2.    Would they be a class specific character? (ie. Imperial Agent only. Republic character only)

Absolutely an Empire-only character and would probably only work as an Inquisitor or Bounty Hunter companion, tbh. Vagua is too proud and wouldn’t serve “under” anyone, instead herself along, siphoning your resources because she’s too scary for you to refuse. Plus I’m sure she’d have something you want (money, power, protection against other sith or empire bureaucrats) etc. etc. so it’s not entirely parasitic.

As an Inq companion she’d probably be there to help with any evil sithy business you have to deal with. Both zapping rivals in her spare time, gathering artifacts for herself (giving you the leftovers, ofc), and teaching you Sithy stuff because Zash obviously doesn’t. At some point she’d probably wind up betraying you and bailing, and depending on if she “””likes””” you by the end she’ll either not tell your business to the empire or let it slip.

As a BH companion she’d kind of function in the same way, only sticking a lot more to the “Let me hide out on--I mean use your ship and resources for personal gain and I’ll pardon your doings on this particular planet.” side of things. Definitely more unkind and would probably school you on sith stuff, both to educate you and make fun of loser sith purists. Same as above,betrayal is inevitable and  depending on if she “””likes””” you by the end she’ll either not tell your business to the empire or let it slip.

7.    Would there be a character they don’t like? Would that cause you to choose sides?

She wouldn’t like most characters.

As an Inq companion she’d be very displeased with the addition of Xalek to the crew, as she would feel that he’s not worthy. He didn’t earn the right to be sith. He just killed. Anything can kill. Insects and children and animals can kill. But since you can’t not have Xalek on board, her polarizing issue would be the treatment of Harkun, becoming absolutely livid if you kill him (as she feels you’ve thrown any and all regard for sith teachings out the window) and would only really have 1 more convo with you along the lines of:

“You’re just as much of a fool as I had previously believed, letting that animal onto your ship and making him your apprentice, no less! You’re undeserving of my wisdom, nor are you worthy of the powers you seek. Wallow in the bottomless pit of filth in which you’ve thrown your already horrendously low standards, you wretched little worm!”

before you seal the deal (if you defend your actions) and she tattles on you after betraying you.

As a BH companion she’d probably be very mean to Mako on any and all occasions, calling her “spindly”, “weak”, “replaceable with a mid-range droid”, etc. and I think the player character would have to choose between defending Mako or throwing her under the bus for some Sith Cred. 

9. What would they say if you clicked on them?

“I have absolutely nothing to say to you.”

“Leave me be.”

-Sigh- “Carry on.”

“I suppose.”

“Don’t we have somewhere to be?”

“I'm thinking.”

“In what way does my long, drawn-out silence make you think that initiating conversation is desired in any way, shape, or form? Because it isn't. At all.”

“Continue this trend of bothering me and see what happens.”

“Think to yourself: Is it really wise to pester a lord of the Sith?”

“What is it now?”

“If you’re looking for pleasant conversation, you’re out of luck.”

16. What’s their idle chatter like? Do they talk a lot (when you arrive on each planet) or do they suddenly say something in some strange places?

She really wouldn’t have much to say on any planets/scenarios that aren’t Empire/Sith related.

Like if you were approaching the Dark Temple @ DK she’d say something like:

[as an INQ] “Absolutely splendid! Ancient sith architecture, nefarious ghosts in droves, and enough dark energy to drive a person mad in a matter of minutes! I can’t wait to steal every cursed artifact within arms reach.”

[as a BH] “I’m sure even someone as force-blind as you can feel the ancient power radiating from the temple grounds. Enjoy the sensation while you can, as I doubt you’ll ever feel something like it again.”

8) Are they romancable? Why/why not?

Nope!

Ojot isn’t really into romance to begin with and she wouldn’t wind up doing any smooching/fade-to-blacks with anyone, let alone a blank slate personality player character. She’d fit in nicely as a “comic relief but with like two deep convos/missions you take part in once you know her very well” sort of character. Gotta reach max affection to unlock her tragic backstory, babey!!!!

“Ugh! I think I stepped in something...”

“Are you hungry? 'Cuz I'm hungry.”

“So...what now?”

*dumb snort laugh* “I've got no idea what's going on!”

“I've got nothin'.”

“Sorry, what? I wasn't paying attention.”

“Can't talk....thinking about food...”

“Why are you lookin' at me? 'There something in my teeth?”

“Ask me again when I'm awake enough to remember why we're here.”

“Yeah, yeah...”

“Don't worry, I'm not sneakin' off any time soon.”

“Can we talk a lil’ later? Y’know, when we're not in danger? Thanks.”

She’s tiny so I’d think it’d be hilarious if she was a tank even though her weapon of choice is a scattergun. Definitely not attentive enough for healing.

24 hours = 1 day

Galactic Standard Calendar

5 days = 1 week

7 weeks = 1 month

35 days = 1 month

368 days = 1 year

10 months + 3 Fete (Festival) weeks + 3 holidays = 1 year

Fete/Festival Weeks

New Year Fete Week = first five days of the new year (takes place before the first month)

Festival of Life =  five days between the sixth and seventh months. It was marked by parties, get-togethers, and gift-giving.

Festival of Stars =five days between the ninth and tenth months of the year that celebrates interstellar space travel. It was marked by vacations to other worlds most often.

Days of the Week

Primeday (first day of the week)

Centaxday (second day)

Taungsday (third day)

Zhellday (fourth day)

Benduday (fifth/last day of the week)

The Galactic Standard Calendar is based on the luno-solar calendar of Coruscant (from before the official founding of the Empire). It is the ‘standard’ in both the Republic and the Empire for basic measurements. However, there are many, many variations for various species, planets, etc. This is just the ‘standard’ used; similar to measurements of weight, etc. 

Basically, this is not the ‘only calendar’ but the one used most often by governments, the military, etc. to be the ‘standard’. I thought it might be useful for people writing or roleplaying in the Star Wars galaxies to have a rough idea.

NOTE: There is mention in some sources of a 12 month/368 day calendar, but it doesn’t mention length of weeks, months, etc. other than ‘30-31 days’ so basically seems to be a ‘real life calendar’. I’m not 100% sure which is considered ‘canon’ so I choose to list the one that was a bit more ‘different’ for fun.
