FEATURING ABRAHAM WELLS
Location: Outside of Hale’s Diner
With: Eden Abbott

“god fucking damn it,” muttered abraham as he listened to the latest voicemail on his phone. everything was such an utter mess. tensions were high and with good reason. he was still processing the fact that katrina was gone. what made it worse was that no one knew who had done it. in the mean time he was just trying to smooth things over the best he could. something told him that the storm he had been wondering about was coming. he was parked across from hale’s diner since he intended on getting something to eat. at least till he had made the mistake of checking his phone. his head lifted when he spotted a familiar face heading towards the diner. he couldn’t actually remember the last time that he had run into eden but he couldn’t help himself,” hey half pint!” that earned him a few look from the others that were walking down the street. he went to climb out of his car and made his way over to where she was,” looks like you get the pleasure of my company for lunch.”
Tumblr media
The whole town was on edge these days, which meant there wasn’t a lot of business for Eden at Curly Bops. People weren’t exactly thinking about getting their hair or nails done, when there had been two murders in town  —  Something she could understand in the grand scheme of things, but got on her nerves as a business owner. Heading to Hale’s for lunch, after sitting around the salon waiting for people to call and book appointments, seemed like an unfair trade. When hearing someone call out after her, she turned and rolled her eyes when spotting Abraham in his car, although a small smile played on her lips and threatened to give away that she wasn’t as annoyed as she tried to show, “What?” Her face twisted into confusion, “Half pint? Really? That was a particularly uninspired greeting. It was the equivalent of me calling you stretch... Or Andre the Giant. Who, by the way, you show a lot of resemblance to” She said with a chuckle as he came closer and when he mentioned lunch, her stomach growled, “Okay, but only because I’m hungry. I don’t usually fraternize with giants” Turning away from Abraham, Eden chuckled to herself again. As they entered the diner, she sat down in a booth and begun perusing a menu, all without speaking a word to Abraham.

(From Abraham) [text] Remind me, why are we still friends?
[ EDEN → ABRAHAM ]  Because I’m awesome?
[ EDEN → ABRAHAM ]  Because if we weren’t you’d lack quality content in your life?
[ EDEN → ABRAHAM ]  Because my tits look nice?
[ EDEN → ABRAHAM ]  All of the above?

FEATURING  —  @cjmonroe
STATUS  —  Closed
LOCATION  —  Eden’s house

The drink in Eden’s hand was a necessary one. Not just due to the death of two Charming residents, but because after she heard the news, Eden had decided it was time to rip the band-aid off. Yes, CJ had just suffered a loss and some might say she was being insensitive, but Eden was sure in her decision. Two life changing news, and this way he could grieve both at the same time. CJ had texted to let her know he was coming over, to check up on her and with everything going on, she appreciated the sentiment. Simultaneously, she was a nervous wreck due to what was about to come. Would they still be friends? When she heard a knock on her front door, Eden sighed before downing the remainder of her drink and placing the glass on the coffee table. After getting up and unlocking the door, she nodded up at CJ with a weak smile on her lips, “Hi. Thanks for stopping by to check up on me. I know things must be hectic right now” She spoke on autopilot while walking away from the door, and headed towards the bar-cart her grandmother had insisted on having and it always being stocked. “Would you like a drink? Because trust me, I do”

CJ: Hey, sorry I’ve been dealing with everything and everyone here. Only just looked at my phone
CJ: Definitely not a fight. Idk how else to say this so, they found a body outside the town hall and it was Martin’s. So everything’s a bit crazy right now.
CJ: I’m fine, don’t worry. Just please stay at home, ok? Lock the door, just keep safe.
CJ: Whatever’s going on we can talk about it tomorrow. I can come by and make sure you’re okay.
Eden: Martin's body????... Martin's dead??? What... But he was such a nice guy.
Eden: Take care of yourself. Stay safe. Promise?
Eden: I'm guessing it's Disciples business, but let me know if there's anything I can do for you.
Eden: Uhm, okay. Yes. Stop by tomorrow.

EDEN ABBOTT • 32 • OWNER & HAIRDRESSER AT CURLY BOPS
Gender: Cis female
Pronouns: She/Her
Face Claim: Lucy Hale
Length of stay in Charming: Her entire life
Trigger warnings: Death mention
+ friendly, dexterous, audacious - haundiced, dejected, hot-tempered
How do you feel about the Devil’s Disciples and the Wicked Wolves?
“They throw amazing parties, I’ll tell you that much” She joked with a short laughter, before shrugging. “I hear a bunch of stuff from everyone who comes into Curly Bops, but they’re just rumors, y'know? Who knows what’s true and what isn’t? I seriously doubt that the Disciples and the Wolves even did half the stuff some of the people who come in, claim they did” Eden had heard a lot of stories throughout her time working at the salon before inherited it, and even knew a lot of the people involved with both the Wolves and the Disciples first hand. Which was exactly the reason she chose not to believe the rumors until proven true. “I’m guessing you’re expecting me to say they’re all a bunch of thugs, right? But my philosophy is that people are innocent until proven guilty, and I will stick by that to my grave”
What’s the most important thing to you?
The first thing that came to mind was family. Her mother had had Eden just after turning nineteen and Eden had never known who her father was. A fact which had royally pissed off her grandmother. Goings were tough for the young mom and her baby, but they’d developed a strong bond. Eventually the grandmother warmed up to the idea of being a grandmother and offered her daughter a job at Curly Bops, the family owned salon. The three of them had a small yet closeknit family of three and Eden loved every minute. After her grandmother passed away, the salon was left to her mother, and when Eden’s mother passed´just a few months ago, Eden herself inherited the salon. To say it was a family business was an understatement. It was a staple in Charming, having been around for generations and most people came to them to get their hair, and in recent times their nails, done. “Family’s definitely up there” She spoke gently while picking her freshly manicured nails. “The family business.” They were all answers people expected from her. “I’m sort of just taking life one day at the time right now. So right now the most important thing is to get through the day”
What are you most scared of?
She thought for a minute in silence, before shrugging again “Sharks and flying come to mind” A joyless laughter escapes her at her own attempt at a joke, before she silences again. “Being alone. Being forgotten. Being just another name in the paper after I’m gone” Her tone is weak and she continues picking at her acrylic nails. Her mother had never married and her grandmother had been widowed young, so there had never been any real male influences in Eden’s life. She dreamed of a future for herself where she would have a partner, in life and in everything she did, but her fears often took ahold of her and made her believe she’d be alone forever.
If you could have a million dollars right now, what would you do with it?
A beaming smile found her lips and Eden leaned forward, much more engaged in the conversation than she’d been before, “I’d start by doing a full make-over for Curly Bops. It’s not that I don’t like the whole old school look we’ve got going, but the salon could really use a spruce. Then I’d probably hire a masseuse and an esthetician and make the salon a salon and spa combo. I really think Charming could use that. People can be wound up so tight, so a day at the salon and spa could really help” She giggled and then continued “I’d probably go on a five star vacation too. To Bora Bora or the Maldives, come back and be all tan and get right back to work. I’d donate to charities who need it, especially those who have to do with helping single mothers in rough goings. The rest, if there was any, would go towards a new wardrobe and then I’d probably just put what’s left over in the bank” A solid plan if there ever was one. At least to Eden.

Eden: I heard a bunch of police cars, sirens blaring, heading downtown.
Eden: You're at Town Hall for the masquerade, right?
Eden: Just a wild guess, but I'm guessing there was a fight involved, and maybe some alcohol?
Eden: Just let me know if you're okay or if I should come down there and fight someone.
Eden: Okay, I know things have been weird between us lately, but that's no reason not to reply to my texts.
Eden: I'm worried about you.
Eden: CJ???

Hey guys  !  It’s Korrie here, back at it again with my fourth muse  !  Below the cut is some information about the mess that is Ms. Eden Abbott  !  Like the other times, you can read her biography on the “About” tab on this blog  !  I’d love some plots for her, so feel free to hmu here or on Discord and let’s plot  !  TW: Death, cancer
BACKGROUND
Eden’s mother, Tracy Abbott, had an affair with a married Devil’s Disciple when she was eighteen. The man’s name was Samuel Monroe, but since he was married when Tracy found out she was pregnant with Eden, she didn’t tell a soul who the father was, in order to not break up Samuel’s family.
Tracy was kicked out of her mother’s house, as soon as the woman found out she was pregnant. So there was no contact between them when Eden was growing up.
For the first four years of her life the mother and daughter lived at the Highway Motel, where Tracy worked.
They later got a really small apartment, but it was all Eden’s mother could afford. Because although she worked two jobs, having a kid costs money, but Tracy never once resented Eden. She was her little miracle. The two grew a close bond which lasted through everything.
At Eden’s twelfth birthday party, Tracy’s mother appeared and practically begged to be allowed to be apart of Eden and Tracy’s life. Tracy eventually allowed it, but only after she made her mother promise to be a constant in their lives, and not to wig out again.
After their family reconciliation, Tracy and Eden moved in with Eden’s grandmother in a house in Charming. The three of them became a close family, all of them spending a lot of time at the family owned salon, Curly Bops.
As Eden grew up she became increasingly curious about who her father was, but her mother shut her down time and time again, eventually leading to an argument where Tracy asked Eden to never bring up her father again.
At twenty-four, Eden was working at Curly Bops as a hairdresser full time and being prepared to take over. When her grandmother died of old age and left everything she owned to her only child, Eden was forced to step up even more and learned more about the business aspect of things.
About a year ago her mother was diagnosed with cancer, and Eden was there for her until her last breath. Tracy Abbott passed away two months ago.
Having lost the only family she ever knew, Eden has felt alone ever since.
When clearing out her mother’s things from their shared family home, Eden found a letter her mother had written for her years prior, letting her know that her father was Samuel Monroe of the Devil’s Disciples and explaining the whole story.
This came as a shock to say the least, since Eden had heard about Samuel’s death. Even worse was the fact that she was close to Samuel’s son, Casey James otherwise known as CJ Monroe.
Being close to her half-brother without knowing he was her half brother, Eden’s currently struggling to figure out how to tell him and his siblings that they’re her half-siblings.
PERSONALITY
Eden used to be a very outgoing and social person, fond of parties, getting dressed up and having a good time.
But since her mother’s death, she’s pulled into herself increasingly more. She feels very alone, despite having friends in Charming.
Eden is good with her hands and enjoys all sorts of beautification things, such as hair, make up, fashion and hair, even going as far as sometimes sewing her own clothes.
Usually very friendly and prone to giving second and even third chances to people who don’t deserve them. But once she has enough, she’s very hot-tempered and will give you hell.
She cares deeply whenever she cares for someone, whether it be as a friend or something more.
Is bitter that CJ and his siblings got to grow up with a dad, while she didn’t. Is also bitter that they have each other while she’s alone.
CONNECTIONS
LIFELONG FRIENDS  —  Someone who’s lived in Charming all or most of their life. If they’re around Eden’s age, they could’ve even attended high school together. I see this as like friends who Eden could share her deepest secret with.
CUSTOMERS  —  People who come into Curly Bops to get their hair done. Eden’s usually chatty when she’s working.
EX-FLING  —  Someone who Eden thought things might be getting serious with, but things ended badly and now they avoid each other.
EX-BOYFRIEND  —  She hasn’t had a boyfriend since her early twenties, so this could be someone who left town and came back or something else entirely. Whatever we come up with.
FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS  —  Someone who Eden feels attracted to and close to, but could never date. They’re friends first, everything else second.
DISLIKE  —  Someone who dislikes Eden or whom she dislikes. Can be for any number of reason. Let’s talk!
NEIGHBORS  —  Someone who lives next door to Eden’s grandmother’s house, which is now her house. Depending on their age, they could’ve been friends growing up too.
GOSSIP FRIENDS  —  Eden likes her share of gossip, so I imagine she and a few other girls or guys gather every now and then in a “book club” but it’s just an excuse to share gossip.
ANYTHING WE CAN COME UP WITH !!
