So, while I'm working through the obvious ones of these, of course Riko is The Tower. While The Tower exists in tarot and lenormand, they're not quite the same. In tarot the tower is generally an ominous sign of incoming disaster or sudden change. In lenormand, it's about authority and isolation. It's not inherently a bad thing. And while I use King in the description, it's rarely actually used to leaders/King, but more authority (if you want to make the distinction). It's also generally 19 in traditional decks, but since I've moved the Man/Woman/Child equivalents to all be together (as modern decks are doing more frequently) it's been bumped to 21.

Let go of perfectionism! Don't be afraid to make mistakes and to experience failure, I know it makes you feel very stressed and anxious that "what if everything is not gonna work out?" Or "what would people think?" "It's so embarrassing to make a mistake" etc. But you cannot learn if you don't make mistakes, you have to do something wrong to then learn how to do it right.

Perfectionism holds you back from so many experiences, if you can't do it perfectly then you think it's better to not do it at all cuz' perfectionism brings fear of failure, mistakes and stress. I have been there, every typo I notice makes me feel dumb but I know that I am not dumb so why should I worry. I am human not a computer that knows exactly how to word right, but even computers aren't perfect.

Letting go of things that makes you stressed and holds you back from experiencing life is freedom, you can't worry about what people will think cuz' tbh people think a lot and usually they will not even have time to notice or remember and make a fuzz about a typo or grammar mistake but if they do then it says a lot about them, then it does about you dear.

Do what makes you happy. Do what you think will help you grow. Do not fear failure, change your perception of mistakes and failures as something of a lack of your skills and intelligence to something that you have to learn. You are not all knowing and that is okay, human have so much to learn and you making a mistake doesn't define you but the way you approach a mistake does. So let go of perfectionism and it will be hard but you'll get there. Best of luck my dear, go ahead do what you want, allow yourself to make mistakes and to learn from them. So the Cross is often replace with the Albatross in modern Lenormand decks, for the sake of having less overtly religious iconography, but given religion plays a big part in Renee and presumable Aaron's lives, I figured it was pretty apt.

And honestly, I wish we talked more about Aaron and Renee. I see a lot of people talk about the obvious Renee and Neil parallels (Renee/Natalie vs Neil/Nathaniel isn't subtle) and Andrew and Renee too (the books explicitly draw attention to this one) but I've not really seen people talk about Aaron and Renee. They've both killed in perfectly justifiable circumstances but unlike Neil and Andrew, they aren't comfortable with it. They don't revel in it like Andrew especial does (and he does, whatever his motives for it actually are, he's constantly throwing it in Aaron's face) they're tormented by it, in different ways. They don't regret it, they wouldn't undo it, but that doesn't mean they like it. And while Renee find faith and support in her mother and religion, or at least attempts to, Aaron's faith and mother have only ever brought him pain (or at least one assumes his faith, or faith put upon him by his family since we don't really see much of it and how he feels about it, would now due to being forever associated with Luther and that day).

trauma fetishization is not just writing porn or love story, it's denying existence of the bad parts during healing(or forcing happy endings where they do not exist) and belief that a victim becomes better purer person as outcome of experiences they been through, it's experiencing big pleasure while consuming the misery on the page and sense of fulfilment over erasing and ignoring the ugly parts it's human's nature to want to feel things and the term trauma porn/trauma fetishization is trying to paint this desire in very negative manner the issue is ongoing and active hypocrisy of people being unable to see that their actions are very much in the same are as actions of people they harass and bully over fictional content

Riko ends up cutting his hair just so people can not recognize him all that easily anymore and it's disturbing how well that worked. Kevin is mad but understanding. Riko ends up moving in with Kevin it's a sweet gesture but to him it feels like their relationship is near expiration date that's how all Hollywood relationships work. It's probably bad idea to get attached now but he has no other choice he has no money now he enters territory of owing Kevin the money even if the other man haver mentions it.

In nest it's only classical music allowed and the raven orhestra theme.

But out of nest Riko is fascinated by any kind of music it takes him years to finally choose that he prefers power metal till then he enjoys everything especially the more fun sounds of pop punk.

Bu power metal gets him in the zine the same way raven orhestra did when he was coming out on the court.

Power metal is extremally cheezy genere but it has extremally epic sounds often times it's lyrics are centered around power epic shit historical events and powerfantazies. It gives riko outlet to indulge into his old cravings for power in a way that won't endanger anyone just .. harmless daydreaming that makes mundane daily life nicer.
