The video for “Age Of The Internet (Nudes)” is out!!
For this video I was feeling really inspired by David Lynch and Bridgette Bardot in Le Mépris. Jean Luc Godard utilized quick cuts in a really cool way in that film and I wanted to incorporate that into the video in some prominent ways. I’m so fascinated by people who create worlds for the rest of us to live in and hope to create my own someday.
“He never sleeps. He says that he will never die. He dances in light and in shadow and he is a great favorite. He never sleeps, the judge. He is dancing, dancing. He says that he will never die.” - Blood Meridian
“So everything is necessary. Every least thing. This is the hard lesson. Nothing can be dispensed with. Nothing despised. Because the seams are hid from us, you see. The joinery. The way in which the world is made. We have no way to know what could be taken away. What omitted. We have no way to tell what might stand and what might fall.”
Françoise Hardy wearing a gold-plated metallic minidress by Paco Rabanne in 1968. Made with nine kilos of gold and 300 carats of diamonds; composed of a thousand platelets and 5,000 gold rings, and adorned with 22 monumental diamonds that edged the neckline. The iconic dress was at that time “the most expensive dress in the world”, and was guarded by four armed bodyguards.
