Ryota and MC were walking along the quiet hallway towards the dorms, while Ryota reflected gleefully on the past few hours.

“Today was just perfect! First the BIG breakfast at Aoyama … then the shopping spree with Krampus and Yule, then going on all the wild rides at the amusement park with Moritaka, Hanuman and Agyo - all to be topped off by the big party at our Guild! I think it was the best birthday I ever had - I really really loved it!”

They had arrived in front of the dorm. Smiling ever so brightly, he suddenly had to yawn. “Though I think the exhaustion has finally caught up to me. I can barely stand anym-, wait, why are you looking at me like that?!”

“Well … I’m sorry to hear you’re tired but … would you mind holding out a little longer, Ryouta-kun?” MC opened the door and turned on the light.

Looking inside, Ryota’s face immediately lit up with a radiant smile, a gasp escaped his lips and tears of joy welled up in the corners of his eyes.

“Happy Birthday, babe!” He whispered in Ryota’s ear and affectionately wrapped his arms around him from behind.

“I-It’s so beautiful.” Ryota stammered happily and turned to face MC. “You’ve just given the best day an even better ending. Sweetie, I love you so much! Thank you!” Ryota embraced him lovingly as their lips met in a sweet and tender kiss.

Savouring every bite of his birthday cake, Ryota revelled in every moment of blissful togetherness with his one and only, who showered him with kisses throughout the whole night.

The dawn was already breaking when they finally climbed to bed, holding each other closely under the blanket, drifting away to a peaceful sleep.
