Why am I telling you this? IDK, it's just stuff I wish I'd been told when I was starting out. I used to freak out whenever I spent a few days away from my blog.

I remember hearing stories about Sāriknight! Although, in Alola they're known as Euhunaita! That and they were a prominent symbol of the transgender community because they were said to have the same blades on their arms as a gallade.

Well, I guess the more you know the more you know! Important side note though: ancient Alolans were actually pretty cool with transgenderism so that probably explains the discrepancy between the most common depictions and the Alolan description.

...Please don't question where I'm getting all this information from.

Folklore Pokemon: Sāriknight

Sāriknight is a mythical pokemon that appear in many beliefs and folklore related to Arceus. They have the appearance of Gardevoir and Mega Gardevoir, but with differently shaped ears, completely green (sometimes yellow) eyes, lighter hair, and wings. They are said to be messengers of Arceus. While they originated in Hoenn of them being messengers of Rayquaza, beliefs of them soon spread around the world, and are now most commonly associated with the Arceus faith.

Their name comes from the word "Sār" meaning "princes" and "Sirknight," which is their Hoenn name. Legends state that these pokemon often give messages to humans through dreams or unown, with some sources even stating that they give prophecies using these methods. Despite their supposed strength, Sāriknight was stated to not be as strong as legendaries, but more powerful than the average mythical.

Hello again! I'm back, I guess?

I know my most recent hiatus was a tad bit long... I was gone for two months. TWO MONTHS. But I am going to try my very best to continue serving this community!

A reminder to anyone who's forgotten what ClefairyTale is: We are a dating app devoted to connecting pokemon enthusiasts of all kinds. Pokemon enthusiasts. Unfortunately, not pokemon. Pokephilia is a complicated issue within a multiverse where pokemon sentience levels and genetic compatibility vary.

A few minor updates:

Previously, our policy was for users to simply reblog profile posts they had an interest in. However, it's become apparent that this system has some minor design flaws. We would appreciate it if users reached out to each other through DMs, possibly sharing the link to their own profile post if available.

Our upcoming Halloween update will arrive October 6th!! Mwahahahahahahaha! Yay, spoopy season. >:3

Minor bug fixes! The most boring, dull part of running an app...
