Chiron in Astrology
Aries/1st House: This placement affects your sense of self. It indicates a need to take measures towards self-discovery. You may have feelings of worthlessness or struggle with your identity. You also may have problems asserting yourself with others. This placement is associated with headaches and other pains dealing with the head. There may be an intense competitive streak or a fear of failure. Healing will begin when you look deep inside and notice your true value and self-worth. Realize that you are equal to everyone around you and that you deserve better from yourself.
Taurus/2nd House: There is a soul-deep void with this placement. Financial struggles are common and you may find that you are trying to use material items, comforts or sensuality to replace what is missing. However, no amount of money is going to make up for what is hurting. There is likely a fear of change and a deep sense of insecurity. You may need to look past your own stubbornness to see the truth of the issue. Healing will come with realizing what is truly missing instead of attempting to fill that space with empty things, as well as learning effective budgeting and money-management.
Gemini/3rd House: This placement points to being overly analytical of your thoughts and communications. You may find yourself second-guessing thoughts and words, as well as your speaking habits. Misunderstandings and miscommunication can be a constant struggle. Writers block or other creative blocks can be present here as well. You might feel uncomfortable with social events or communication. Yet, at the same time, you probably crave social interaction and rarely like to be alone. Healing will come when you are more comfortable speaking your mind and stop limiting yourself around others.
Cancer/4th House: This placement points to wounds coming from family and home-life. You may have had an unstable childhood or struggled with your childhood in other ways. Feelings of abandonment are common here. Usually empathy and emotions are intense with this placement. You may feel guilt when caring for yourself. Almost as though you are only here to care for others and you are not as important. This is a strong indicator to a problematic relationship with your parents but it really could be any family. Try to overcome the vulnerability and lift yourself rather than becoming a victim. You are worthy of love, even if somebody didn’t give it to you.
Leo/5th House: Self-Esteem and Expression tends to be wounded with this placement. This could be caused by early experiences. You may find yourself over-compensating with dramatic displays or a lively personality for what you feel is lacking in yourself. However, these traits are not true to yourself and they are a bit of a show. You may struggle with criticism and rejections. There is a need for others approval when Chiron is present here. You might even crave intense situations or people but have trouble showing your true self to others. You may also struggle with the idea of who you are as an individual. Healing will come when you look inside and accept yourself for all that you are.
Virgo/6th House: This placement can cause issues with perfectionism and self-sacrificing tendencies. You may put everybody else’s needs first in a way that is detrimental to you. This placement can cause you to be overly critical of yourself and others. There is a need for everything to be perfect and go according to plan. You might even find yourself going to great lengths to please others. This can also point to an unhealthy obsession with matters of health and the body. Healing will come when you let go of the control and allow room for error, as well as making time for yourself without setting the bar so high.
Libra/7th House: The wounds here will come with relationships. There is difficulty to commit and make decisive decisions. You may find yourself changing your mind often. You may also find yourself avoiding conflict to your detriment. This means that you may value keeping the peace more than speaking up for yourself. You can have trouble ending relationships or friendships even when it is in your best interest. Try not to lose yourself in other people. You will find healing when you begin making choices based on what is best for you and keeping your identity present and well-known.
Scorpio/8th House: This placement may cause turmoil with self-exploration and acceptance. Issues with sexuality and other intimate topics may be present. You might have difficulty accepting yourself or parts of yourself. This also points to being uncomfortable with what you enjoy or feel. You can have a hard time with ideas of life and death, maybe even a fear of one or the other. Healing will be most present when you explore yourself and your interests without shame and allow change to occur.
Sagittarius/9th House: This placement may cause a lot of problems with comfort vs. risk. You may crave change and excitement but are too scared to actually go after it. You may have trouble forming solid beliefs with faith, politics or philosophy. The world may seem like a lot to take in and really grasp. It’s a good idea to travel and take yourself out of your comfort zone. Learning about new things and experiences will liberate you. You will begin healing once you take leaps and begin to grow and progress within yourself.
Capricorn/10th House: This placement indicates a lack of routine, purpose and a tendency towards defiance. You may find yourself rebelling often and not working as hard as you may need to. Perhaps you are obsessing over the idea of success but not doing what needs to be done. Things often do not go according to plan and effort may be lacking. You set the bar high but usually under-achieve. You may often feel as though there is an overwhelming amount of pressure and responsibility on your shoulders. Healing will come when you begin taking accountability for your misgivings, own your natural leadership abilities and focus on a small group of tasks at a time rather than getting lost in the long list of to-dos.
Aquarius/11th House: There is struggles with individuality with this placement. You may have difficulty with the ideas of purpose. Often questioning what your purpose is and if you even have one. You can also struggle finding where you fit into the world and spend a great deal of time feeling like an outcast. You want to be involved and find passions but you struggle to execute. It may be that you feel ashamed of yourself or parts of your personality. You may also have fears of joining the community and speaking your mind. You can even feel like your opinion does not matter or will be ridiculed. This could also lead to losing yourself or hiding certain pieces of your personality to make others more comfortable. Losing yourself will bring the struggle of finding your individuality once again. Healing will come when you get involved in social communities and interact with others while still being your own unique person.
Pisces/12th House: This placement can affect your sense of wonder. You may have become uninspired and bored over time. Failing to see the miracles of the world. You may struggle to dream big which will affect ambition. Becoming complacent with the life you live rather than striving for the life you dreamed of. This placement can cause you to become very inflexible and unimpressed by others and the world around you. The unknown may make you uncomfortable rather than curious. You may find that others take advantage of you often. Healing will begin to take place when you can see the best in people and the world around you again. Let go of some of your fears and believe in yourself enough to work towards goals.

Sun conjunct SN
Sun: One’s personality has been carried  over from past lives. The self is intertwined with the soul’s past experiences; it is hard to let go of the old way of doing things. Sun conjunct SN can cause confusion in separating the past and subconsciously repeat patterns from past lives. A sense of deja-vu may seem to follow these individuals wherever they turn. It can be difficult to learn to identify with the energy of their North Node, possibly feeling like its their past that defines them more than their future. However, these individuals are also greatly experienced with personal strength, self-awareness, willpower, creativity, and leadership. They have spent many lifetimes working on these skills, and have carried over immense power even if it lies within their subconscious. When one learns to balance this energy, they may enable themselves to use the wisdom carried over from past lives to advance in this life and balance their karma through working with the North Node.
Sun is you, it is how your present yourself in the light of day. South node is your past and you feel stuck with it. Natal Sun conjunct South node means that you are born near the eclipse and there is a polarity between leaving behind your past life and pursuing your life path. People having natal sun conjunct south node have an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that they shouldn’t be familiar at all. They go into places for the first time but seems known to them, or in a situation where they feel that they experienced it already. This still depends on orb of sun, south node and other planetary aspect, houses and zodiacs. These people have a feeling of deja vu and repeating scenarios over and over again. They meet people that they never knew before, but the whole relationship with them is something they already went through.
Having natal Sun conjunct South Node in the birth chart means that the person carries an atmosphere of the karmic past, and seems motivated by other people’s life path. They experience a split personality of leaving behind the past and going into something new and right for them. Sun is you, your persona and ego while the south node is the past that you should let go. Since everything they do, anywhere they go or whatever they achieved has a sense of familiarity they become less motivated. These two planets in conjunction makes the people let go of their own character, personality, ego and focuses on others on helping them achieve their own path in life. Natal Sun conjunct South Node motivate other people to shine and they giveaway the spotlight to others. They are more happy and fulfilled by doing that.
Natal Sun conjunct South Node makes the person shy, unconfident, introverted, secretive and isolated. There is a sense of “been there, done that”…
South node is the dragon’s tail: it eliminates. Planets conjunct the south node have their influence muted somewhat, kind of as if they were retrograde or in detriment. If a planet conjunct the south node is also retrograde and/or in detriment (which your sun is not), then it’s even more so. There’s yet another layer to that, though. North node magnifies everything because its influence is brought out into the material world. South node connects us with the spiritual world. If you have sun conjunct the south node, your ego growth (that’s what the sun represents) has more to do with spirituality than with worldly success. It is probably much more important to you to follow your own path, even if it includes poverty, than to be ambitious, succeed, become wealthy. You may be religious, or not-religious-but-spiritual, or not call yourself religious or spiritual, but still have a sense of calling or searching. However you view it, there is something spiritual about your deepest needs and desires. Focusing on career success, making money, etc. won’t satisfy your purpose at all. That doesn’t mean you can never have money or career success, just that you need something else to be your main focus. Looking at it from a past life perspective, sun conjunct the south node means you were a larger than life person in your previous incarnation(s), or that you’re carrying the ancestral influence of people who were. Sun in this case represents a person who others revolve around, who draws people to them, who is a leader, either out in front of the crowd or through strong influence behind the scenes.

how the mars signs show interest
aries mars: very refreshing placement; they’re honest, open and direct. they let their potential lovers know exactly how they feel. things are straight-forward and there is no confusion. they know exactly who and what they want and will not hesitate to go after it; very ardent in their desires, might come on too strong and be looked at as desperate. they take the initiative, they’re excited by the pursuit, so rejections and evasions only serve to fuel the fire.
taurus mars: it might take them a while but once they decide they’re interested in someone/something, they won’t be easily discouraged; they’re persistent and single-minded. they’ll pursue their potential lover with dogged determination. might not be the most suavest or smoothest and might even be a bit crude, but their style is set in a way that their relationships are more enduring. very methodical and will build slowly. they don’t rush into things, and will take their time to get to know a prospective partner.
gemini mars: they’re tricky. as scattered as this energy is, if they actually focus their attention solely on their potential partner, then this is a prime indication of interest. also, they’ll be charming and eloquent and use their intellect and words, they’ll project their ideas forcefully on their love interest,  debating and gabbing incessantly with their object of interest and will want to know more about them. can get a bit handsy.
cancer mars: will often not make a move unless sure of being accepted. they use their sensitivity to non-verbal signals to gauge how safe it is before risking a refusal, however despite their self-protectiveness, cancer is cardinal energy, and as such, they will initiate but only when they feel emotionally secure, either because the situation is non-threatening or because they have an inner security established within themselves. when they feel secure, they act passionately and powerfully.
leo mars: they can be a bit on the pushy side and make blatant overtures, but they definitely make their wants known and aren’t much on playing games. they tend to show interest in status symbols, either having arm candy or someone powerful. they’ll be affectionate and physically demonstrative, they’ll be very grand and chivalrous. they will pull their potential interest in with their style and confidence. they’re very brash, dramatic, exciting, and passionate in asserting their interest.
virgo mars: very discriminating, they have very high standards and won’t waste their time or energy with those they aren’t interested in. their energies tend to be rather muffled and smoldering, in that they harbour a desire for a long time before allowing it to break out, and then it is very intense. they’re very discreet and don’t rush into things. plays their cards close to their chest; passions are strong but kept under tight rein; they control their emotions and are strategic in expressing interest in someone. they’re capable of expressing ardent interest, but first they have to read their potential object of desire. might have to be the one who’s pursued. can analyze people to death.
libra mars: they think too much before they act, and won’t pursue anyone in a direct, decisive manner. but once they do decide they want someone they’ll exert gentle and continuous effort toward establishing a partnership. they’ll do all the “right” things like sending romantic notes and texts, thank-you letters, cards…anything to establish a connection. they’ll be romantic and charming, and they know what pleases and show a flattering interest in their partner’s life and emotional well-being. will be very flirty and coy to the point of never actually getting down to business.
scorpio mars: on the surface, they’re cool and composed but they are often passionate, though potentially cruel, suitors. they let everyone know what they want but they don’t seem especially pushy, just persistent. if they truly desire something, then their pursuit of someone is uncompromising and undeviating. they go after someone with quiet determination and great thoroughness. once they’re interested in someone, they become deeply attached, sometimes obsessively so, to whatever or whomever they fancy.
sagittarius mars: another refreshing placement; they’re very optimistic, and are not that discriminating when it comes to who they’re interested in. they can be quite bold, blunt, and even crude about expressing their interest in someone. it’s actually hard to say what they want, except that they want who and what they believe in and they’ll fight to get it. they express interest in a wide-open, anything-goes fashion. they’ll be warm and enthusiastic - if they want someone, they really show it. they’re generous-spirited and they expect to be desired, and so act in an open, confident way.
capricorn mars: they conceal their desires behind a carefully controlled and dignified exterior. they will take considerable care not to make inappropriate moves, since rejection would be a cause for them to “lose face”. they may be painstakingly slow in establishing contact, but once they have, they want the rewards for their efforts. they’re turned on by money and authority. with this said, they’ll be more apt to express interest in those who are financially secure or who enhances their status in some way.
aquarius mars: they’ll be very friendly. cool, but friendly. they’ll pursue others who are possibly quite unusual and quirky and they’ll do it in their own idiosyncratic way. they make their minds up as they go along when it comes to actively pursuing someone they’re interested in; sometimes they approach their target, sometimes they wait to be pursued, it all depends on what they want to do at the moment. will be the most apt to use social media and computer dating to appease their experimental spirit and express interest in someone.
pisces mars: if they’re actually intrepid enough to actively show their interest towards someone, then their overtures to possible romantic partners are sometimes so low-keyed that they get misinterpreted - or even missed altogether. they may, in fact, be more instinctive than conscious much of the time, making it hard for others to figure out what’s happening. more closer to the truth, however, they‘re the shiest mars placement, and so others will have to go to them and woo them.

Ten interesting facts about Uranus
Like the classical planets, Uranus is visible to the naked eye, but it was never recognised as a planet by ancient observers because of its dimness and slow orbit. Sir William Herschel announced its discovery on 13 March 1781, expanding the known boundaries of the Solar System for the first time in history and making Uranus the first planet discovered with a telescope.
Tumblr media
Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. It has the third-largest planetary radius and fourth-largest planetary mass in the Solar System. Uranus is similar in composition to Neptune, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger gas giants Jupiter and Saturn.
Tumblr media
(The five largest moons of Uranus) Like all of the giant planets, Uranus has its share of moons. At present, astronomers have confirmed the existence of 27 natural satellites. But for the most part, these moons are small and irregular.
Tumblr media
Uranus’ moons are named after characters created by William Shakespeare and Alexander Pope. These include Oberon, Titania and Miranda.  All are frozen worlds with dark surfaces. Some are ice and rock mixtures.  The most interesting Uranian moon is Miranda; it has ice canyons, terraces, and other strange-looking surface areas.
Tumblr media
Only one spacecraft in the history of spaceflight has ever made a close approach to Uranus. NASA’s Voyager 2 conducted its closest approach to Uranus on January 24th, 1986, passing within 81,000 km of the cloud tops of Uranus. It took thousands of photographs of the gas/ice giant and its moons before speeding off towards its next target: Neptune.
Tumblr media
Uranus has rings: All the gas and ice giants have their own ring systems, and Uranus’ is the second most dramatic set of rings in the Solar System.
Tumblr media
Uranus makes one trip around the Sun every 84 Earth years. During some parts of its orbit one or the other of its poles point directly at the Sun and get about 42 years of direct sunlight. The rest of the time they are in darkness.
Tumblr media
All of the planets in the Solar System rotate on their axis, with a tilt that’s similar to the Sun. In many cases, planet’s have an axial tilt, where one of their poles will be inclined slightly towards the Sun. But the axial tilt of Uranus is a staggering 98 degrees! In other words, the planet is rotating on its side.
Tumblr media
Uranus is approximately 4 times the sizes of Earth and 63 times its volume.
Tumblr media
Uranus is blue-green in color, the result of methane in its mostly hydrogen-helium atmosphere. The planet is often dubbed an ice giant, since 80 percent or more of its mass is made up of a fluid mix of water, methane, and ammonia ices.
Tumblr media
Uranus hits the coldest temperatures of any planet. With minimum atmospheric temperature of -224°C Uranus is nearly coldest planet in the solar system. While Neptune doesn’t get as cold as Uranus it is on average colder. The upper atmosphere of Uranus is covered by a methane haze which hides the storms that take place in the cloud decks.

'Circe's mountain wolves and lions did not attack my men, but rose on their hind legs like dogs fawning on their master ... terrified at the sight of the formidable beasts, they waited on the palace porch.'
Aeaea, home of Circe, as described in Homer's 'The Odyssey'
Beware the petals, and beware the thorns. Run from the pigs and hide from the walls. Watch your step carefully, for it is said, that you will know either the heat of a grill or the heat of her bed.
I must warn you; the grill is far more likely.
Sailors stand shaking before her lions, but are lured in by her song; the goddess with the beautiful tresses, weaving all day long. She spins scenes of beauty alongside the fates of men; it will take an uncommonly special soldier to persuade a most misunderstood monster to love again.
