Tsubaki and maka with a male s/o who's lazy and puts little effort into his grades, often unmotivated. He's indifferent to all sorts of things and rarely gets angry at others yet he's very observant when it comes to people's emotions and knows how to comfort them when they're having emotional problems. That said when s/o does get motivated he's actually pretty skilled at corporation and knows a lot of things that a normal student wouldn't know, especially his classmates secrets. (Anyways I love your soul eater content. I just recently watched the series and I'm craving for some headcanons of my fav characters rn)

She doesn't really understand your worth ethic,

Not in a bad way, but you're smart when you choose to!

But sometimes.. You don't choose to.

She doesn't push anything, but does definitely offer to help you study or work together on an assignment.

Is really proud of you when you pass assignments or do something impressive in class, brings you food to celebrate.

She's genuinely impressed by your knowledge sometimes,

She learns a lot from you, and sometimes asks you for advice about certain things.

She doesn't know why you don't show your intelligence often, but she admires you either way.

She will never admit this, but she underestimated you at first.

You never did your work, you failed most of your assignments, so she just thought you weren't that smart or cared enough for the class.

She always tended to avoid having you for a partner in group work since she figured you wouldn't out any effort, until you guys were assigned together for a project.

She mentally sighed but decided to try and just get through it

Maka was stuck on a certain part of the assignment, and was genuinely surprised when you started helping her.

She double checked her worksheet as you helped her, and hey, you figured it out!

Shes genuinely confused, if you knew, why wouldn't you just try to out the effort in and get a good grade?

She doesn't understand, but she's grateful for your help.

She starts coming to you more often for second opinions about a worksheet or even battle strategies,

She regrets judging you so quickly before hand, And she tries helping you in return if you ever have trouble with something.

Something was weird about Kid,

(not like there ever ISN'T something weird about him lmao.)

But more than usual, Kid was fixing his hair more often, making sure no dust was on his clothes, and taking FOREVER to get ready.

Liz and Patty noticed this, and Patty immediately ran up to Kid and jumped to the conclusion that he liked someone.

Kid denied this fervently, refusing to acknowledge Patty's words, but with the way he reacted, Liz knew it had to be true.

Liz tried to ask him who it was, but Kid kept denying he ever liked someone in the first place and ran off. 💀

Liz and Patty had a mission, and it was to find out who Kid was interested in.

For the next few days, Liz and Patty followed Kid in the shadows, trying to see if he ever reacts differently to someone he talks to.

Eventually Kid comes up to you, and he's unnaturally uptight and stiff, Liz and Patty smirk widely at this.

They found out who it was.

Immediately, before Liz can catch Patty, the latter runs up to Kid, tackling him as soon as you leave, yelling that he likes you and Kid has to cover her mouth to shut her up

He drags Liz and Patty elsewhere to scold them about being so loud about it

Liz offers him help, but Kid denies in embarrassment, and eventually walks away from them.

So Liz comes up with a plan, she would help from the background, like pulling strings,

If her, Kid and Patty were assigned a project together?

Aw man...her and Patty gotta go back home cause they forgot something..

Subtly making Kid have to find a new partner for the project, which would be you

Patty has other ideas, and constantly teases Kid about his interest in you, almost telling you straight up

"HEY (Y/N) DID YOU KNOW THAT KID-"

insert Kid slapping his hand on her mouth and dragging her away

In the end, Liz and Patty for want what's best for him, so they do their best to help him.

If Kid ever comes to them for help, Liz would give genuine advice, like, give them gifts or take them somewhere

So Kid does this, but is always stiff and uptight whenever you two spend time with each other,

Eventually, you or him confess to each other, and Liz and Patty watch from the shadows, giving each other a high five

She’s SEVERELY underrated in the Soul Eater fandom. Like she’s hiding in plain sight just to have a better life for herself and no one talk about her

Not much of a headcanon since it's practically canon already, but she acts the way she is out of a traumatic response due to her being shut out if the witches community. She's afraid of getting tossed out like nothing again from the people she cares about

Remember Soul eater not? (I wish I didn't) So we know Jackie liked Kim, but I really don't think Kim liked her back. I think she really only liked the attention Jackie gave her since she was so used to people hating her. Honestly, I think the same about how she is with Ox.

Anyways, moving away from the deep topics 😭

She definitely has girls nights with the rest of the girls in the Main 8. (Maka doesn't show up a lot, she's mostly likely insecure about her identity as a girl so she makes up excuses like studying not to go)

Kim probably silently makes lunches for Jackie but expects Jackie to pay her back for the money she "wasted on ingredients." Same with Ox.

I don't think she talks to Harver a lot, they could care less about eachother honestly. There's probably a mild dislike between the two.

Also, going back to Maka's insecurity about her identity. Kim sometimes would help Maka become more confident, but not without teasing her about it a lot.

Out of the Main 8,I think she mostly talk to Maka and Liz. She thinks everyone else is too quiet or too weird to talk to on a daily basis.

Probably gives fashion advice or dating advice to people. (Not without them paying)

Also definitely reads magazines with Liz.

Sorry if this was a little basic 😭, I'm basing this off of what little we are really shown of her unfortunately. She has great potential character wise but it wasn't really explored within the manga much.

I can’t tell you how excited I am to see someone still active in the soul eater fandom! Do you think we could get some headcanons on how Maka and Liz would react to a touch starved afab S/o?

YES!

Maka is also pretty touch starved.

She usually doesn't trust people enough to allow them to touch her.

Of course that changed when you came.

If you're not used to people touching you she definitely asks before hand if she can hold your hand, or hug you.

You both are pretty new to this, so sometimes it gets a little awkward.

You'd both sit together, not knowing whether to initiate touch or not.

Maka does eventually bite the bullet and attempts to hold your hand for the first time.

After that, she becomes a little more confident with engaging in physical touch.

But it's alright if you're not, she'll take it slow with you.

I would like to think one of her love languages is touch 🤔

Or she like, touches people for comfort (like how she holds onto Patty when she's afraid, lol)

She would assure you that you can go to her for physical comfort, if you're comfortable, since she understands why someone would want physical comfort since she searches for it so often.

(This is assuming that eventually you're comfortable with touch at a certain point) She would always casually sling an arm around you all the time. If you sit together in class she'll just casually sit and sling an arm over you immediately.

I think she'd be very good at comforting people through her touch. Rubbing your back, head, shoulders (if you're comfortable, she would ask first.)

She would try to help you build up your confidence with touch too

She's way more confident with touch, but she understands some.people might not be at that same level of confidence yet, so she'll slow down for you if you need to.

I'd possibly be able to draw 2-3 characters max for a request, but it usually depends how complicated the request is.

Like, in terms of posing, backgrounds, and such. Right now I'll take more simple requests since this is a new thing I'm doing, but I'll build up when I'm more comfortable with doing it.

Obviously requests should be appropriate, please don't ask for anything nsfw.

Sorry if this isn't really a clear answer. This is a new thing for me, but I'll work with it along the way. Once I do this more often I'll try setting up an actual post about the specifics of requesting stuff.

She would be curious at first to why you react this way, but once you explain it to her she completely understands and wants to know which food textures you're uncomfortable eating so she can avoid making those kinds of foods.

If someone makes you a food with the texture you don't like, you can give it to her and she'd probably save it for Soul or give it to Ragnarok since they literally eat ANYTHING

She doesn't shame you for not eating certain textures at all, she understands.

If you have a preferred food texture she'd try to make stuff involving that texture more often then others. She wants to make sure you're never uncomfortable when you eat.

I feel like whenever you two go to a gathering or a party of some sort she'd bring a tiny bag of snacks you like, just in case the party doesn't have food you're comfortable eating.

Overall she'd be very attentive to your needs, I feel like she reacts the same way with certain food textures as well. So she can relate.

He might make you lunch and leave a Lil note for you or when you come home you see a gift there.

I think he would be too embarrassed to give you anything upfront.

He's protective of you but not to an obsessive amount like a crazy yandere.

So people are very confused to see her dating someone so..different.

Sometimes people assume you're rude because of how you react to other people but Tsubaki does her best to shut those rumors down.

If these rumors keep spreading about you she will genuinely start to get a little angry. But she tries to calm herself down before she does anything rash.

When you first started doing this, she was a little confused at first. She didn't think much of it but she apologized to the person you pushed away the next time she saw them. Even if it wasn't necessarily her fault.

Like, even if the other person was making them uncomfortable she still feels a little bad? But she does thank you for protecting her in that aspect

Yknow how at first Tsubaki usually blames herself for things that happen to her or apologizes for other people.

So when you stand up for her she's surprised to say the least

But she definitely shows you her appreciation in many ways.

Whether it's helping you study, making you food, or bringing you on a date all of a sudden.

(Guaranteed she would do all these things regardless, but like, let's say instead of the 5 dumplings she gives you for lunch, the next day she gives you like 20.)

She's very happy that you care about her so much, and she does her best to help you in the same way.
