aaaAAAHHHHH I'm sorry I'm late to replying QAQ!!! I saw this pop up in my inbox while I was attempting to burp my sister, and the second I opened it in a new tab, she threw up on me 😂

But this is so so so sweet, such a nice thing to have pop up out of the blue <3 Life has been busy this last year, and it's probably gonna be busy for the foreseeable future; I'm not really online too much nowadays, and fanfic/making fanart has been low on my list of priorities.

But having such a kind message appear honestly warms my heart 🥺 The fact that there are people who still think of me, and my writing, and even my family, is just! I have no words XD my insides are all mushy and happy!

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

I know this is a tiny part of the wider problems born of diet culture, fatphobia, classicism, and racism but like god the idea that "healthy" food must inherently taste bad has completely ruined us as a society.

#HONESTLY #everyone has different dietary needs but oh my god #one thing isnt more inherently 'healthy' than another #it's so important to have BALANCE in your diet #even taking into account whatever allergies/intolerances/squicks you might have #and like also specifically on the topic of vegetables #they dont have to be dryass plainass boringass flavorless bowls of disappointment #there are so many ways to cook them! #so many dishes to add them to! #so many other food groups and spices you can combine them with! #meats! rices! other small grains! oils and dairy! #everything plays a part in your overall nutrition #and the emotions and joy you get from food also plays a role #please please i promise that 'being healthy' doesn't have to be disappointing and unsatisfying #there are so many delicious dishes that are not complicated to make #that can give you energy and vitamins and minerals #AND make you feel happy and excited to dine on #i know food is super expensive #especially 'fresh' stuff #so i also promise that buying frozen foods (particularly vegetables and fruits and meats) is not somehow better or worse than fresh #for fruits and veggies specifically i honestly prefer frozen stuff #most of it is harvested at peak ripeness and then flash frozen #as opposed to being harvested earlier and then left to ripen during shipping #theres a lot of flavour AND it stores for quite a while #please be kind to your body and mind #please allow your body nourishment #that also allows your mind to find joy in it #eating is one of the oldest and simplest comforts of life #anyways thats my food rant sorry

At the gate for my flight home from visiting friends and there's a woman here with a service Shiba Inu. No pics because he has a Do Not Disturb vest and taking pics of strangers is illegal but I need to stress how ON DUTY this animal is. Ears up. Eyes doing Lazer scans of everything. Examining everyone who passes within 10ft like a security guard. Ass planted on her feet. I have never seen a dog with such intense chivalric guardian energy before. He has tiny eyebrows and they are FURROWED with concentration.

The way he mourns for Finn Sword after accidentally shattering him, which in itself was done in a desperate attempt to save him from being used against his will to commit evil deeds

As someone who struggles a lot with intense self-hatred, there’s just something so….heartbreakingly beautiful to me, about Finn seeing these other versions of himself, who share his love and his pain and his courage and his torment, and immediately and unconditionally offering them love.

Finn saying “You are me, and therefore I love you” has left a huge impact on me, and it encourages me to try, against all odds, to do the same.
