Zuri Zianna Ro'meave

• She/They

• Is the oldest

• Takes after Zane the most

• Is chill but assertive

• A bit of a chaotic creative soul, never staying on one project at once

• Biggest intrests are cosplaying, anime and fantasy books

• Was into vulture culture as a teen

• Was absolutely a warrior cats kid

• Lives the van life as an adult

• Has a degree in bio-chemistry cause she had a crush on Poison Ivy as a kid

Nate "Nathaniel" Zachary Ro'meave

• He/Him

• Middle child

• Extremly quite and shy especially as a child. Massive introvert

• Very gentle soul who mostly kept to his mother as a kid

• He's a painter to help express himself

• Has had anxiety for most of his life

• Got a degree in fine art

• Works as an independent artist as an adult (while fostering kittens)

• Designed Zuri's tattoos

• His family call him 'Nat' as a cutesy nickname

Nia Zavier Ro'meave

• She/Her

• Youngest sibling

• Absolute horror

• Shes bursting with energy and its difficult to calm her down

• She adores musicals and musical theatre especially (it was the only way to get to sit still as a kid)

• Shes really into gymnastics

• As an adult she auditions for minor roles in indie projects

• She loves romances the best

• She beat up Nate's bullies in school (she throws chairs)

• Shes very athletic

Casually remembering that time i got labelled an anti-Aarmau usurper in an Aarmau google + group (if anyone actually remembers when google + was a thing), after the owner randomly gave me leadership and i was promptly hacked and the whole thing deleted by an actual Anti-Aarmau. (I was 12)

And thats where the post was meant to end with me going to get a screen shot of the exchange cause i still had the chat, only to see that the person who called me anti-Aarmau has changed their email to aarmausucks@email redacted. I have gone back to this chat many times to look at this and havent noticed before. Truly a time to be alive.

Thought I'd make a dedicated post for the Polycule Map tm.

So full disclaimer, this shit would obviously not work in canon, but rare pairs are fun and intresting.

I have my own motivation for including a lot of these. I never really got the whole die-hard 'remain loyal at all times' belief in shipping culture (that often results in all the ship wars). Rather, i consider how much could be explored in characters individually, through the lens of a relationship, and speculate from there. Thats where i get most of my enjoyment out of shipping.

For example, I included Nana/Lucinda because their relationship has exsisted since diaries, has continued to exsist throught out mystreet, and shows various different sides to the characters we wouldn't necessarily see without that relationship exsisting. We see how Lucinda both attempts to ground Nana in the present moment, while also encouraging her quirks. How Nana can add a more feral flare to Lucinda's more planned and elegant shenanigans.

By contrast, (minor Zanevis neg incoming) i never really enjoyed Zanevis because the most common fan interpretation seemed to be a very aesthetic focused approch to the relationship. The suave 'lady killer' gets with the shy grumpy introverted emo. This isnt to dis anyone who likes it btw i just personally can't get it. Most fanfiction at the time of its height of popularity seemed to portray them out of character to try and fit them into these narrow character concepts, rather than use it as a chance to explore these characters from a new angle.

Overall I have a lot of thoughts on the pairings included, feel free to ask about them and my thoughts id love to get into a deep analysis about some of these. The only exception would be Gene/Garroth because thats in tribute to a friend of mine who loves it, so i included it cause i love him.

One thing about Zanechan/Zana that alot of people get wrong (including me in the past) is that Zane is always sweet on her and always gushing on her.

Lies.

He is the meanest mf to her ever, he thinks shes an absolute cringefail loser, and hes absolutely correct.

But he still does everything he can to make sure shes happy, cause although shes a girl failure, shes his girl failure.
