john bs storyline has rlly been by far the most compelling this season like the pain of finding your dad who you thought was dead and thinking that now everything will be better. everything will go back to normal. life can start again. only to realise that your dad is not the same person he was in your romanticised memories. that he’s not the same person you hero worshipped. that he’s only putting you through more pain. that he might actually be a bad guy. like GOD!

s3 jj is like one half goofy s2 jj, the other half angsty, troubled, action-star love interest. and it sucks!

s2 jj is like a chaotic, goofy dumbass who surprises people with his rare moments of brilliance but then trips over himself two seconds later while s1 jj is an unhinged, street savvy dumbass who runs on his own sense of (warped) logic and is such a loose canon that without his friends around keeping him in check he’d probably be in jail

ok so ive been watching a lil bit of s3 and im ngl it rlly does make s1 feel like a fever dream. like wtf was s1 jjpope on? i cant get over the fact that this season is like ‘well jj and pope have love interests now so every spare moment and little side quest has to have them paired with kie and cleo respectively’ but meanwhile pope and kie were love interests in s1 and yet at every opportunity pope was paired with jj?? even if it was a group scene, they’d still have jj and pope joking or bickering together, whereas those little moments are between jj/kie and cleo/pope now. like i just find it so funny that s1 jjpope followed the same structure that the shows romantic storylines follow.
