I hope we'll get more insights on Ever Corporation with the release of Chapter 9 and Sylus!! They seem to have a wiide network that ties with every plot line giving how they're pretty much aware of everything going on, from the existence of the backtrackers to lemuria heck even MC's reincarnation power! Their obsessive pursuit of immortality will probably eventually lead to earth's destruction and/or Philos' creation

I REALLY hope we're just reading too much into this bro because I would literally end everything if MC ends up being the cause of his death or something- but at the same time that 'Xavier surely will give her every bit of himself' does NOT spark any joy pls
