The reason is many but it ranges from plain old discrimination, interviews being the worst things ever for autistic people, the fact most jobs require social skills and networking which is a massive barrier for autistic people, employers not wanting to spend extra resources to cater to one person, and the fact that many autistic people after countless rejections just give up.

//Had it not been for my family constantly trying to help me through it, I would have given up without even trying.

I feel ya. I just got my Bachelor's in Poli Sci, and my autistic ass has been having trouble finding any job in my small Cali town. Even the dudes at Panda Express wouldn't hire me. So it's definitely not just a British thing. It's an albeist thing

Pro tip; try to get into a small business. The reason being is that large mega corporations will just treat you as something to tick the diversity boxes and give little shit about you. Small businesses though are more flexible and most will learn to work with you. It’s a learning experience for both you and your employers.

Hifumi crashes like a cannonball straight into the head of the robot, and crushes it, but for good measure, he quickly grabs its remains and tears it off. Celeste's robot begins to power down, and the drill and functions stop working.
