so I started with Grant as my character’s boyfriend, then after the last update I had to see how bad it hurt if Prii was my partner instead. It HURT LOADS!! I love Grant, but I think I’m going to stay with Prii bc I can’t not have that in my story CRUNCHY

Yesssssss!

I definitely added a lot of work for myself by having an entirely different conversation if you had a romantic history with Prii, but there are enough variables relating to that (having a crush on them, having a thing with them, being brokenhearted over them, whether you've flirted with someone else) that it was just easier to write as two separate branches that reconverge.

Needless to say, the painful scenario was very, very fun to write. Glad you enjoyed it!

What flavor is our villian juice? I personally imagine it to be grape cough syrup flavor which i dont mind.

But if its that artifical cherry flavor stuff just shoot me now this is horrible. The flavor of my villian juice will determine how loyal I'll be.

Answering love or hate for Catalyst is sorta difficult, bc I do hate him (I am a sane normal person and would delight in tearing him to shreds if that was something sane normal people could claim reasonably to want to do)... but I'm also part of the anons obsessing over him.

I would hate him in most other circumstances... in fact, I would go so far as to say that I probably do in fact hate him. But. He presents an interesting dynamic. I don't think a tragic backstory could "excuse" anything he does. But who doesn't want a red flag RO..? Ahem.

I don't need to fix him. I need to know what makes him tick, what makes him hesitate, and how he would act if our roles were reversed how to make him obsessed with me... in a slightly different way.

It's understandable to want to know more. He and the other Coven members are fairly mysterious so far.

Though on a related note, it's early days for the cast of ROs, gotta give those red flags a chance to be exposed!

Almost invariably her horns. Cause y'know, horns.

Looking in the mirror it uhhh. It depends on how her dysphoria is treating her on a given day. Maybe jawline, maybe physique, maybe brow. On better days it might be her horns or hair. She fusses over that arrangement a lot.

43 - What do they commonly misinterpret because of their own upbringing / environment / biases? How do they respond when realizing the misunderstanding?

Kay is a little too quick to believe that she's a bother to others or that she's otherwise making an unwarranted fuss. While she's optimistic by nature, she takes an attitude along the lines of "well, better get on with it"

If externally validated she's not making a fuss, she's gratified. If she realises for herself, she stews on it.

Grant actually knows a lot about art and theatre (I mean technically theatre is relevant to AdVenture performances, but y'know, not the direct plot), though he's super evasive about whether or not he does any art himself.

Writing Update

Currently I am in The Slog ™. I’m happy with how Chapter 6 is progressing but involved action sequences are, well, involved, and I must admit to some fatigue with writing almost exclusively action for the last while. (one segment in particular has some pretty complex code with a bunch of moving parts) Last week also had some craziness IRL that I won’t get into but was rather stressful, and that stole away some days. Still, I’m back in the saddle and moving forward.

I might do something I haven’t before and write one ‘route’ of CH6 before the other to push into an update. That’ll allow me to section the workload a bit better. I haven’t fully decided though. Depends on how well I can get through these subsequent action sequences.

Once again, thanks to all the readers and commenters.

BTW - still having trouble with inbox/asks and all that good stuff. I am seeing your asks and will definitely respond, just as soon as tumblr lets me! It's frustrating to be honest.

She can collate information and use it to run scenarios—simulations—of future events, then act upon those predictions. It's part of why the Zone incident was so damaging to the Hounds, escaping their leader's supposedly all-seeing eye. For your purposes, if Vantage has studied you, then she's likely to anticipate your usual tricks.|$!{cg} said… something about how Vantage's powers operate, but she was bombarding you with so many different parahumans and powersets that you don't properly remember. Vantage's powers let her run scenarios in her head and predict things. Somehow.}
