, however! is blaine! they grew up together and blaine has the same protective instinct with him that she does with her lil siblings. blaine is the boss, and shes scary, so preston doesnt argue (and after mostly taking care of himself at home, he likes having someone take care of him, though he wouldnt admit it)
