For my final, final outcome I took a image which I distorted using photoshop to make it look really wavey...
I then layered an image over the top which I made on photoshop and added eyes to jodie's arms. I copied the image so their was 3 of them and chnaged the view on them...
I quite like how this image has turned out. Next time I could maybe layer more things on top of it.
For my 4th outcome I experimented with mirrors and reflections...
I started off by taking this image of my sister with a makeup mirror and I opened the image on photoshop. Then I made the imade black and white and used the liquify tool and liquify the mirror. I used the shape tool to then add a faded red box of part of the image.
I really like the simplicity of this image, I think it looks really quirky!
For my 3rd final outcome I decided to experiment with our paranormal worlds which we made...
I started off by repeating the world multiverse for the background and addedsome ghost-like images in each corner. Then I layered my paranormal worlds and I think that this image has come out really nice and cool!
For my second final outcome I used the lasso tool and copy and pasted an image onto a blank black canvas. I worked really hard to try and get the space between them the same and once I had got it right I added the word multiverse down one side of both sections...
I really like how this image has turned out! I like the simplicity of it and I feel as though it's quite a strong image. Next time I could experiment with different saturations and shapes...
For my first final out come I worked on layering my images... I firstly, took this photo of chloe in the studio and opned it on photoshop and used the copy and paste guys to create a glitch effect to the image which I later blended down...
Then I used the lasso tool to cut round the image and open on a blank photoshop page, I repeated the word multiverse behind the image using a font I got from dafont.com.
Then I changed the visability on photoshop to make the top of the image dark but different and used a different visbility to a more inverted looking.
I really like how this image has turned out and I feel as though it looks really multiverse like!
My first image is a picture of my dog Scout by the beach. When I lived in Scotland we lived by the seaside and I took this picture when I was visitng a few months ago... I feel as though it supports the theme community well as our community was made up in a fishing village and the seaside was a big part of it. Scout loves the seaside and I love how this photo captures it beautifully.
COMMUNITY IMAGE 2
For my second image I decided to use this image of my little sister and the reflection of her eyes in the mirror. I think that this could represent the reflection of community. Almost everyone can see what you doing, and in a village community like mine everyone knows everything. So it's that constant feeling of everyone can see you and your reflection.
COMMUNITY IMAGE 3
For my 3rd community image I decided to use this photo I took of my grandad, and two younger brother and sister. To me a community is made up of lots of families and so this photo of my family captures the essence of community perfectly...
For my upcycled garment I decided to reinvent a pillow case into a top... I also made a black scrunchie to add to the look. I started by getting a white pillow case and cutting a kneck and arm holes in it and tying the tops of them to keep it together. Then I made rips in the bottom of the 'top' and tied them in little plats:)
I then curled my little sisters hair and paired the top and scrunchie I made with some checkered trousers and a under top.
I really like the outcomes of these photos I think they've come out really nicely.
I took this first image when I went to Lattitude music festival in 2019. It's of my little sister on one of my friends shoulders... I love how you can see people in the background and the sun beginning to set.
I took these images while I was in Tanzania on a 2017 school exchnage trip... I feel as though they capture community perfectly but community of a different culture.
Firstly, you have to create the poster design you want to animate on photoshop...
Then you go to 'window' then 'timeline'
and a bar pops up at the bottom of the page, where you need to change an option from 'create video timeline' to 'create frame animation' and then click on the option twice and the a frame should appear...
then, you have to add another frame and hide all the layers and then eveytime you add a frame you add the view of a layer...
Until, you have all of the layers on show and all of your frames done. You can then adjust the speed which you want each frame to be shown until your happy with you animation.
In order to be able to save the animation and upload it to tumblr you need to change the size of the image by going to 'image' then 'image size' and changing the resolution to 72.
Then go to 'file' 'export' then 'save for web (legacy..)' and make sure your saving it as a GIF. Then save it under want you want to call it and where you want to keep it!
Today I went for a walk around my village and took some panorama shots...
I firstly took this one of the fields out the back of my house... I was waiting all week to take these photos hoping for nice enough weather to take some good photos and I think it's really nice how bright the sky and grass look...
I took this one of some fields near my house when i went on a dog walk:)
I took this full panorama shot while I was walking through my village this morning...
I think that panorama shots are so cool and they are really good at capturing a whole image or whole landscape!
There are many designers who are making changes who are making changes to become more sustainable and better for the environment such as...
Stella McCartney
Stella McCartney launched her fashion house in 2001 and from the beginning has focused on eco-friendly fashion and is amazing at offering sustainable wardrobe alternatives. Some of the materials she uses are organic cotton, ethically sourced wool, recycled textiles while excluding fur and leather...
Stella McCartney is sustainable by respecting the planet and doing her best to source materials which are good for the environment! She is also known for how much she respects every member of her product chain... Stella's brand is known as a vegetarian brand which means she promotes cruelty free ways to treat animals and their habitats..
I think that Stella McCartney is a good example of having a sustainable fashion brand. From everything to the way she makes her clothes to the way she treats animals and people is incredible.
Sustainable fashion is the movement and process of fostering chnage to fashion products and the fashion system towards greater ecological integrity and social justice.
"'Sustainable fashion' refers to garments that have been made in a way which is mindful of the many environmental issues the fashion industry touches upon"
A positive of sustainable fashion is sustainable fashion brands focus on quality over quantity and by focusing on quality of work over quantity it reduces waste of clothing.
By shopping from brands which focus on sustainable products we are helping the enviroment by shopping from brands who are better for the enviroment which means clothing brands which aren't will inevitably produce less clothing, which is over all better for the enviroment.
I decided to make some panorama worlds out of photos I've taken in the studio with the jell lights...
I think this one looks really cool, the way that Chloe is positioned at the bottom of the circle and the red jells look really cool...
I then opened the photo on photoshop and turned up the hue/saturation and it made the image a really bright green colour. I think it's so cool how by playing with the hue and saturation of an image can make the image a completely different colour!
I also made this image of Chloe in the studio into a panorama world and once again the red jell lights which were on when I took this photo look really cool!
I also put this image into photoshop and played around with the hue/ saturation and this time I turned it down to make the image a purple/ pink colour... I think I prefer the vibrance of the green one however the pink it also really cool :)
