I liked art of dl characters with varying skin tones, like anothermajorlazer27blog's art for example, and I wanted to do it too! I find it kinda boring when a series has a big cast but everybody is the exact same shade of pale. and I especially fell in love with dearyui's yuma art so I was inspired by that when drawing him.

ive literally been thinking about Yuma mukami punching wolves alld ay.  I want him to fight a pack of wolves for me and carry me off into the sunset in his wolf punching arms. I may have only finished one route during my dogsitting adventure (and I still didnt play carla’s heaven scenario whoops) but at least I got TWO chapters of shuuma fic done!!! I’m basically unstoppable

From your comments on carla's route it feels like a carla subaru and yui route more lmao

chaos lineage was really smart for giving most of the boys playmates to run around with. with a plot like this (stuck in a fake world where everyone you know has been brainwashed and doesn’t remember your real life) it would be easy to feel lonely with just yui + her bf. especially in the routes where they run away from home. so I’m very thankful for routes where we have a companion! the dialogue is so much more full of life when we have another person to bounce off of, and it’s given us insight into different character relationships.

I’m especially thankful because the tsukinamis haven’t actually had friends (like Real Friends) up until now, so I think it’s delightful that they spent CL getting to know subaru and kino better!! I love it! thank u rejet!

aaaand carla CL endings!!

euphoria end:

after feeling all bittersweet about leaving the miniature garden, we chain up all our prisoners and march everyone to the church. on the way, shin acts out and carla tells him to “follow his older brother’s example.” (ooooh) when we get there, carla decides to tell everyone the truth: this is a false reality, and the magical source of this place is the church so we’re gonna destroy it to go back home.

socrates shows up again to ask if they’re really making the right decision. carla tells him to fuck off but he was asking yui, not him. so yui gives her answer: she wants to leave this place. rather than choosing eternity, they want to find joy in the moments they can spend together. socrates laughs and says those words hurt, as someone who has let eternity pass by. with that, carla destroys the church with magic, and the world starts dissolving into particles of light. it’s beautiful, and carla wonders if everything is this beautiful when it disappears…

we wake up in eden and socrates is there and he once again explains that he created Diabolik Lovers: The Remix to test carlayui’s love. carla says it makes sense to doubt, because it’s laughable for adam’s body to be diseased, but he won’t give up yui. also, if socrates tries this shit again, carla will erase his entire existence.

now, following the pattern of euphoria ends, it’s time to go home and keep living our normal lives. they have a nice talk about how the flowers here are more beautiful because they eventually wither. and that’s a wrap! you might be thinking, “hey, we never got to see carla and shin reunited!” but dont worry about that. forget it. forget all about it

labyrinth end:

while they’re all walking to the church, shin breaks out of his chains and reveals he had a hidden weapon!! he slashes his sword at yui, and carla protects her with his body. subaru then punches shin to the ground lmao. carla gets to his feet and says this wound isn’t fatal, but I think this might be the first time I’ve seen his injured sprite so that’s a fun treat! usually nobody can injure him.

but, but. shin has carla’s blood all over him, and his OWN wounds haven’t healed yet. and endzeit is transmitted through blood, u know? oh no, shin must have endzeit now!!! ;-; (pretend you don’t know what happens in lost eden lol…remember, this is a different timeline!)

carla can handle his own death, but he can’t possibly lose shin too. so there’s only one thing we can do. yui makes her choice: let’s stay in the miniature garden forever!

carla declares himself to be the overlord and everyone keeps living a lie. the others dont get their memories back. really, the shin thing is just an excuse. yui made this decision because she wants to live here forever with carla, so he can never leave her. even if carla has some doubts about whether they’ve done the right thing, they plege to live eternally together.

carlayui seem pretty okay, but think about how much subaru must be suffering in this ending…other than them, he’s the only one who knows the truth and he’s the only one who didn’t participate in this decision. carlayui just decided for him that he’ll never reunite his real family or go back home again. I wonder how he’s dealing with it :(

subaru THANKED CARLA for stopping the fight, and carla was like “I used to think I would never help vampires. You two, Yui and Subaru, are the ones who changed that.” and he couldn’t have done it without him, so he thanked subaru too….!!!

then subaru’s face got bright red and he ran away ^^ you two make me so happy, you know that???
