Hi folks! We’ve had a good amount of chapters since we last promo’d this server!

The Campfire is an 18+ doubles semi-friendly kin server for the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight. We accept Killers, Survivors, and everything in between, and we allow you to decide whether or not to allow doubles of your kins! (Though most of us are pretty doubles-friendly!)

Our rules are short and fairly simple, and we have a list of kintypes so you know who’s in the server and what doubles aren’t allowed!

Is this server still active?

Yes, it is! Although it's a bit quiet. And to be honest with you, because it and the whole DBD kin community are so quiet, I haven't checked the applications in a while. Oops!

I will contact everyone who has applied since December to now (with profuse apologies about the wait) with an invite! If you applied before December 1st, 2021, and you're still interested, please resubmit an application!

(And just so no one’s worried, my Discord name begins with “Mercy”!)

A small reminder of (some of) our rules:

We are an 18+ kin server only. If you are 17 and turning 18 soon, make a note of that (and how soon) in your application!

We are selectively doubles friendly. We will not accept applications for The Shape, Frank, Susie, The Blight, Dwight, Laurie, Nancy, or Vigo.

Non-DBD characters, OCs, or licensed skins (such as Lisa Garland or Chris Redfield) are fine so long as you have a DBD timeline for them.

If you’re wondering, the server isn’t dead! I know I’ve missed a couple of applications over the months. If you applied and I never got back to you, and you still want to join the server, please apply again so that I know you’re still interested! I promise I’ll get to it ASAP this time.

Hi! Does your no doubles list also include AU versions of the character, such as Survivor AU of the Shape? I figured I may ask since different places have different rules on it, so sorry if that’s still a no! ^^;

Hi! I double checked with our Michael and he says yes, that’s fine. You’re free to apply!

Edit: I didn’t actually answer the question, LOL. For cases like these I’ll leave it up to the discretion of the person who’s asked for no doubles. For example, if you’re an AU Susie we would probably still have to say no, but an AU Michael is okay.

wdym doubles semi-friendly are there scheduled weekly doubles brawls

That would be pretty funny, but it just means that you get to tell us if we allow doubles or not!

Say you’re Dwight, and your friend is Meg. You can tell us not to allow any more Dwights, whereas your friend might want an army of Megs. We would adjust our lists accordingly and not allow people who are Dwight into the server for your comfort, but we’d allow other Megs because your friend said it was okay.
