PART 2

You can fight for the rights of Palestinians, you can protest what is happening in Gaza, and ALSO fight antisemitism. You can ALSO admit that some people in your community are fucking Nazis. I am SO TIRED of caring about and fighting for the people in Gaza and yet still being treated like the enemy. I am SO TIRED of being trapped in the middle, about daring to say Israelis DON'T DESERVE TO FUCKING DIE EITHER, and being told that I "support genocide". I'm TIRED of pretending that I haven't been stressed and terrified and and fucking angry since October 7th, I'm tired of the fact that it feels like I can't even TALK to a goy without them quizzing me about my views, I'm so so so fucking tired of my community being demonized and hated and then being told "no no we hate the BAD Jews, not you!". I'm tired of pretending that I don't have Zionist family and friends who I love dearly, because every fucking person seems to believe Zionist means "genocide supporter" instead of "someone who believe Jews have a right to a state". Every single goddamn Zionist I know is devastated by the massacres in Gaza, not one is calling for the death of Palestinians, they just want their fucking hostages back. Let me make my views perfectly clear. I stand with the people fighting for the right of Palestinians and fighting for the end to the insane death toll. I also stand with the people who want the hostages back and want Hamas gone. If you scream "Globalize the Intifada", if you insist Hamas is a "resistance group", if you are not capable of understanding that caring about both Palestinians and Israelis (while not supporting the Israeli government) is fine, leave. I want nothing to do with you. I'm sick of dancing around this. I'm sick of feeling like I have to stay quiet about how scared and unsafe I feel, about how it feels like nobody in the fucking world is LISTENING to us, about how terrified I am for both Palestinians and Israelis. This Jewish History Month, how about you fucking do the least you can do, and LISTEN to a Jew when they're trying to tell you something. I'm done playing nice. I will continue fighting for what I believe in, even if people think my views contradict each other, but I will NOT continue interacting with people actively calling for my death and calling it resistance. For this month I'd like every single person who has made Jews feel unsafe on college campuses in the name of revolution to grow the fuck up!!!! The pro palestine movement is such a good, important movement with absolutely genuinely positive intentions, but I am sick and tired of pretending that, over the past few months, a great many people haven't used this movement to take their masks off. Not only have antisemites completely infiltrated the movement, but actually good, well intentioned people are spouting antisemitic rhetoric, not out of hate, but because they don't know that it's antisemitic. I should not feel unsafe at protests. I should not have to keep hearing people telling me that the things they are saying and doing are not antisemitic, as though Jews do not know exactly what is and isn't dangerous and awful to us. As time goes on it is harder and harder for me to interact with people who call themselves pro palestine, because no matter how much I agree with their views, their intentions mean NOTHING when they are contributing actively to the harassment of Jews. A good portion of us are TERRIFIED. Everyone seems to be celebrating things that actively call for our downfall, we are being CONSTANTLY gaslit into believing that the antisemitism we are actively experiencing doesn't exist, and literal Holocaust survivors have been warning us that it is starting to look like 1930s Germany and telling us to GET OUT. And I know. I just KNOW. The responses to this are going to be "No we just hate Zionists" or "stop victimizing yourself when there's a genocide going on" or something like that. To that! I say! Fuck all the way off. Why is it that every single fucking minority or oppressed group is allowed to tell you when they are experiencing hatred and oppression except Jews? Since October 7th I've been treated like shit by people I thought were friends, I've watched the entire world talk about how much they hate me. Nobody appears to give a shit about the hostages, nobody appears to give a shit about the people raped and murdered on October 7th, nobody appears to give a shit about Jews at all.
