Listen, Side Order is fun and great.

But...

SIDE ORDER REWRITE THOUGHTS DOWN BELOW:

OKAY SO the main issue I have with side order is a lack of incentive for Agent 8 and the player to complete the spire with all the palettes. YES. LORE. and I like that a lot BUT fighting Smollusk everytime? Snore. Let's spice it up. We free the owner of the palette by fighting the grayscaled version of them. Each final boss is different, so we as the player have an incentive to see new boss and Agent 8 has to save their souls!!!

So in pic one, Deep Cut (at least Shiver and Frye) still haven't been freed, so they're spaced out. They still give the news, but their dialogue is different and more tired/boring. It'll be like this until the player frees their palettes.

Speaking of, apparently a lot of people got pulled in, right? Let's show them in the order plaza!!! Wouldn't it be creepy to just have grayscaled people wandering around- and the text boxes that usually contain players messages and art is just... blank? (or all replaced with the same message like "Order Will Prevail")

Some other notes:

On your first run, Marina is the final boss. You gotta rescue her!!! First phase it's Marina Agitando, then the second and third phases are Overlorder

Pearl stays a Drone until you complete her palette

As you complete palettes, less and less grayscaled people will be in the square. It makes it more empty, but that's only because you're saving people. But in contrast the lobby becomes more full of instruments and light (like in the actual game)

I like to come up with horrible video game mechanic ideas designed to piss off certain subsections of gamers without effecting the gameplay experience of the average player.

For example, what if I made a completely normal action adventure game, but the final boss is inaccessible by any means until the in-game time reaches 3 hours? If the game had an average play time of 10 hours, this would not effect the average gamer. It would, however, piss off speedrunners. If I wanted to rub salt into the wounds, I could make that three hour limit have a variable of up to five minutes late or early. I think the runners would come after me with pitchforks

I really hate to ask but I'm currently out of shampoo and conditioner and I really need that and no one in my household will buy me any because my dad is bald and his gf uses a soap bar that I am Not going to share with her. if anyone could c*shapp me a few bucks that would be really much appreciated.

I also have a few other items that I would like to get that would help me clean up my house and would also help get rid of the mice we've been having. It's a little much which is why I'm hesitant to ask but I don't need this right away, the soap is a priority to me. Normally I would open commissions for this sort of thing but I just don't have the energy to with the environment I am living in.
