Here are the two images I am basing the costume on.

As I surfed the web, I couldn’t find an inexpensive Huntress mask, so I improvised. I purchased the Batman Cowl and Batarang Role Playset by Mattel on Amazon for $11.99. The outline of the mask is very similar to that of the Huntress mask. Using an exact knife, I cut the top of the mask and around the eyes to broaden them. Because the mask is made for small faces, I placed foam inside to bridge the nose and around the eyes so that the mask sits nicely on the face. Finally, I sprayed two coats of paint. The final product was pretty satisfactory.

Materials used: mask, exacto knife, craft foam, multi purpose adhesive, Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch 2X Ultra Cover Paint+Primer (Gloss Purple)

The Huntress Project

At best, I am an amateur when it comes to Cosplay. This year I decided I’d take on suiting up like the Huntress (Helena Wayne Version). At first, I thought I’d cheat my way and purchase the costume. To my surprise, I couldn’t find one that satisfied my taste. So, I took on the internet. Come take this journey with me as I take on my 1st project.
