actually, it looks like we didn't ! at this point, we believe the best course of action is making a new main, especially after reading about people who had to wait a week or two to hear back from support.
for that reason and after talking to our fellow members, we have decided to push back our opening date for in character interactions. we will be opening tomorrow instead. this should give everyone a bit of extra time to finish posting their intros and plotting while we focus on getting a new main up and running.

felix lee + he/him + cis male – have you seen alyxine lee around los angeles? the twenty-three year old is usually jamming to killshot by magdalena bay. word around the city is that they’re exuberant, yet, they can also be stubborn, but you didn’t hear that from me. they’re currently a student & musician and are typically seen walking the streets of los angeles with their signature platform boots. when i think of them, i think of a pile of fashion magazines by the coffee table, a hard cover notebook filled with lyrics & the steady strumming on his fender telecaster. let’s hope the city treats them good! ( jett / 23 / he/him / gmt+8 / no triggers )

levy tran + she/her + cis woman – have you seen lilianh “lee” nguyen around los angeles? the thirty-five year old is usually jamming to mr blue by catherine feeny. word around the city is that they’re introspective, yet, they can also be cynical, but you didn’t hear that from me. they’re currently a ghost writer and are typically seen walking the streets of los angeles with her copy of sophie treadwell’s “machinal”. when i think of them, i think of heartfelt prose turned into heartless lyrics, idealism flipped on its head, natalia kills ranting about “creative integrity” - you know the one. let’s hope the city treats them good! ( may / 24 / she/her / est / self-harm )

✧.* attention angelenos ! discord links have been sent out, which means that out of character interactions can now begin. make sure you’re following everyone on the follow list and please start posting your character intros using the tag #california.intro. there’s a dedicated channel where you can link the intros after making them public on your blog. per our rules, members should post an intro within 48h of their follow being posted; however, please let us know if more time is needed.
in character interactions will start tomorrow, stay tuned for our opening message on the main.

✧.* hello angelenos ! as previously mentioned, we intended to open for out of character interactions once we reached 10 - 12 writers. since we are almost there without counting the admins, we believe this is a good time to officially announce that the ooc discord will go live tomorrow, september 8th @ 5 pm est.
once you receive the link to join, you can start interacting and plotting with your fellow members. those who opt out of joining the discord server can reach out to other writers through tumblr messages. during this time, we expect members to post their character intros. we don’t require an in-depth biography, but do make sure to include the bare basic details of your character.
in character interactions will begin the following day, september 9th @ 5 pm est. we’ll make a post on the main to remind you !
