His main Pokémon would be an Umbreon named “Sissel” who keeps walking with him outside of the Pokéball and wears a red scarf. And here is a very rushed drawing I did of this AU lmao]

💾 : What is your character’s Pokémon team? Any Pokémon they don’t  have currently in their team (in their PC Box or elswhere)?

[This is Yomiel’s team, with Sissel, the Umbreon being his main pokemon. Yomiel is fond of Dark/Ghost types and Dark type felines. One pokemon he doesn’t have in his team, but has in his PC box is Shuppet. Since he already has Bannete (Shuppet’s evolution) in his main team, he prefers to use Rotom for a bit of type variety, but he does use Shuppet sometimes so he won’t feel abandoned.]

Cyrus should take up interdimensional traveling as a hobby. This particular journey took him to a curious land with a foreboding chill in the future, as if someone might possess his body very soon. Still, it was very exciting.

It was at the kitschy cyber cafe (maybe he should bring these to Sinnoh) that he crossed paths with that man. At first Cyrus kept to himself, but then the cafe suddenly came under cyberattack, chaos unfolded, and then he was working together with that shades character to destroy these invasive Trojan Horses.

And the next thing he knew, he received an invitation from Shades, whose real name was Yomiel. That brings him to the present, where Cyrus currently stands outside Yomiel’s residence, fiddling awkwardly with his collar.

Then Yomiel opens the door, and Cyrus forces a brave smirk. It’ll just be a nice, casual follow-up conversation from the cafe. Nothing too demanding--

“Sissel?” Cyrus echoes to Yomiel’s pleasant greeting. “I thought you lived alone.” Wait a minute. “Did you say dinner?”

“Oh, didn’t I tell you about my fiancée?” The man in red chuckled. “C’mon in, she would like to meet you.” He stepped aside, inviting him to enter.

A female voice was heard coming from the kitchen, then minutes later, an elegant violet-haired young lady suddenly appeared at the living room, with a huge smile on her red lips.

“Oh, so this is the friend you were talking about, Yommy? Welcome! I hope the food is to your liking!” She approached him and extended her delicate hands towards her new guest. 

“I’m Sissel, Yomiel’s fiancée. Nice to meet you!” Her smile was the sweetest one.

Seeing Yomiel like this was definitely something out of the ordinary - why did he look so nervous?

“Huh…?” He tilts his head to the side, folding his arms across his chest with a puzzled expression.  “You were just what…?”

“S-Sissel…?” He repeated the name dumbly, the realization taking several seconds to actually hit him.  Yomiel was actually asking…him for love advice?! Rubbing his hands together, he beamed and tried to don his best charming expression - even though he didn’t know the first thing about dates or girls!

“Well, you came to the right guy! Tell me about her - tell me about Sissel,” 

Phew! He’d have help! He felt much relieved at that.

“W-Well, you see... S-She’s my... I-I’ve known her since we were little, like... W-We’re childhood friends, she lived next door and was my only friend until she had to move away with her father and... She came back a few years back and when he wet again, she was all... y’know... grown up...” He blushed deeply. 

“I-It was awkward at first ‘cause like, she’s my childhood best friend! This is the dumbest thing ever but I couldn’t help it y’know? She’s just... so amazing...” He sighed.

“And I’m totally afraid of messing things up if... Well... If I do something stupid, so... Any ideas? I’m a total nerd, I have no idea how to ask a girl on a date without being awkward, y’know?”

It was a bit weird having a guest for dinner besides Detective Jowd. But then, didn’t Sissel tell him he should try and actually make new friends besides the detective? So that was he was trying to do, he hoped. He’d met this guy at a cyber cafe one day and he seemed like a decent person, so why not? He was trying to make new friendships so it didn’t seem like a bad idea to invite him for a dinner at his home. Sissel would like to meet his new friend, too.

So when the door bell rang, he opened it, smiling politely.

“Ah, hello Cyrus! I see you got right on time. Sissel just finished preparing dinner. You can make yourself at home.”
