Quentin is getting used to the colors by now. He is learning to coexist with the blue sky, the red buildings, the greens and browns of the earth. But he is still not used to the color of Eliot’s eyes. They meet his: hazel, haunting. Kaleidoscopes of amber and chartreuse and polished-kettle copper, cradled between soft, dark lashes. Quentin has seen many colors today, all of them beautiful. But, he thinks, as his stomach drops and the rest of the world goes quiet behind the rushing of his ears, the color of Eliot’s eyes might be his favorite one.

Maybe all the twentysomethings are obsessed with cartoons because all the “adult” shows show the same traumas, frustrations, and anxieties we already have to deal with 24/7.

one thing i hate about media is how there’s no sort of representation for how badly friendship break ups fuck you up. like there are a million and one films about romantic break ups but i have yet to see a film or television show that accurately depicts how difficult friendships falling apart can be and how that stuff can really leave you with wounds and behaviors that take ages to heal

Straight people should never be regarded as LGBT icons.

Beyonce, Ariana, Taylor Swift, ect…. They’re not gay icons. They’re not gay. They shouldn’t be regarded as gay/lesbian/bi icons.

If their music resonates with you and you’re lgbt- cool idrc. But I hate that, like… they’re regarded as The Best Gay Icons when they’re not gay.

Lady Gaga? Actually a gay/bi icon. Janelle Monae, Freddie Mercury, ect. They’re LGBT icons.

Shut the fuck up about Ariana and Taylor Swift being gay icons.
