Let’s normalize being pretty and smart, successful and humble. Sexy and all about her business. Fearless and wholesome. A boss and a wife. If someone is intimidated by you; that’s their problem. Let them rise up to meet you at your level. Plus if she doesn’t scare you a little, she’s not the one.

If I'm Being Honest..
Lately, I've felt more sad and anxious than I've ever been at any other stage in my life. I think I'm at the stage in the game where I'm grieving my youth. I miss the energy and confidence that came so naturally with very little effort. Lately, it feels like everything takes so much effort - staying active, watching what I'm eating, finding joy on a daily basis. When did it all change? It's frustrating sometimes. Especially when I look at all I have to be thankful for.
I've really been trying to teach myself to be kinder and more tolerant and forgiving to MYSELF. I am finally re-learning how to set boundaries on my time and the amount of energy I spend on others- making sure I spend energy on myself to rejuvenate and "fill up my tank."
It's hard after being a Mom and a wife for so long to re-learn how to put yourself first but I'm realizing how necessary this is to enable me to effectively be there for others. It's a struggle but I'm becoming better at it day by day.

Once upon a time in Hollywood, four little women, two popes, and one Irishman walked into a bar…
This Sunday, the best of the film industry will gather to honor, well…the best of the film industry in a little known event called The Academy Awards. For the 92nd year in a row, the recipients of the tiny golden man mysteriously named Oscar are chosen by people who are not you. 92 years and not once have they asked your opinion. Outrageous.
That’s why we like to take this time of year to show off what the Oscars would look like if you had a vote.
The @fandom team analyzed a full year of celebrity-driven data, starting from January 20, 2019. Every tagged original post, reblog, search, and liked post related to the nominees were counted, weighted appropriately, and is wrapped up neatly for your leisurely (or frantic) perusal below.
Let’s get on with the cold, hard data
We look at engagement data holistically, not tied to any one property. Though Scarlett Johansson dominated the conversation overall, it’s not just because of her roles in this year’s Marriage Story or JoJo Rabbit. It’s also because she’s Black Widow, which doesn’t even come out for another three months. In case you didn’t know, you folks really do love Marvel that much. Though she received 69.02% of the engagements in the leading actress category and 55.92% in the supporting actress category, a quick look at her tag shows you have a lot to say and GIF about all these films. It’s worth noting Adam Driver also had a big year outside of Marriage Story, too. Wow, data!
Here’s how everything else broke down:
Best Supporting Actor
5. Joe Pesci, The Irishman | < 1% 4. Anthony Hopkins, The Two Popes | 4.86% 3. Tom Hanks, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood | 13.37% 2. Al Pacino, The Irishman | 21.40% 1. Brad Pitt, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood | 60.37%

“Sometimes everything hits you all at once. You lose a relationship, change jobs, old friends go and new ones come. It’s up one day and down the next. You have it all together on Monday and by Thursday you don’t have a clue. Life is one big wave and all we can do is flow, grow, and adapt.”

“Understand that breaking down is not a sign of weakness, it’s strength. Weakness is hiding emotion; strength is facing them, feeling them, and letting them run their course so you can move on.”

“Some people will like you for no reason, some people will not like you for no reason. Who you choose to spend the most time, thoughts, and efforts on, depend exactly how much you like yourself. By just staying near to people who treat you poorly, you are telling them it’s OK to do so. Only keep people close to you who treat you well.”

Resisting What Is
Whenever we resist what is, we become tense and contracted, we’re not much fun to be around. In fact, even we don’t enjoy being around ourselves. No wonder we check out and wander off into distractions - seeking entertainment, driving ourselves to achieve, resorting to drugs and alcohol, desperately striving to be some other way than we are, living fantasies of future happiness. All these forms of distraction are ways of trying to fill up the void that is left when we don’t let ourselves be.
So the first step on any path of personal or spiritual development is to become aware of how we contract and turn away from our experience. Spiritual practice involves both becoming aware of this resistance and discovering that it is all right to open ourselves to life, that we can handle it, and that we will grow and expand by doing so.

“Depression is the most unpleasant thing I have ever experienced… . It is that absence of being able to envisage that you will ever be cheerful again. The absence of hope. That very deadened feeling, which is so very different from feeling sad.”
