that scene in tlo where thalia tells percy he can't start feeling sorry for luke bc luke made his choices. and thalia reveals that the reason they couldn't make it to camp in time for all of them to make it to camp was bc luke kept picking fights. and annabeth never saw this as wrong bc luke was her hero. so thalia had to pick up the pieces. and percy thinking both that luke was put in a cruel position and that luke was putting others in a cruel position. and percy is the only character who understood both sides of luke bc annabeth sees only the best of him and thalia sees only the worst. and that's why percy is the prophecy kid and the one who gives luke the knife. bc annabeth had spent the entire series essentially giving luke the knife when he didn't deserve it. and thalia was never going to give luke the knife. but percy is the only one who can see exactly when luke deserves the knife.

i love that jensen ackles has become like. a well known and respected actor ever since he played soldier boy in the boys but i still see him pop up in social media all the time talking about bringing back supernatural. like he's committed. the spinoff didnt even do that well and he still won't shut the fuck up about doing another season or making a movie or whatever. i fear the deangirlism is fatal. he's like a musician on the titanic it's all or nothing he's sinking with this fucking ship dude

they HAD to get rid of the handprint after 4x01 because then Dean wouldn’t be able to have super hot heterosexual sex with a real 3D human woman on screen if he still had the scar. the moment he takes his shirt off cas becomes the focus of the scene purely through his absence. even by implication it’s too dangerous to acknowledge the spectre haunting the show. an angel permanently altered the landscape of the leading man’s body and the writers can’t even follow through with it because they know how it’ll come across. dean, at the very pinnacle of heterosexual masculine performance, cannot help but be situated in relation to the gay angel who saved him. so they omit the handprint.
