One more thing for tonight.

It happens few and far between, but people are reaching out to me, letting me know that either they really want to book me for their event or they really admire my style of DJing. You have no idea what that means to me. Naturally, we are our own biggest critics, but to receiving reassurance like this keeps me going. To those who reached out to me, thank you for vibing with me. I’m just trying to be true and authentic to myself, and I’m happy to see that I’ve reached others through music.

Just got home from a Halloween party @ BannedLA. It’s nice to resume these festivities as regular after COVID restrictions. If any of y’all know me well, you know that I love dressing up haha - it was actually my first time cosplaying (as Eraserhead from MHA). I’ll post some pictures soon.

I’m even more excited for Saturday; I’ll be spinning a set at Soul Ctrl. This has been something I’ve been looking forward to since I joined ACODJs - the creative freedom to play some dope music/edits/remixes. This is exactly the sound I look forward to pushing out as a DJ. My costume’s gonna be dope, and I’m hoping to have my set match the vibe.

Beyond just this weekend, I’m already being booked for November, December, and January. Things are looking up.

I’m back on tumblr since high school... Lately, I’ve been feeling that I need a safe space for blogging my thoughts, feelings, music - you name it, and I’ve always felt at home with how Tumblr worked. I’m definitely looking forward to what I come across on this platform (may it help me creatively!) and what I’m able to offer and express.  Anyway, here is a live mix I performed/mixed with re-recorded audio, from an event my friends and I threw called ISOULATION. I put a lot of thought into what sounds made it into the mix, and I’m glad with the outcome. House, R&B, Soul vibes with a heavy bounce. Enjoy.
