This episode made me really mad, you remember how i said Twice was my favorite villain cuz of his backstory? Well all that doesn't matter anymore, and honestly he had so much room to grow as a villain or a reformed hero that for the first time since the story begun, i'm mad with Horikoshi's decicion to kill him off. How did this happen? Keep reading cuz i can't deny the episode was still good.
This episode had the main focus on Hawks and Twice who was threatened with feathers. Hawks revealed he's on the hero side and tried to convince Twice to turn himself in and start again. After this Twice blames himself for trusting the wrong people again, like when the league met Overhaul and Magne got killed. Twice tries to clone himself and go against Hawks, but his feathers are too fast at hurting the clones. It seems Hawks has everything under control when Dabi shows up, burning Hawks up and telling twice to go help the others. Around this time Dabi calls Hawks by his personal name and we are kept wondering how he knows it. But Hawks is hard to defeat and even with Dabi there he manages to kill Twice by hitting him from behind, this is revealed after we see Twice save Toga and Compress from capture and telling them goodbye before melting away in Toga's arms. Trully well done and he will trully be missed.
As a little side note before talking about Tokoyami's side of things, i gotta say Hawks may be a hero but he's really ruthless. He killed Best Jeanist to prove he was on the bad side and now kills Twice. I thought heroes didn't have licence to kill, if i was Horikoshi, this would have some follow up, but i bet that since Hawks is a secret agent trained since childhood by higher ups, this will be ignored.
The rest of the raid follows Edgeshot, Midnight, Kamui Woods, Honenuki and Kinoko, taking out some baddies in a quick montage before we see Fat Gum call Tokoyami alongside Suneater to fo with him to the basement.
Amajiki is seriously under used, we see him turn his lower body into a horse or Ox while his arms turn into vines with pineapples at the end that hit people. The randomness of his power makes me wanna see him more, he doesn't shine since that 1 vs 3 in the Overhaul arc.
Their main job is to go down and seal the remaining 5 open escape roots the liberation front could use, Tokoyami lets Dark shadow go wild, and after a brief pause when Re-destro tries to stop im, ang gets his robot equipment to move destroyed, Tokoyami is ready to go all in on the basement, but Dark shadow warns him about Gigantomachia being there. Fat Gum says he won't move without orders from his master, and also tells Tokoyami all the intel comes from Hawks. Then they go out, somewhere else as tokoyami wishes to fight with him again.
Since Twice death is where the episode ends, let me end this review in a more funny note, cuz seeing Tokoyami's bird head stick out of Fat Gum's belly is the most bizarre thing since Mirio appeared to Deku taking out the trash. I am caught up now, so i'll keep the reviews coming, unless something happens.

In this episode Mirko surprised me, like i expected her to bust in, encounter a couple of nomus and be killed in a couple of hits. But she smashed a bunch of them in glass tanks and destroyed 2 important ones in a couple of minutes. The black goo warp one and another that had been implanted Twice clon quirk, So Garaki and the "still getting ready" Shigaraki don't have a way out. And Mirko isn't the only hero that turns to be over-powered this episode.
I liked to see Mirko kick nomus as much as i've come to like her. A girl in anime in a bunny costume could be very easily be use as eye candy, but Mirko has this tough girl attitude that makes you appreciate her skills. Her big challenge was going against 5 High-End Nomus, and she managed to kill one. The thing with Nomu fights, is that it's hard to get into them. They do have unique desings and seem to do cool stuff like twist Mirko's arm as if it was made of rubber or grow an exo-skeleton but when you don't know what to expect, the moves seem random action unlike the Nomu fight in season 1 where we were told the quirks and thus the heroes had to use their brain a bit.
That said, Garaki manages to escape and seems to be trying to speed up Shigaraki's process, we also se Crust: the shild hero offer some backup. We see that Deku, Uraraka, IIda, Todoroki and Bakugo are evacuating as part of the Hospital team support.
On the raid side of things, we get to see Shoji, Mina,Ojiro,Momo, Aoyama, Sato, Kirishima and Kyoka worry about Kaminari and Tokoyami in the front team. This episode finally confirms that Kaminari and Kyoka like eachother and it isn't just a friedly tease. Midnight does very well at talking his nerves while going to fight by saying " if you need motivation, think about the most important person for you"
We get a quick glimpse of the Paranormal liberation front when they sense the heroes are coming and Skeptic, one of Re-destro's crew that was keeping an eye on Hawks seems to think Twice is to blame for this, cuz he is nowhere to be found. And the heroes do a great entrance thanks to Cementos, he shows how OP he really is by manipulating the building all the bad guys are in, and literally make the walls split open. A dude that seems somewhat in charge gets ready to use some massive electric attack to stop the heroes and the episode ends with Kaminari being a lightning rod with everyone else behind him.
Certainly a surprising episode that gave the spotlight to some new and some unexpected characters. With so many heroes, i wonder if this double raid will go on the entire season and when Deku will be the main character again.

Before i start, let me apologize cuz i didn't know season 6 had started until today.
When the first episode of the season isn't a recap, you know shit is about to go down. Before we talk about the episode i wanna mention the new opening, it's cool with a more comic book feel, as a concept i like it, but the vibe feels off from all the previous MHA openings. I get that a war is about to happen but it didn't feel like the same show, the last opening of season 4 also had this "shit is going down" and the usual MHA opening flavor, sorry if i'm not making sense.
But enough of the OP, not much really happens in this episode if you break it down, basically Endeavor and Edgeshot lead 2 teams of heroes. Thanks to Hawks intel, they wanna arrest Kyudai Garaki (the evil doctor guy that worked with All for One) and raid a Paranormal Liberation Front meet up at the same.
It's in the "who is where" that makes it interesting. In the hospital we have Eraser head, Present Mic, Endeavor, and Mirko as a focus this episode, they seem to catch Garaki kinda quick cuz the official records say he is quirkless, but when Aizawa uses his quirk we see him age alot, implying he has some rejuvenation quirk or fast regeneration, and that also explains why black nomus have that trait and maybe its why All for One is still allive after centuries. But Garaki turns out to be a Twice clone while the real doctor is in a secret place in the hospital getting Shigaraki ready wich aparently will take 1 more month.
While Aizawa and Mic were questioning the clone doctor about Nomus with the recent discovery that Kurogiri used to be their friend clearly on their mind, Mirko fights her way to the evil lab. I assume her power is to hop high and have super strong kicks (would've been a good internship for IIda back in season 2) But then the clone reveals itself and Nomus come out of every corner, heroes at the hospital start to fight them and she finally comes into the lab and i expect her to die next episode, cuz any other outcome would seem like plot convinience.
I watched the episode last night and i know Class A, Class B and other random heroes where split in 4 groups, 2 in each location as frontline and backup, i dont remember who was in the hospital, but they did mention that Kaminari. Honenuki, Tokoyami and Komori are in the frontline of the Paranormal Liberation Front raid cuz they have large area quirks. I dont think of Dark shadow as an AOE but if it meens Tokoyami focus i'm here for it, i sadly also expect people in the front to be killed or injured first, so in that sense, not so cool to see Tokoyami in the list. The raid still hasn't started tho and it seems episode 2 will be focused on Mirko.
Other stuff that happened was Hawks sweet talking to Twice, (who is still my favorite villain) He seems to both keep an eye on him, specially now that Twice can become a 1-man army but also trying to get close to him to get to Shigaraki. I feel bad for Twice he's the most developed besides Shigaraki and it's clear he has a good heart, he just found acceptance among bad people, so he settled as a villain.
An interesting side effect of this massive operation is that there are no heroes in the streets doing regular patrols, and i think this could backfire. The entire speach of Re-destro is about everyone being free to use their quirk not just licenced heroes, that's what they kinda started by making the Deika fight seem like "regular citizens fighting back" If this isn't like the Overhaul arc that in real time took 30 minutes and people see no heroes around for a few days, i fear they will believe in this philosophy.
So certainly an interesting start to season 6. since i am a few episodes behind, expect the next review to come soon too.

So... I would want you to tell me what is considered the first "case" and how to access it. I would want to see how well I can read/understand/articulate that case. I will decide if it's a format I can fit into my life at that point (having started the liveblogging process). I would want SonBot to be able to send you any asks to screen for spoilers. If you are cool with all that, then let's do it. Sounds like fun!
Case 1 is just Chapter 1 cuz in manga the first chapter is always extra long to set stuff up.
This website seems to have all chapters being only 2 or 3 behind actual release (but with how long the manga is, that won't matter)
In case you continue here is a list of the cases, with a title, release date, and other basic info, the only thing that really matters is the overall chapters. For example i'm on case #213 in between volumes 69 and 70, and it is Chapters 728-730.
Im glad you wanna give it a try!
As to the request to be your screener i accept, but i don't know how setting that works, i'm far ahead enough and know stuff i haven't read yet myself cuz the internet is a tricky place, so i can handle the early stuff no problem.
Also remember to read from right to left, manga works that way.

Detective Conan Liveblog Pitch
So, as you are about to end SU soon, i wanna remind you of a suggestion i made a long time ago. And i’ll give you tips on how i would do it to make it both easy and an eye-catching blog.
In case you don’t remember Detective Conan, it’s a mystery manga where a brilliant teenager gets reverted back into a child body. From there the manga ranges from murders, kidnappings, robberies etc.
There is a plot to follow, but many cases are episodic, focused on certain characters, or maybe they seem irrelevant but will come into play later.
Now lets get to the tips:
Do Manga and Movies: As much as i like the anime for the VA’s, the opening and ending songs and the jazzy sountrack of the episodes the anime has many flaws.
Early plot mistakes
Airing cases out of order (tho its never important ones)
Lots of filler episodes
Censorship later on makes scenes less impactful than in the manga (corpse expressions, blood, ect)
But movies will be a good way to still enjoy the anime from time to time and some of them influence the canon of the manga. (i can tell you when it’s ok to wach each movie as you go)
Read case by case, at your own pace: The manga is 1000+ chapters long (and still going) But if you look at each case as 1 step in the story, it’s actually manageable. Cases can go from 1 to 6 chapters each, the most normal is 3. So you can read a case thru a week or two and THEN do the liveblog about it.
Being a mystery manga means you’ll have to remember characters and events sometimes, so NO RUSH
Read the manga online: This is important for 2 reasons, the first and ovbious one is you’ll be able to do screenshots of any page/scene or cover art for your liveblog commentary. But the other reason is that online fan translations don’t have name changes and other stuff like that that the official manga in the US has inherited from the brief period the anime was dubbed and localized.
If  you decide to give it a go, i can show you websites where you can find it.
Detective Conan is a very special show to me cuz it’s been on local TV since i was a kid even tho it doesn’t air in other places from Spain. and it has a good mix of western influence like Sherlock, Agatha Christie, etc mixed with learning about japanese culture and a dose of action from time to time.
I really want someone to go in as blind as possible, enjoy the characters, try and solve the cases as they read, and be surprised when the main plot and big twists happen.

Enjoy it Grailbot! Deedee even has a pink flower on her hair like Pearl in “A single Pale Rose”
I said this before but the line between character and voice actor gets very blurry when you get to know Zach, Estelle, Michaella and Deedee. She’s so dedicated to the show and the fans, i love her.

This episode felt a bit weird, It did some “showing off” like first episodes do, it also did some setup, but at the end of it all the hype for season 6 wasn’t all there.
First we get a round up of class 1-A and who they interned with, i assume that if we got names for a nunch of pro heroes they will be casualties for the season 6 war. Besides that the only one that had a clear improvement was Mina with her full body acid attack.
Then we got a few scenes with Hawks that seems to regret it’s too late to act, we get confirmation he did kill Best Jeanist (trully a loss, cuz both him and his quirk had potential to shine more (specially if a big conflict is coming) But aside from Hawks being in a wierd spot, both a hero and a murderer, i got lost on what his next move will be.
For this i blame the anime staff, cuz truth be told, they moving arcs around has made it really hard to get into the story as much as previous seasons.
Aizawa and Present Mic are both kinda bummed and angry after learning about Kurogiri’s identity and later we get a scene where Aizawa and All Might have a serious talk about feeling powerless but not giving up. They also mention a talk with Stain was delayed, what’s that about? i fail to see what a talk with him could be usefull now.
On Shigaraki’s side we see him with the doctor as he gets ready to recieve more power. The doctor talks about quirk singularity and how people won’t be able to control quirks soon so he’s “upgrading the hardware” in a sense. He says Shigaraki will have 4 months of pain (which ties into Hawks’s message to Endeavor) and then he could even resist the quirk All for One . Then says All for One coudn’t really master it, what does that mean? (This season finale is so vague)
We also get a talk between Izuku, Bakugo and All Might as he gives him all the info he could find about One for all users, and tells him that now that he has Black Whip into some basic control he should learn Nana’s ability: Float Then Bakugo gets all “i’m better than you” and mocks the quirks for being basic, and i’m shocked they didn’t say this to him: Even if basic, having 6 quirks + super-strenght and being able to combine them is what will make Deku the best hero.
Last thing of note is that Eri’s horn is active again, but they didn’t give us more than a 10 second scene about that, so not much i can say for now.
Overall this season felt like downtime and buildup, except the villain arc. So i know next season will probably begin strong and maybe be as full of drama as season 3.
Doing reviews for each episode during 6 months has been quite the challenge and i hope you liked my opinions. Even tho MHA is over, i hope the few that have read my blog stick around and send ask requesting i talk about any other show or movie on my master lists.

Despite the episode title, there wasn’t to much flashbacks, and overall i’m curious about the new direction for the villains.
The flashbacks this episode just reinforced what we already knew, as on the present we see Shigaraki unleash all his potential. The only bit that made me think was if “Shigaraki” really is All for One’s surname.
The fight with Re-Destro was obviously very one-sided and he even lost his legs. Usually i don’t talk a lot about the animation, but a shot of Shigaraki without any hands (he doesn’t need them anymore) was pretty epic, like that time on the road where i gained respect for him as main villain of the show.
During the fight as he pulled an armor from thin air, Re-Destro realizes that if the goal of his group was to free quirks from laws or any kind of limit, the answer is to make Shigaraki leader. This, plus the massive destruction of Deika make Giganto-machia finally accept him as succesor. Shigaraki went wild and i trully wonder how is anyone gonna be able to fight him when his range seems infinate. We see him bruised and bloody so is this his like when Deku breaks his body? But even then Shigaraki looked like he could keep going so... is he gonna do as All for One and rule from the shadows?
Another thing i really like is how after coming together, they turned the fight on Deika into a civillian fight against villains when heroes were nowhere to be found. This fake news is another clever way to reflect the real world, and in MHA puts the idea of “Not only heroes should be allowed to use quirks freely” to the general public.
Re-Destro seems to be a known public figure of something named Detnerat, other characters have used this name as they pulled gatgets, so is he the head of a support company? Whatever the case, with the league enjoying the rich live once more, we find out how the new liberation army, now renamed Paranormal Liberation Front will work. Aparently we will have 9 generals (all the league members + Re-Destro remaining crew) and everone else will follow them divided as independent groups. I wonder how long term this is, like will we get to see each group do their thing? maybe disagree and be mini arcs till we get to Shigaraki at the end of the show or will the war teased for Season 6 get rid of the hierarchy.
Honestly, i ain’t attached to anyone on Re-Destro’s team so i wonder how important they trully are to the future of MHA. My Villain Academia is over and next week we get the finale, i miss my boys and girls from UA. see you next week.

So 5 seasons later we finally know what actually happened to little Tenko. This is what i wanted a few episodes ago, and after watching it, i may have unpopular opinions.
Let’s talk about a few small bits of the episode before diving into the flasback. Twice is saving Toga, in a very smart way by copying her and doing blood transfers. Spinner is facing Trumpet. the politician with the buff area effect. I thought we would get a bit into spinner since i’ve heard rumors about the anime skipping stuff that affects his character, but no. We just get to know his quirk FINALLY! tho it ends up being he can stick to walls like a gecko. LAME
We get to know Re-Destro is basically The Hulk but instead of anger he powers up with stress, and instead of finding a therapist he releases it as energy orbs. (all brown and stuff he looks like a mooshy banana or a big pile of s**t) He beats up Shigaraki a bit, wonders about the extent of his power and asks him once more about his goal. Shigaraki says “Destroy everything” & “We don’t need a future”
Also Giganto-machia finally arrives and is wreaking some stuff as the fight as made Shigaraki’s memories come back.
Tenko’s flashback
We see his dad dragging him away saying “playing hero again?” which in some way gave me Todoroki parallels. Then we meet his sister who is nice to him, they show us how Tenko has an itchy allergy of some kind (i assume a sign of his quirk that will manifest soon) We learn that the dad’s reluctence for heroes comes from being left behind by Nana. seeing it as selfish to save others instead of her family (ovbiously not knowing about All for One)
Tenko at 5 still wanted to be a hero somedayand he even learns about his grandma thanks to his sister. This was trully a surprise since i thought All for One would’ve hide that from him. The father mad with him for knowing about her puts him in the yard and while crying and complaining he accidentally kills his dog.
Now, comes my unpopular opinio. The dog was an accident, his sister also an accident since at first he didn’t realized what had happened with his pet and went to her for help. Now after she dies, even if he didn’t know touching the ground would reach the rest of his family. WHY THE HELL DO YOU TOUCH STUFF and then finally he lets his anger out with intention to kill.
So if the flashback was to make us feel empathy for him, it didn’t work for me. Sure the dad was an ass with his own mommy issues and rules, but the rest of the family seemed ok even if they just stayed in line. I wonder if all of them were quirkless, so his opinion about heroes was easier to deal with for them.
Either way after the sister Tenko could’ve calmed down or realize it was him, stop and go to a doctor or something to guide his powers better but he let out his emotions and chose to kill his dad.
Next week we get a part 2 sorta, as we’ll learn how the alter ego “Shigaraki Tomura” came to be.

This episode focused on Twice and Shigaraki, and i have just a few things to say, so this post will be short.
We continue from last episode as Twice gets emotionally manipulated by Skeptic’s clones, but in a wrong move they hurt him, so bad that if he was a copy he would’ve turned to mud, but he didn’t and this snaps him out of his trauma as we see an army of clones fight the liberation army and help the rest of the team.
Gotta be honest, it was cool but at the same time with so many copies the action became to messy. i would’ve enjoyed a lower number  and some more detailed punches kicks or whatever. With so many copies i wonder if Twice can make them go away and also if at some point he will go back to doubting his identity
We see Dabi fight the ice dude but besides a couple taunts i feel nothing important happened.
On shigaraki’s side, thanks to Twice they get to the Tower where Re-Destro is, Twice gets to the top and clones everyone on the league (twice power is CRAZY) So Re-Destro goes full “Sindrome from Incredibles” about letting quirks be wild and that when everyone is powerful, nobody is. I wonder what his quirk is cuz he did his arm big, Kendo style but his face has a birthmark or something that seems to get bigger overtime, so it must be something really weird with side-effects.
As Re-Destro talks with Shigaraki’s copy as they fight a bit, suddently the tower falls down as the real Shigaraki touches the base and the episode ends with ruins everywhere but the fight just getting serious.
I guess i should also mention that the doctor in control of the Nomus has awoken Giganto-machia from his nap, so the last few episodes this season may be a bit overkill.

So in this episode we start the fight between the liberation army and the league of villains. In terms of combat not much happens but i love how we get to know Toga’s backstory.
It turns out to be what usually happens with real life serial killers. As a child due to her quirck she had a natural impulse for blood (maybe that tends to happen when a quirk doesn’t manifest in an obvious way) So her parents asked her to be “normal” and it seems she was able to do it till the end of highschool when for some reason we don’t see she attacks a clasmate. Again, i have an issue about how flashbacks are done with still images and narration rather than a more fleshed out scene. Toga going Carrie would’ve been awesome to see.
We learn about all this cuz one of the liberation army crew keeps pushing to know why Toga got to who she is, they even seem to like her enough to suggest she could join their side. This antagonist had the power to turn whatever she touched into bombs. For those who have seen Jojo part 4: a less powerfull version of Yoshikage Kira, i mean she gave Toga a hard time (mainly with the element of surprise) but still i’m glad the annoying reporter is dead.
How did she die? well, after some failed attemps, Toga finally transformed into Uraraka and in a surprise moment even for her she was able to use the zero gravity to lift a bunch of people and let them crash on the ground. This moment and another scene where Shigaraki turned to dust an entire group even tho he was just touching one person makes me wonder why the VILLAINS ARE EVOLVING, why now? is it just product of “training” against Giganto-machia or has the area of Deika a weird power boost somehow?
The team is all split up, Spiner is with Shigaraki, Will we finally see his quirk or does he just look like a lizard? Dabi is fighting against an ice dude that truth be told seems to have A+ control. Mr.Compress is alone too and Twice found Toga passed out in a shed when a new foe that can turn large objects into puppets started tormenting him about his past and also seems to want him to switch sides.
I love it when we get Toga & Twice focus, cuz even tho their villains they are by far the most emotional of the group and they have a brother/sister bond that is nice to see. See you next weeek as we get more empathy for the league and hopefully some more bloodshed.

So... Is it bad too root for Shigaraki?
First of all. I LOVE THAT THEY CHANGED THE TITLE SCREEN. An entire new opening would’ve been better, but i know that takes work
After how slow the Endeavor stuff was, this episode has so much to talk about. This season has had quite a few time jumps since we wnded the Class A vs Class B arc, so i’ll try and order it all.
From this episode i assume Shigaraki meeting the doctor and Giganto-machia happened shortly after Kurogiri was captured by mid season 4. In the last review i wondered why we had simple nomu’s when Kurogiri can act normal, it turns out it’s just cuz the mad scientist behind them doesn’t trust Shigaraki 100% yet.
We finally get to know why he wears hand all over, i kinda figured it out by him refering to one as “father” and that brief flashback image in the season 2 finale but it’s nice to get it confirmed. That said i’m a bit unsatisfied, All for one says his quirk was a mutation, so when it manifested it surprised everyone. I can get behind young Shigaraki killing someone by accident like Eri, but the fact it was his entire family makes me wonder if there’s something else we don’t know. And again, would’ve been nice to see it happen rather than being told about it.
We see how all the villains will help Shigaraki except Dabi who as we know is involved with Hawks. Shigaraki allowed him to fly solo to see if they can recruit him, so i wonder what’s their goal with that.
Then we get a narration by Spinner talking about how they handle the challenge of beating Giganto-machia and i thought we would get to see new moves from our villains in their own “training class” but we just get to know Toga has a new coat (that looks very nice) and maybe a hint that Spinner feels like the league isn’t a “stain fanclub” as they promised.
Finally in the middle of a time out from the constant two month fight our 2 plotlines connect as we see Re-Destro, leader of the liberation army challenge Shigaraki by kidnapping Giran (honestly i wouldn’t move a finger for him) The liberation army don’t want any competition when they start acting openly. So we gonna fight and see who comes out alive.
This will happen in Deika, that place we saw Shigaraki turn to rubble, so i’m hyped to see it happen. And Shigaraki’s plan to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and bring Giganto-machia to the fight against 100.000 to have basically a monster on his side and also earn his respect is genius.
What makes MHA great is how it makes us care for the heroes and the villains, both with Overhaul and now  with Re-Destro (who by the way is ugly as hell) i want Shigaraki & Co to win, which only means that when he and Deku fight someday i may be as split as Twice.

This episode focused a lot into one simple thing KUROGIRI IS A NOMU and this new discovery raises lots of questions about how Nomus are made. Up until now all Nomu had a similar look, and just recently we met the “high end” one. This seemed to suggest it was the most advanced yet so, to discover now that he used to be Aizawa’s and Present Mic buddy just left me full of questions.
If All for One could make such refined Nomu’s why are most of them mindless?
Did Shirakumo have a quirk that combined with others made the warp gate? (i struggle to think what his original quirk was)
When they were trying to awake Shirakumo’s conciousness, it suddently seemed like Kurogiri was “reset” Is that an All for One quirk?
We saw by the end of the episode Shigaraki put into a machine, while that explains his recent white hair i wonder WHO is helping him / aren’t they afraid he will become mindless???
I don’t have much else to say, it was an episode full of backstory and characters talking so besides breaking my head this episode was pretty straight forward. I would’ve like to see what Young Aizawa and Shirakumo were fighting when he “died” even if it was a random villain. It would have been a nice action break and i also feel we need more SHOW DON’T TELL when it comes to flashbacks in general, too many words kill the emotion for me.  I expect some things to be explained next episode so see you then to untangle this new mystery.

This episode was better than the last couple and it did go fast. Basically we continue were last week ended, learn that Natsu blames Endeavor for Toya’s death (we still don’t know what happened) and then a villain attacks as everyone is leaving.
The villain in question is called “Ending” and has one of the weirdest powers i’ve seen so far in this show. He can take control of ROAD PAINT (WTF) We don’t get super in depth into him but he’s someone that Endeavor arrested a long time ago that wants some kinda vengeance but also to be killed by his flames. When you think there’s nobody crazier than Toga, Horikoshi proves you’re wrong.
He kidnaps Natsu and Endeavor and our 3 starter hero choices go to save him. At one point Endeavor hesitates to act and we later learn he acted this way cuz if he saves him, maybe Natsu would feel forced to be grateful and he doesn’t want that to happen. This is nice and all, but if i had a son being kidnapped i would save him AND THEN explain that they don’t need to thank me for it.
This desicion not to act lets the U.A students show off what they’ve learned and the villain gets defeated.
As a sidenote i wanna say i first though this villain wanted Endeavor to kill him as another move to bring hero society down, maybe as a long plan of the liberation army regardless of Shigaraki saying in 4 months everything will be destroyed.
As police come we get teased about Bakugo’s Hero name, but he plays hard to get, And as a post credit scene we find out that Endeavor has decided to live in his home while his kids will move to a new home, so when Shoto’s mom comes out of the mental hospital they all have a place to be happy without him. This is a true sacrifice and i like it, but i’m also glad the Endeavor stuff is over (at least for now)
Next time we’ll go see Kurogiri in Tartarus, curious to see WHY and also curious to see if they explain how they neutralize quirks cuz it’s something i need to know. One Piece has the kiroseki so what’s MHA equivalent besides Aizawa or anti-quirk bullets from Eri?

This week i don’t have much to say really. The episode was more “Try to catch Endeavor” a bunch of Todoroki family flashbacks and the promised visit of Deku and Bakugo even tho it was charming, (i love how cheerful Midoriya is at meating his boyfriend family) can be summarized as awkward tension.
So the only point worth talking about are the last couple of scenes where we see Endeavor at an altar (most likely of somebody dead) saying “Toya” Now that’s interesting cuz the picture shows a white-hair boy and all this time i thought Toya was the redhead sibling we see in flashbacks but it’s always kinda ignored. I’m gonna admit all this time i thought he would at some point be reaveled as Dabi, but now i wonder how complex the Todoroki household drama really is. If Dabi is the redhead but not Toya ¿What happened?
We also get to see a villain that has an outfit similar to a cartoon prisoner (white and black stripes) that seems to want to attack the house, so at least next episode we’ll get some solid action.

This episode is a weird one, i can clearly see it as a filler but then there’s a couple of things that make it seem canon. First we get Uraraka’s new costume that now has grappling hooks so she can attach herself to a target, to then do some Gunhead Martial Arts. I assume this will stay, and it’s a cool new gatget for her but i wanna see it used more cuz it was perfect for this situation but i wonder how it can be used in a more active fight or even in a rescue setting somehow.
Then we got a post credit scene that seemed to tease a villain that will use this new drug “Trigger” and i wonder WHY put such a thing in a filler? I only have 2 theories
This filler was a way to flesh out the liberation army and show how big there plans are. (they mention the drug came from Europe) We’ll see this mystery villain at some point linked with them
Like that episode in season 3 that set up the “Two Heroes” movie this is a setup for the second, that came out a while ago but maybe now fits on the timeline. Or maybe even the third movie ( the few promo pictures show our TOP 3 as the leads so maybe it’s movie 3 that fits here) But if that’s the case why was the filler about the girls?
As far as the episode itself goes it was OK, it had a few cool moments with Uraraka being launched on a harpoon and trying to land a plane but it had basically the same plot as the filler of season 2 with some beach fan service added, so i wasn’t that into it. And the Present Mic screens felt unnecessary.
Next episode we’re going back to Todoroki’s house, i wonder why Deku and Bakugo are invited, but hey NEW CHARACTER DYNAMICS! Can’t wait for next week
