finally got around to starting elden ring, and about 4 hours in my impressions so far can be summed up as follows:

I was afraid that I was going to like Varré and that's turned out to be tragically true. Love a weird little guy just standing in places, ominously

I also found a monkey guy cursed to be a tree and I love him

I enjoy blasting things with one of my two (2) spells but also I feel like I should've gone more physical, because idk how long range-sniping these bosses is going to work for

#my only other fromsoft game was the original demon's souls and while I did beat that #I'm still sitting here again trying to dodge more than the game will ever let me #gimme bloodborne on the pc already it seems like way more my fighting style
