I hate to give yet another of my own opinions, but I felt that I may have an understanding that can be shared and hopefully would rectify any misgivings or ill thoughts or misunderstandings.

I myself understand where you are coming from, and where the anons on that blog are coming from, but I also understand where the admin's are coming from as well. Admining a blog, particularly an rpg blog, is a lot of work. I know, I've failed at it at least three times. However as every roleplayer can understand, real life does take preceedence to their character's life.

I don't know about their character's activity, I don't know who they are themselves as a person on a whole, but I do know that ask-ouat has rules as every rpg does or rather should. And I do know that rules for admins are different to the rules for general roleplayers, if only slightly. Being the creators of an rpg gives you leeway and - I'm going to steal a rather cheesy line and say - wiggle space when it comes to the rules.

I - understand where the anons are coming from in regards to attitude, however as is a rather over-spoken mantra of my own states - 'All writing is open to interpretation' - In this regard, anons could've been nicer, admins could've been nicer, each party read the other's the way they see it. The fact of the matter is that they are in charge of that blog, how they reply to all asks are up to them. I've clearly lost track of your confession, in which I completely overanalysed the situation.

I also apologize if you simply wanted a screencap photo and a link. I have a habit of stating my opinion in certain confessions - or I assume I do as I feel my opinion is on this blog more than others. This will also be addressed in a later post. Should anyone wish to ignore my opinion and simply take the confession, please do so. Simply delete my words because I tend to find that my opinion matter on a scale of one to ten at about a minus a billion.

Yes, ask-ouat are a great family, and your polite wording was much appreciated.

Negativity vs Hate

Here's the general consensus. Any kind of negative message is therefore considered hate. Anyone who sends a negative message is therefore considered a hater. This - Is a load of bullshit. This is in accordance with this blog. It may not be how other's feel, but it is how I feel. 

Negative messages can be a simple 'I don't like your blog' or 'I don't think your playing your character very well'.  Negative messages can include constructive criticism. Criticism that can be used by the person behind the blog to improve their character or their blog in general. And example of that is "Blahblah's portrayal of blahblah is a little too ooc. They should work on their backstory before attempting to rp'. This - Is not hate. If you choose to see it as such, than that's how you choose to see it, but please don't blow it all out of proportion for what could be a simple comment or attempt at helping you improve your portrayal. These kind of messages will be read over and over again, picked part and reconstructed, until it's determined whether they're safe for publishing.

Hate is when a blog or an anon decides to blatantly insult someone. Telling them 'I hate your being and you should just leave or die' or some crap like that. That is hate. Insulting someone with no real cause is hate. Telling someone to kill themselves is most definitely hate. Hate is when you assault someone privately or publicly, not one or the other. Hate is exactly that. Hate. Attacking a character in general, for example; I hate the character Cora because she's manipulative, cold-hearted and controlling - These will be published. Not because it's bashing a character, but because it's giving an opinion that is backed up. In terms of roleplaying, and example of blatant hate is "BlahBlah is a horrible roleplayer and they should just stop ruining that character" - This is hating on a person, rather than a fictional character. These will NEVER be published on this blog. These are not acceptable. 

I felt the need to post this because as of late the number of hate messages building up in my ask box is ridiculous, especially considering that I have countless posted about what I will and will not publish. Please be aware of these before you send a message.

No hate will be published on this blog. And if you send it, even after this post has been posted, your message will be deleted, and really, there shouldn't be those kind of messages in my ask in the first place.

I'm Going To Go Ahead And Aplogize

It seems that what a screencap looks like in the editor is completely different to what it comes out as on Tumblr. I don't know why it's doing that, but it is. I'd try to correct the colouring, but for some reason my editor has decided to screw up on me.
