The falling rain could be heard from the outside as the windows were open and the rain drops were hitting against the glass of it. Fresh air and the comforting smell of the rain were filling the semidark room. Soft music could also be heart in the background, making the atmosphere relaxing.

Y/n was sitting on her bed with a book in her hand, going through the pages filled with sentences that made her so into the book that she didn't notice the tall boy entering silently. His hair popped in firstly after opening the door softly, not wanting to be too loud in the quiet house. Then, he peeked with his head, catching the the sight of a figure laying in her bed, under a blanket, with a focused look on her face as she didn't take her eyes off of the book in her hands, not hearing him entering her room fully now.

Once he saw that she still didn't notice him, he smirked and leaned on the wall, watching her silently and waiting for her to notice him and make the cutest shocked face - according to Ni-ki himself. It didn't quite take long since he decided to clear his throat softly, catching her attention. She gasped as she looked in front of her, making the same exact face Ni-ki was waiting to see, making his heart melt at the sight.

"Gosh, Ni-ki, you can't always do that to me." She said with an angry tone, her voice nearly a whisper. She adjusted herself before patting the spot next to her, indicating for him to sit next to her. He gladly did that. He made his way to her.

She had a blanket over her so he slowly crawled in bed and got under the blanket, cuddling up to her as he put his head on her shoulder and looked at the open book in her hands. He let her read in peace as he also read something here and there, not daring to distract her.

The sound of the rain was comforting to him and the warmth he felt was making him feel sleepy. He couldn't be more relaxed than now.

He took his eyes off of the pages and looked up, admiring the girl that was reading. Her eyes moved left and right while her breathing was calm and silent. Her hair was messy, and she was barefaced. 'She's so beautiful,' he thought to himself and smiling after.

Y/n had felt his eyes on her and looked down at him. She closed the book and left it on her stand next to her bed and turned all her attention to the boy who didn't take his eyes off of her, not one bit. She put her hands around him, making him fall onto her chest and feel her heartbeat. The blanket put even higher now, keeping them both warm. They cuddled in silence while the rain was still falling, even more than before now.

It was a weather they both loved. At least when they were together since they could relax with each other just like now. It also wasn't a secret they had strong feelings for each other. So times and moments like this made them know the feelings were mutual and real, and it made their souls at ease knowing there was nothing to worry about at all.
