Episode 7: Bereft

Everyone forgot stuff, Nightingale falls into a mini coma due to her alter ego inside her head, apparently. Robin takes care of her and the others while aqua-dad is dehydrated.

BIAYLYA, September 4

00:16 EEST

Waking up in the middle of nowhere Robin and Nightingale look at eachother before standing up. They walk over to a small mountain of rocks and lean on it for support still feeling dizzy.

Robin looks up noticing an army truck driving towards their direction with men on the hood holding guns.

He then pulls Nightingale's arm and lept onto a rock and the two hide behind it looking at the car, along with the men, drive past them.

“Wonder what they’re doing here?”

"Uh better question what are we doing in Biaylya" Nightingale says then looks over His shoulder at the map. "In- September? what happened to march?" Nightingale says then looks at him. "I don't know but we should radio batman." He says tapping him com "Or not" he says remembering batman ordering radio silence.

The two flip off the rocks and land, looking around Nightingale notices a piece of cloth.

"Why does it have to be night!" Nightingale says whinning about it being so dark. "Hey don't worry You'll be fine." he says smiling, she smiles back standing closer. Robin laughs "what?" Nightingale says confused. "Was that just an excuse to be closer to me?" He says, while Nightingale just looks at him with a blank face before slapping his shoulder "No. Its cold and i don't like the dark" She says and he smilesas they walk further.

"Wish i could remeber why i put a GPS Marker here though" Robin says and see's a large metal box. He gets on the ground pulling Nightingale with him "Wha-" She is interupted bu his hand to her mouth. the two jump down and are about to see what the box acually was when four men with guns came from beneath the sand and speak some Biaylyian. Robin drops a smoke bomb, Nightingale takes out one kicking him in the face causing him to stumble back, she then glances behind her noticing a man charging towards her. she flips backwards landing on the man, smashing him to the ground knocking him out instantly.

A blur then flashes by snatching up the men's guns and weapongs throwing them in a pile. knowing who it is the two continue to fight alongside him, strangly to men get thrown back by an invisible force the two look up to see a green girl with red hair smiling.

"KF! Man it's a good to see a fimillar face!" Robin says high-fiving KF "hey Rob, Night. Memory loss?" Robins eyes widen "Same!" Nightingale and Robin exclaim.

"So were a team?" Robin says referring to the group "Mhm. The five of us and super boy"

Nightingale pulls out the cloth with the S symbol "This must be his" she says before handing it to M'gan.

"Yes! Did you see him?" Nightingale shakes her head "I think we did" Artemis says "Pfft some teammate he is, He attacked us." KF says.

"He didn't know who we are, I don't know who we are!" Artemis says to Wally.

"I remember Batman ordering radio silence, our team must work for him" Robin says

"Uh how do you know we don't work for my mentor?" KF says tapping his chest causing his black suit to turn yellow.

"Woah this is so cool" He says and keeps changing it "Quit touching yourself." The five are transported to a room with purple mirrors of past memories.

"I brought you into my mind to show you. But I need to open your mind to see the rest of our memories" M'gan says

"No way" Artemis says

"You need to hack our minds to find out what happened, go!" Robin says.

Both Artemis and Nightingale look worried causing KF to hold Artemis's hand and Robin looking at the two before holding Nightingales hand. "Yea ok" Nightingale says.

The last thing she sees is purple crystal walls and her face starring back at her with an evil grin.

Robin looks to his left seeing Nightingale pass out into his arms.

“Must have been too much for her to handle.” Robin says picking her up holding on to her tightly.

“M’gann call the ship.” He says looking down at Nightingale moving hair from her face looking at her domino mask.

The ship arrives and robin places her on a bed made by M’gann, he hooks her up to a machine to make sure everything’s ok, and it is.

He takes a seat next to her waiting for his team to arrive safely.

Robin awakes to aqua lad telling him to wake up. He looks around and sees nightingale asleep and well.

“She’ll be ok robin.” Aqua lad says

M’gann walks over to Nightingale with a perplexing look on her face. Robin raises an eyebrow but says nothing.

M’gann places her hand on Nightingales head causing M’gann’s eyes to turn white, seconds later M’gann’s eyes turn red and she rips her hand away.

“What’s wrong?” Super boy asks.

“There. There’s someone else in there. Being in there for too long… I felt it was draining me or my powers” M’gann replies with sitting down at the bio shop pilot spot slightly faint.

They proceeded to get back to the cave.

Robin picks up Nightingale again taking her back to the manor, and into her bedroom. Putting her to bed and standing at her door way.

“What are you not telling me?”

Episode 6: Infiltrator

Wally’s got school, sucks to be him. Everyone is having a great time at the beach. We meet a new recruit, our favourite female archer. Got bad robotic gas and saving a sassy doctor.

MOUNT JUSTICE August 8,

09:58 EDT

Seagulls flying through the air. The sun shunning down reflecting off the blue waves crashing Against the shore.

M'gan and Nightingale are running ahead of the boys in their swim suits

"Hello M'gan, we should hit the beach everyday!"

"Yes we should!" Nightingale says

Robin puts his hand in-front of the too girls

"First a moment of silence for our absent comrade" robin then puts his hand to his face looking up y/n.

"Poor Wally" the too girls say in sync

The group set up a Volleyball net and play a few rounds and stop a little while after.

They all then start to cover super boy in sand making a mini mount justice on his chest while he's just laying there with sunglasses on.

Robin and Nightingale are laying on the sand together talking about random things, when M'gan and super boy thought it was the best opportunity for a prank.

They spoke to Aqua lad and he moved the water into there buckets and he grabbed his own all three of them walking over to the too throwing the bucket of water at the too.

The too jump up in surprise

"Aw your holding hands!" M'gan says and the too turn red and yank their hands away

"Their literally the meaning of 'love birds'"

Robin and Nightingale look at each other smirk and grab a bucket of water each throwing the water all over the three.

Y/N's POV

We all get in side and here a beeping, all of us look to the zeta tube

"The wall man is here! Now let's get this party star-" gets interrupted by himself falling over his beach umbrella.

Everyone stairs at him

"OOF" I say.

"Wall-man huh? Woah love the uniform, want exactly are your powers"

The girl named Artemis says

"Uh who is this?" Wally asks

"Artemis, your new teammate" she says

"Kid Flash. never heard of you" Wally says

"Uh she's my new protégé" Green Arrow says and I smile and wave, I recognise her. One of my closest friends.

"Wait what happened to your old one?" Wally says

"Recognised speedy b-06" the zeta tube says as Roy walks in

"For starters I don't go by speedy anymore, call me red arrow" Roy says

"Roy you look" Green arrow starts

"Replaceable" Roy says

"It's not like that you told me you were going solo"

"So why waist time finding a sub. Can she even use that bow"

Artemis walks forward "yes she can"

"Wait who are you?" Wally asks Artemis

"I'm his niece"

"She's my niece" they say at the same time

"Another niece? Knowing that they were in no way related" I say.

The team talk about a doctor that needs protection and robin pulls up some information on her.

"Nano robotics expert and disappeared two weeks ago" robin says

"Abducted two weeks ago by the league of shadows" Roy says

"Woah we get to rescue her from the shadows" robin says

"Hardcore!" Wally says.

"I already rescued her. Only one problem they got her to make a weapon, doc calls it the fog"

"Sounds like something the shadows would do" Artemis says.

"Like you know anything about the shadows" Wally says

Artemis just Blankly stairs at him

"Who are you?!" He says.

"Anyway. She's working on a way to destroy it"

Roy says

"Wait if the shadows know she can do that-" I get interrupted by Roy

"They'll target her. My jobs done" and red arrow leaves.

"Everyone online?" M'gan asks us

"Ugh this is wired" Artemis says,

"And distracting now I have to hear teen think in my skull" The doc says

"Lady do you always complain when someone try's to help you?" KF says

"Pot, kettle have you met?" Artemis says

"Hey I don't need attitude from the newbie who threw Red Arrow off the team" KF says

"Wally watch your mouth" I say

"Ok 'mum'. Geez" he says

"That's not on me he left the team" Artemis says

"Uh rest of the world at stake here" the doc says

"She started it" KF says

"I'm going to go help miss Martian and super boy patrol the perimeter, Nightingale lunch at mine later?" Artemis says leaving the room

"I'd love to, tell your mum I say hi" I say

"Cut her some slack it was her arrow that saved your ass against Amazo" Robin says

I walk over to the window and sit on the windowsill looking at the starts managing to block out everything around me.

Robin comes over the window leaning on it.

"You ok?" He asks

"Yea I'm fine just looking at the stars. Look at the moon it's gorgeous" I say gesturing to the moon shining down on the water outside

Unbeknownst to Nightingale he was looking at her

"She is gorgeous" he realise what he said

"It!- it's gorgeous" Rob corrects himself

"Aww!" M'gan says.

"M'gan reconfigure the bio ship so Robin, Nightingale and Super Boy to find the fog"

Aqua Lad says

"It's ready" M'gan says

The three of them run out and into the ship.

"Robin to Aqua Lad we're over Philadelphia, we've located the next target star labs. We're to late it's destroyed" Robin says

"Totally destroyed" I say

"The fog decimated it. This is bad star labs have cutting edge technology now their secrets are in the hands of the enemy" Robin says

What's our next move?" I say.

"Next target is Wayne tech! I'm Theory it could be used to hack the-" i stop myself

"The what?" Super boy asks me

"Doesn't matter. What matters is that Wayne tech works a 24 hour work force well never evacuate the building in time" I say.

The fog gets released

"Crap! No!" Robin yells the to of us grapple into the building.

"Hey you too can't come in here. Unauthorised entry" the guard says

"Wayne code Y/f/iW3" I say and the two of us roll under the gate. Running down the huge hallway.

We make it to a lunch room

"What's going on? What are you doing?" That lady at the counter says.

"Please be connected to the main frame!" Robin says hacking into the computer we turn around an watch the once black fog Turn red.

"Yes! The infiltrated has been out filtrated" I say then the too of us fist bump.

Later when the team had got back to the cave Artemis, M'gan and Nightingale were in civilian clothes hanging out is M'gan's room at the cave.

"So M'gan. You and super boy?" Artemis says to her causing M'gan to go red.

"Maybe- I- What about night and Rob!" M'gan says directing Artemis's question to Nightingale

"So what is it with you to?" She asks

"Uh well we met a few years ago When dad found him and uh yea we became friends"

Nightingale says

"Yea. Your definitely going to start Dating soon" she said

"No we're not he doesn't like me like that" She says

The too girls look at her dumbfounded.

“Yeaaa, right”

Episode 5: Schooled

We visit Y/N and Dick’s school, super boy doesn’t like monkeys and Robin continues to mess up the English language.

MOUNT JUSTICE August 3,

13:06 EDT

Kaldur looses a game of air hockey against Wally and Robin, M'gan and I are watching and we hear the zeta tube.

"Hi super boy how was metropolis?" M'gan asks but he walks past her

"Ready for training everyone?" I know that voice!

"Aunt Dinah!" I say

"Hey birdie" she says hugging me but she winces slightly when my arm brushes past her shoulder.

"Aunt?" M'gan asks

"Not biological" I say and M'gan hugs her uncle

"Stick around, class is in session" Black Canary says to super boy

She walks into the middle of the glowing spot in the cave

"I consider it an honourable aspect to be your teacher, I'll teach you everything I've learnt from my mentors. And my own bruises"

"Wait what happened with to your arm?" I say in worry for my aunt

"Not important birdie, I'm fine" she says before continuing

"Now let's do this. I'll need a sparring partner"

Wally's hand shoots up

"Yup, right here" and he walks over to Black Canary

"After this I'll show you some of my moves" I grimace in disgust muttering ew

"What?" Robin asks

"Dude that's my aunt. My friend is flirting with my aunt" I say

"Ok fair enough" he says

Black Canary smirks she punched his forearm, intending for him to block which he did and so she swept him off his feet causing him to fall to the ground.

"Ow- uh it hurts so good" Wally says

"Mhm ok but did anyone see what he did wrong?"

Robin raises his hand

"Oh oh, he hit on teacher and got served" he says causing me to stifle a laugh.

"Dude?" Wally says annoyed

"He allowed me to dictate-" Canary gets cut of by super boy

"Oh please. With my powers the battles always on my terms. I'm a living weapon and this is a waste of my time."

Canary smirks once again

"Prove it" having said that Wally backs up of the battle ground as to avoid getting hit.

Super Boy goes for a punch but gets it thrown by Canary

"Hahaha" both robin and I start laughing but get judged by Aqua Lad and we turn around with out hands over our mouths to stop laughing.

"Your angry. Good, control that into-" she gets interrupted by super boy going for another punch and she sweeps him off his feet.

And Rob starts laughing again. Still lightly chucking I slightly slap his shoulder.

"That's it I'm done" super boy says

"This is mandatory" Canary says

"Batman to cave 5 hours ago a new menace attacked green arrow and Black Canary"

I look to my aunt and she gives me a reassuring smile

"That attacker is studying and duplicating its opponents abilities, arrow called im reinforcements nearly proving disastrous"

Wally speaks up

"Woah one guy with all the powers of the entire league"

"An android, made by the TO Morrow?" I say

"Good guess, Nightingale" Batman says before continuing

"You will be spilt into teams to safe guard the two good trucks"

We all run out of the cave to the motorbikes

We're all on our respective motorbikes.

Robin, Super Boy and I drove off behind the first truck.

"Hey Night. If dislike is the opposite of like is disaster the opposite of aster? see instead of going wrong they go right." Robin says

"Yea in a sense I guess so" I say

"Clearly your not feeling the aster, what's wrong?" I say to super boy

"Canary. I mean what business does she have teaching combat skills To a guy with super strength" he said

This isn't about Canary it's about super mam.

"Fighting against stronger guys is apart of the gig, Canary learned that the hard way same as Batman, and well Nightingale and I" Robin says to super boy.

Super Boy revs his motorbike driving ahead

"Geez nice chat" Robin says

"It's not Canary that's the problem. It's Super man not training him" I say in a private com.

"He nods and we stay in a comfortable silence minus the Motorbikes and wind.

"Robin, Nightingale, super boy out truck is under attack" we bear in our coma

"Yea we kinda figured" robin says looking forward to see the robotic monkeys on the truck.

"Robot monkeys! Haha totally Ivo's style" both robin and I switch our motorbikes to battle mode

"Theres no point" super boy says jumping onto the truck and pushing his bike and the bike flings towards robins bike causing him to have to jump off and grapple onto the truck.

I send my bat drone helping the too by throwing most of the robot monkeys off.

"Do you to need some help up there?" I say into the com

"No, stay down there we got this." Robin says

The too keep fighting the bots while I trail behind using my bat gun to shoot most of the robots off.

I see Robin jump off

And super boy follows the monkeys

"Super boy!" Robin yells to no avail

"We lost our cargo did-" Aqua Lad gets cut of on the com by robin.

"It's gone, and so is super boy"

"So, you got this do ya Rob?" I say smiling

He glares

"Come on. Get on here" he jumps on the back of my motorbike and we ride off to get robins bike and meet with KF.

GOTHAM CITY August 3,

21:21 EDT

Robin and I are on our bikes while KF follows behind

"You changed to?" Robin asks KF

"Pfft yea I feel naked in civi clothes" he reply's with

"Where could they be heading?" Robin asks referring to the monkeys with the cargo

"Their at our school!" I say

We get to the school and into the gymnasium

The android is built and they’re ready to attack us.

"Access Martian Manhunter" and he fades through the Bat-a-rang thrown by robin.

"Access Red tornado" he creates a tornado smashing the boys and I against the bleachers.

"Access black canary" he says and attempts so scream at me. I flip over the android sticking a bomb to his mouth and when it explodes it affects his mouth.

I then grapple back to the boys and land looking at the android.

"Ah so the girl knows what she's doing I see. Trained by THE Batman. BUT, you've never met your mother.. have you?" Ivo says

My head perks up towards him.

'How would he know that' I thought to her self

"Who is she, do you know her?! Answer me!" I yell running towards him with a a bomb.

"Access the flash" I turn to my left and get punched across the room.

-3rd person-

KF gets flung across the floor and the android picks him up squeezing him, then a green arrow gets shot through the air to the android causing the android to fade through it and drop KF.

Robin looks at the arrow and tucks it in a compartment in his utility belt.

"Access super man" and the androids eyes light up and is about to shoot Robin.

Nightingale jumps in pushing him down and out of the way causing the two to slide and bump into the wall.

"Ouch" nightingale mutters

"Mhm, thanks" and he smiles at her

"Great, super boys gone ballistic again" KF says

"Maybe not" robin says watching super boy attempt to attack Ivo

"Amazo. Protect your master priority alpha"

Ivo said running away from super boy

"Anyone wanna play keep away?" Robin says kicking Ivo

"Me!" Nightingale and KF say in unison

The android looks at them "Martian man hunter"

The boys and Nightingale keep fighting until super boy punches the android in the face causing his head to blow up.

"Help me disassemble him" Robin yells running over to the android who's just laying on the Floor.

"Dude he's got no head." KF says

"Don't take any chances" Aqua Lad says entering the gymnasium.

"Super boy" M'gan says holding his arm helping him up

"I'm fine M'gan" he says smiling at her

"Aw how cute it that" Nightingale says to Robin

"Feeling the aster" super boy and Nightingale say In sync

"Jinx!" Nightingale says

The team look at her smiling, M'gan chuckling.

"Wait where's Ivo" Nightingale says and she walks away from the group in thought

How did he know about my mother?, dad won't even tell me anything about her. I'll guess I'll have to find out On my own.

Nightingale looks back to her team. smiling at all of them.

A little help wouldn't hurt

She thinks as she walks toward her teammates leaving the school but not before passing the lockers that got destroyed.

"We got the android pieces safe again at star labs" Aqua Lad says to Batman

"Capturing Ivo will be a league priority" Black Canary says and notices Nightingale stiffen when she mentions it being a league priority.

"It's always ok to ask for help that why we have the league, there's problems even we can't handle" Batman says

"Please. We wouldn't even get the chance to call for help." Robin says pulling out the arrow he stored away earlier.

"This look familiar. you were following us, babysitting you still don't trust us" he continues with.

Green arrow pulls out his arrow and compares it to the arrow robin handed him.

"We didn't follow you" Batman says

Nightingale places her hand on Robins shoulder and speaks.

"And that's not his arrow, but that means. Roy's back!"

"Speedy!" KF says

"Yes he has out backs" Aqua Lad says

KF takes the arrow.

"Souvenir!" He says

GOTHAM CITY August 4,

Y/N walks around the manor looking at the flowers in the garden.

And she hears footsteps behind her so she snaps her head behind her only to see Dick.

"What are you doing out here. It's so cold" he says, placing his jacket around her.

Y/N looks to a flower in her hand and says

"Remember how I told you I've never met my mum" she says

"Yea. You told me after I told you what happened to mine" he says sitting next to her

"Yea well I want to find her. Ask one question I've wanted to ask her forever."

"And that is?" He says

She hesitates but continues to speak

"Why did she leave me? Throw me away. Dump me on dad."

Robin places his hand on hers.

“We’ll. You can count on me to help you find her”

Episode 4: Drop Zone

Wally and Robin argue over the role of leader, Kobra venom? Nightingale has some questionable conversations with herself, and recognises her friends father. Not a good guy.

CARIBBEAN SEA July 22

20:08 ECT

"We're approaching Santa prisca"

Hearing that I think back to what dad said about this mission

"Santa prisca. the entire nation is the reason for a dangerous illegal neo steroid a strength enhancing steroid"

He then he proceeded to tell us the rest of the information

"Who's in charge?" Robin asks

"Work that out between you"

.

"What are you smiling at?" I whisper to Robin

"Nothing" he says with slight glee in his tone

"Do you think I'd make a good leader?" He asks me

"Of course you would" I say then look to wards Kaldur. I then turn around.

"Drop Zone A" Aqua Lad stands up pressing the logo on his suit causing it to turn 'stealthy'

"Ready" he says

"Putting Bio ship into camouflage mode" Miss Martian says.

Then Aqua Lad jumps out of the ship into the water.

"Drop Zone B" M'gan says and hooks fall from the roof the boys and I excluding super boy hook up and land on the ground silently.

As we land we all jump in opposite directions of avoid getting hit by super boy crash landing to the ground.

"Knew I didn't need a line" super boy says and smirks

"And yet creating a Seismic event might not help us much with the covert mission”.

"Aqua Lad drop zone B is done" M'gan says into the ear piece.

"Roger that" Robin says and we all run forward.

Robin and I hop onto a rock and keep walking forward and he checks his Holo glove showing red dots, a lot of them.

"Yeah. No" I say

"Pfft come on what's the worst thing that could happen?" He says

I stare dumbfounded

"Uh- die?"

"I won't let that happen"

"C'mon" I say and we disappear into the shadows.

Gun shots can be heard and I think of the worst possible scenario.

"Night! Wait"

I jump from tree to tree and flip off to kick a guy in the face and Rob follows and lands next to me.

"What is wrong with you guys. Don't you remember covert why didn't you follow my lead, Vanish into the jungle."

"That's what you were doing? Way to fill us in we're not mind readers you know, or At least I'm not" KF says

Aqua Lad shows up kicking a guy down

"I recognise these uniforms they belong to the cult Cobra."

"Batman should have told us about that"

"Agreed and since there's no love lost, I'm betting cobra came to knock them out" Robin says

"We get it, mystery solved-" KF gets interrupted by Robin

"No- there holding this stuff. We don't leave not until I know why." He says

"Until you know why?" KF says

"This team needs a leader" Robin says in a louder tone clearly getting mad.

"And it's you, dude your a 13 year old kid who ducked out on us at the word."

Robin laughs "and your a mature 15?"

"You'd be to busy sucking face with you know who, then being a good leader!"

I ignore the idiotic argument their having and look over to M'gan and Super Boy and see that there having a little moment and I start smiling At the too.

"Yea you don't even have super powers" KF says the two clearly still arguing

"Neither does Night or Batman" Robin says

"Yea, but your not Night your also not Batman" KF says

"I'm the closest thing we've got to Batman" Robin says

“That’s true you know”

“What is?” Robin looks at NG confused but says nothing.

“He’s the closest thing to the big bats. You’ll never be on your fathers league”

I look down to the floor, she’s right. I know she’s right.

Then a man with a white and black mask starts laughing at the boys stupidity.

"Haha such clever niños, but you only know Half the story. Let me show you the rest, get you into the factory by my secret entrance"

He says

I stand in between KF and Rob to let them cool off while M'gan try's to read the man's mind.

"Ah-ah-ah chica bane is not that easy"

"Ugh he's reciting football scores and Español, this could take a while." M'gan says And the boys look to each other then me and M'gan.

Bane leads us to the edge of a mountain Robin pulled out binoculars

"Look at all that product, the buy is going down"

"We need to identify them"

“You are no help to this team”

"Just what I was thinking- heh night are you ok? Your being kinda quite"

I look up to KF

"Oh yea sorry just got some stuff on my mind"

“Shut up.” I mutter to myself, or whoever is in my head.

"But yea Aqua Lad that's what I was thinking"

"Yea your the thinker" Robin says

"Dude."

Bane leads us into a mining tunnel

"Now he's our leader?" Robin walks past him punching KF

Next thing we know we make it into a factory I look out the door and see nobody

"All clear" I say

And we all exit the room and robin runs off

"Has that little guy got caught?" Bane says

"No he just does that, usually Nightingale goes with but I guess not" Aqua Lad says looking at me

"Don't look at me I don't know where he went"

"Doesn't matter I'll get the intel before boy wonder" KF says running off

I watch him run off and it's quiet until robin jumps down on a wire grabbing me and pulling me up onto a platform.

"Why didn't you follow me?"

“Means, do your Godamn job and follow behind me.”

"Sorry I didn't know you wanted me there or if I was going to be any use"

"Of course I wanted you- there I wanted you there, and duh you are so useful"

“Useless.”

I laugh it off before we get to a security room and I see a guy sitting a chair using a computer, Rob was about to do something but I put my hand in front of him.

"I’ll handle it” I walk over silently and knock him out.

Rob walks over smiling at me and shoves the guy out of the chair and I chuckle thinking it was kinda funny.

I walk over the desk sitting on it and Rob starts doing his thing on the computer.

"Our mystery buyer must also be the supplier, using a cult to make a blockbuster super formula. Robin to Aqua Lad we got- uhh static"

"Let's get out of here"

We get out of the room and we're standing on a bridge while KF runs over to help Aqua Lad and robin smirks and walks off.

I start fighting members of the cobra cult running behind robin so no one follow us.

"Everyone online?" M'gan asks

"Yea"

"You know it"

"Mhm"

"Kinda busy"

Me and Robin get outside and hear

"Batman must be petty desperate if he has to send his welps to this task"

"What's wrong you look disconcerted"

"Shimmer get them!" We look at each other I flip over and he rolls under as we are about to start fighting we hear.

"Nightingale, Robin Now!"

We through a stun grenade And disappear.

I swing with my grappling hook

"Geez that chick looked weird" I say

"Yup!" Rob says

We all run out of the factory. And into the mining tunnel again.

The tunnel starts to collapse and we start running.

Aqua Lad managed to get a flare and crack it lighting up the area and Robin says

"How could my first mission as leader go so wrong" he says to me everyone overhearing

"You do have the most Experience, but perhaps that's exactly why we weren't prepared. you both are with Batman you are defined you three do not need to talk but this team is new and a leader must be clear" Aqua Lad says

"Oh so I'm supposed to hold everyone's hand!, ugh..."

He looks at me then back to Aqua Lad

"Who am I kidding you should lead us kaldur"

"Your the only one who can" I add on glad that we could come to an agreement.

"Hey! I can run circles-"

"Wally c'mon you know he's the one we all do" I say

"Hello M'gan its so obvious"

"Ok" KF says I tap Rob on the shoulder as some sort of comfort and leave to talk to M'gan

"You or Nightingale were born to lead this team maybe not now, but soon" Aqua Lad says

"Yea Rob you'll do great but for now just be the mysterious guy who disappears randomly" I say chuckling At the name

"Ok our first priority is to make sure that shipment doesn't leave this island." Aqua Lad says

"Funny I had the same thought" Rob says

We got stopped because bane was not letting us pass and had explosives on the outside of the cave.

Wally rushes by, grabbing the remote

"What are you gonna use to detonate them?" He says only to continue

"This thingy?" He says holding it up

Super Boy punched his face and we all ran to the helicopter. KF takes some guys out so does super boy.

I use a net to detain shimmer

"You got him?" I ask Robin looking at the leader of Cobra

"Of course" he reply's with

"K good luck" and I run off to fight enemies

M'gan blows up the helicopter, and it crash's into the factory causing it to go up in flames.

I see Robin being held down and I say

"This mosquito is concerted over your pain" kicking him in the face.

The man stumbles back and looks up to see the rest of the team

"Another time then" the man says disappearing Into the jungle

I walk over moving the bushes to the side he's no where to be seen

"Dammit"

"We picked the right guy to lead" Robin says

"Automatically making you the guy who has to explain this to Batman" I say and we both walk off laughing.

After about an hour Y/N and Dick had got home. They were walking to their room's and on the way Y/N spoke.

"You doing ok?"

"Yea why wouldn't I?"

"Ya know today, you not being the leader. I know how much you want to be"

"Yea I know but Kaldur knows what he's doing"

The too look at each other for a bit before they look out the window closest to them looking out at the Moon.

Episode 3: Welcome to happy harbour

Miss M burnt her cookies, red tornados ‘playing pranks’ and Nightingale and Robin are getting shipped hardcore by the team. Roy’s still emo and alone, but we love that.

MOUNT JUSTICE

“Who ate my waffles!?” Wally says barging into the room interrupting the movie.

“No one Wally, your crazy. You never had waffles” I say keeping the straightest face possible. Truth is Robin and I ate them and put the movie half way to look like we were busy.

“Yup. You’re crazy Wally” Robin adds on.

“Of course you lie for your girlfriend” Wally says walking off to find Aqualad to complain probably.

“We’re not- we aren’t?” Robin says with bright red cheeks.

“NoOo we, we aren’t” I say looking anywhere but his face.

“Actually. Can we talk about-“ Robin gets cut off with Wally running into the room yelling.

“I GOT AQUALAD TO CHECK THE CAMERAS YOU BOTH TAG TEAMED IT!”

Aqualad walks in afterwards

“Honestly. I don’t really care” he says causing me to laugh. Man these guys are hilarious.

STAR CITY July 17

23:16 PDT

Two men open a crate, sliding doors open to reveal box's of equipment clearly not aware of their surroundings, until out of nowhere an arrow shoots from somewhere in-front of the men gassing them.

A man raises a gun getting ready to shoot the mysterious interference, speedy looks down at the man.

"You again!" The man clearly says agitated.

"I'm starting to get offended green arrow doesn't want to interfere personally" The man speaks before shooting his gun towards speedy, as the man shoots speedy avoids the bullets by a range of moves.

Then shooting an arrow at his gun destroying the gun. "Scorch him boys"

Kid Flash speeds in knocking the guns out of the mens hands.

After Kid Flash runs in Robin swings in throwing a bird-a-rang before leaping away Nightingale hops down kicking a man in the face and leaping off landing and sweeping two men off there feet knocking them out.

Aqua Lad then starts knocking out the few people left. The rest watch as Roy runs across shipping containers, the man throwing chunks of cement at him.

As the rock is about to hit speedy Aqua Lad dumps in slicing the rock. Aqua Lad starts speaking.

"The cave has everything you need"

"For covert missions" Robin says

"Spy stuff, ya know all the good stuff" Nightingale adds.

"Oh plus super boy and Miss Martian, also I saw her first" KF says.

"Seriously KF?" Nightingale says dead panning.

Then they all jump separate ways avoids rocks.

"Tell arrow he shouldn't send boys to do a man's job" Nightingale's head perks up.

"That man better hope she's in a good mood" Robin says looking towards Kid Flash.

"Eh probably not" Kid Flash says before they both look over to Nightingale and watch her use her grappling hook on to a block of cement and throws it full force at the man's head.

Speedy stabilised him and Nightingale knocked him out with the cement.

"Pfft a man's job, yea right" then she jumps and lands near the dude in smug.

The white of robins mask wides and Kid flashes jaw dropped and ran of to stand next to the two and robin leaped off the container.

"Nice" Kid Flash said to Nightingale fist bumping her which she returns.

"So you in?" Robin asks speedy.

They look at speedy waiting for an answer.

"Pass, I'm done letting the league tell me what to do, I don't need a babysitter or a house hangout with the other kids, your junior justice league is a joke" speedy says

Y/N looks down at that answer hoping it would have been something different, then speaks.

"You don't wanna be apart of a team? All of us working together to get the bad guys?"

"No, I don't want any part of it"

"But Roy-"

"Drop it Y/- Nightingale, just drop it"

He looks at the team before walking off into the shadows.

"Recognised robin B-01 KF B-03 Nightingale B-02" We smile at each other before walking in.

"Did you ask him?"

"Is he on his way?"

The three of us say at the same time.

"He arriving now" Aqua Lad says

"Then what are we waiting for?" Wally says

The three boys run off and I smile at M'gan and super boy then walk after them. The huge back passage way opens and red tornado flys down.

"Red Tornado!"

"Greetings, is there a reason you intercept me outside the cave"

"We hoped you had a mission for us"

"Mission assignments are the Batman's responsibility"

"But its been over a week and-"

"You'll get one soon enough, for the time being enjoy each other's company"

"This team is not a social club"

"No, I'm told socialising is an important team building exercise perhaps you can keep each other company by familiarising yourselves with the cave"

"Does he think we're falling for this?" Robin says

"Oh! I'll find out.. uh I'm sorry I forgot he's a machine, inorganic, I cannot read his mind"

I saw a nice bird so I was looking at it, then another bird flew next to it and they nuzzled there heads together,they looks so peaceful yet so worries for the others safety.

My thoughts are interrupted by a buzz from my phone.

From dick? I look to my left and he smiles holding his phone, I open the text.

I look up from my phone feeling it buzz a few times before putting it in the back pocket of my jeans.

I look to Rob and see him frowning I giggle and shake my head before looking to Wally who's leaning closer to M'gan.

"Can you guess what I'm thinking right now?"

I walk over to him and smack him is the back of his head lightly but still.

"We all know what your thinking" Robin says

"And now we tour the club house" Aqua Lad says.

"Well super boy and I live here we can play your guides" M'gan says and we look to super boy.

"Don't look at me" super boy said

"Private tour sounds fun" Wally says.

"She never said private tour idiot, don't mind him M'gan" I say and we all walk in.

Robin and I look at each other and nod both of us grab one of Wally's arms and pull him back on to the floor before we speed up to the group and Wally's on the floor.

M'gan shows us all around the cave, the group were talking about the cave when M'gan said

"If villains know about the cave we must be on high alert"

Robin grabs M'gan's hand

"The bad guys don't know we know so we're safe here" M'gan looks to me and takes her hand away from robin and Wally takes his place.

I looks towards M'gan

"hey" I start freaking out hearing M'gan's voice in my head.

The feeling causes a pang of pain.

"I can communicate with people telepathically." She says

"Oh it’s just you! That’s really interesting M’gann" I say before she starts speaking again.

"So Robin huh?" She says

"what no we're good friends that's all." I say before she smiles and says

"we can talk more about this later they might think it's weird we're so quite."

I nod and we look back to the boys.

"Uh he means we're hiding in plain sight" Wally says.

"Oh that's so much clearer" M'gan says

Super boy starts sniffing the air?

"I smell smoke" He says

"Oh no Night our cookies." She flys off and I follow behind her. Ignoring that I almost tripped over air.

M'gan opens up the oven to reveal burnt cookies

"Oh M’gann, I’m sorry I put the heat to high" I say

"Of course you did" Robin says and smiles slinging his arm around my shoulder.

"Hey, I bet they would've tasted great, he doesn't seem to mind"

We look to Wally watching him eat the burnt cookies

"I have a serious metabolism" he Replies with

"We'll make more?" M'gan says

"Honestly Wally, keep eating stuff like that and your going to get sick" I say

"Pfft don't even worry about it n/n" Wally says

"N/n?" M'gan asks, Robin and I glare at Wally

"Dude!" We both say

"It was sweet of you to make any"

"Thanks"

"Thanks Aqua lad" M'gan says

"We're off duty call me Kaldur'am"

"Agreed" Robin says

"Mines no secret it's M'gan M'orz but you can call me Megan it's an earth name and I'm on earth now"

“I think M’gann sounds like an awesome name” I say smiling.

M'gan starts to stare at super boy then out of no where-

"Get out of my head!" He yells

We all look to M'gan and I hear her voice in my head.

'What's wrong? I don't understand this is how everyone communicates on mars'

"M'gan stop" Kaldur says

"Things are different here on earth, your powers are and invasion of privacy."

"P.S the Genomes at Cadmus left a bad state In his brain" Wally adds on

"I-I didn't mean to-" she was interrupted by Super Boy

"Don't. Stay out" Super Boy leaves and we all look to M'gan.

Then she slaps herself in the forehead

"Hello M'gan, I know what we can do" and she flys out, the three boys and I look to each other and Robin shrugs and we all walk up to follow her.

"Wait where did M'gan go" I ask Rob

"Went back for Super Boy I think" he answers

"Oh yea-" As I am about to finish my sentence I trip over my stupid shoelace, From behind me I hear Robin laughing causing Wally to start laughing.

Still laughing slightly Rob walks over to me and grabs my hand to help me up.

"How dare you both laugh" I say huffing and turning around to not face the two boys hunched over laughing.

I walk over to Kaldur to get away from them

"Hey Kaldur"

"Hello Nightingale, are you ok? That was quite the fall" he smiles

"Yes I'm fine but those to idiots won't stop laughing at me" I point to the two laughing on the floor.

I look at them and start remembering something from when me and Dick were little.

"Miss Y/N, your father would like to see you down stairs"

"Okay Alfred!" I say walking out of my room and see the huge stairs so I slide down the rim  and land.

"Y/N" I hear my father say, I look up to see my father, and a boy?

"This is Richard, he's going to be living with us, you'll make him feel at home won't you?"

"Yes daddy!" I walk over to the boy slightly taller than me

"Come with me" I say smiling

"We can play with my toys" he looks at my hand and back at me I smile again and he takes my hand.

"O-ok" he says quietly

"Yay!" And I lead him to my room

"Bye daddy, bye Alfred" I say and we walk into my room and sit near my toy box.

"My names Y/N, your name's Richard right?" 

"Yea but you can call me dick"

"Alrighty, here you can be the dude in distress and I'll be your hero!" I say passing him a blue cape.

"Ok.."

"Daddy and Alfred can be the baddie's c'mon!" We leave the room and Dick sits on a couch being surrounded by Alfred and I say.

"Stop right there evil doer's!" Alfred smiles at the cuteness of the child, then daddy jumps in front of me.

"Careful hero, any closer and the cookie prince is gone." Daddy says

"Let him go or I'll use my super hero moves to defeat you!" I say

He doesn't move so I slide under him and tap Alfred with my plastic bat-a-rang and throw one at daddy.

"Sir are you ok?" I say in a deep voice

"Mhm Thank-you" dick says and we start running around giggling and I pass him some of my plastic gadgets and we play hero's and villains laughing and enjoying our selves

I was so happy

Coming back from my flashback the boys have stopped laughing and we all head to the elevator

"My Martian bio ship" M'gan says and we all walk over to the red oval shaped ship.

"Cute. Not Arrow dynamic, but cute"

"It's at rest silly, I'll wake it" she taps the ship and it enlarges

"Sweet!" I say

"Well, are you coming?" We all walk over to the ship

"Strap in for launch" robin, Wally and I look at each other and run to a seat in the ship I sit in front of robin.

After we're in the air robin says

"Incredible"

"Mhm she sure is- I mean the ship which like all ships is a she" Wally responds with

"Fast with his feet not so much with his mouth" I say

"Dude!"

Me and Robin look to super boy then M'gan

"He'll come around" Robin says

"Just give him some time" I say smiling

"Thanks but he doesn't seem to like me" M'gan says disappointed.

"You guys remember he has super hearing right?" Wally whisper shouts

"Oh my gosh, thanks Sherlock Holmes" I say in a sarcastic tone, robin chuckles at that.

"Hey how about you show us some Martian shape shifting?" Robin says

M'gan gets up changing her look into a- female robin? My jaw dropped

"that's hot" I say before asking a question

"Wait M'gan can you do me in robins suit?"

"Sure can" she says changing into me with Robs suit

I turn around to see Rob red in the face which makes me turn red so we both turn away. Weird.

"Red tornado to miss Martian, mission alert has been issued at a power plant, I suggest you investigate, sending coordinates now"

A huge tornado crashes into us moving us the wrong way but M'gan is able to land the ship.

Robin looks at me and I nod and we vanish into the shadows but not before laughing his famous laugh.

"Goddamn you dumb Tin can" I say before getting blown back and flip off the wall avoiding getting smashed against the wall.

Looking to my left I see Rob get thrown to the wall smashing into it, I run over helping him up

"Who's your new friend" Super Boy says as he lands next to Robin And I

"Didn't catch his name!" I yell over the tornados coming from the machine that looks similar to red tornado.

"He plays kinda ruff!" Rob adds on.

"My apologies you may address me as Mr.Twister"

The team start to split each doing a different thing to try take this guy down.

Most of the team excluding Me and robin get thrown down to the ground

"I was prepared to be challenged by a super hero I was however not expecting children"

Twister striking a nerve in Rob.

"We're not children!" He yells and he throws bombs towards Twister

"You will fail just like the rest of your team. Now leave your presents is disturbing my plans"

"Well we hate to see you disturbed, let's see if your more turbed once we kick your can" Robin says using another one of his words that he made up.

We all get flung by the tornado Rob, Aqua Lad and I get thrown into each other causing a collision.

"Hey.. are you ok?" Rob says helping me up

"Yea let's go"

We all run towards where KF was after all the Team starts yelling at the tin can asking him why he's doing this and what he wants.

M'gan saved KF.

"M'gan read his mind" Aqua Lad says

"You said not to"

"It's ok with the bad guys" Robin says in a rush

"Hello Megan, Twister is Red tornado is disguise he's a inorganic android"

We all are super pissed thinking red tornado is playing a stupid joke on us.

"We know who you are and what you want" Robin says then a huge storm appears

"Can red tornado do that?" I ask

"You think I'm tornado?" Twister says almost laughing at the remark.

Super boy jumps up and attempts to punch twister but gets thrown to the ground.

I get him to throw me towards twister in attempts to get a bomb on his power source and I do and get thrown to the ground with the rest of my team everything going black due to the impact.

I get shook awake

"Wake up Night" Robin says and Super Boy starts yelling at M'gan.

"You tricked us into thinking Twister was red tornado!"

"She didn't do it on purpose" I say struggling to stand due to the pain on my back

"It was a mistake we shouldn't have listened to her" Robin says holding me up by my waist

"Hit the showers we'll take it from here. Night are you coming with us?" KF says

"Yea I'm coming, let's go" I say looking to M'gan with a sympathetic smile

I expect Robin to let go so we can follow KF but he looks at me for less than a minute in silence

"Uh yea let's go" he says and we run off to go help KF, Aqua Lad not far behind

Robin throws a bomb at twister and I mange to get a few bomb on him causing him to stumble.

Robin, KF and I are hiding behind a boat.

I pull out my utility belt and so does Rob

"You guys brought your utility belts?"

"Never leave home with out it first thing Batman taught me"

"Dad said I need to have it with me at all times" I say.

'All of you' I hear M'gan's voice in my head

'I have a plan'

Red tornado flys down

"Hit the showers kids, I was hoping you could handle this"

"But we have a plan now" robin says

"Go back to the cave" Red tornado says

And we walk off.

After getting the signal from M'gan everyone does there part of the plan KF starts to make tornados, super boy beating the android up throwing him to the water.

Aqua Lad from the water rips his arms off and throws the android back to land and M'gan holds him up in the air and Rob and I throw our bombs causing him to plummet to the ground.

We stand informer of twister and he opens up to reveal- a man?

"I-I call foul" the man says and M'gan telepathically picks up a rock ready to smash him.

"M'gan NO!" Aqua Lad yells and the boys were all shocked.

"Don't know how things are down on mars but on earth we don't execute our captives" Robin says not realising why she smashed the man.

I hit him on the shoulder

"How about you trust her Rob" I say

"Yea, you said you trust me" M'gan says

Robin looks at me confused as to why I would be ok with this till he turns around revealing the 'man' was a crushed android.

"That's why I couldn't read his mind, thanks for trusting me Nightingale" M'gan says

"No problem" I say smiling

Wally picks up the androids eye

"Cool, Souvenir!" He says

Rob pulls me to the side

"Sorry for not believing you or M'gan, I should've known you wouldn't be ok with that if there wasn't a reason." He says

"Heh your all red" I say smiling

"Oh yea?" He looked at me and pecked my cheek causing me to go bright red

"Who's all red now?" He says before slinging his arm around me leading me over to the group.

"M'gan, just ignore him we're just all turbed your on the team" Rob says to M'gan

"Thanks" M'gan says

We're all gathered around a table looking at the crushed android and analysing who he was and what he wanted.

"Is that why you didn't want to help, because he was an android?" M'gan asks

"No this was your battle" Red tornado says before walking off

"Guess if we're gonna have a babysitter, a heartless machine is exactly what we need"

"Dude harsh" Wally says

"Inaccurate I have a heart, steal alloy. I Also have great hearing" red tornado says still walking off

"Hehe right sorry I'll strive to be more accurate" Robin says

"And more respectful" Aqua Lad says.

“Yea Robin, more respectful” I say before we all walk off to the zeta, to go home for the day.

Episode 2: Fire Works

Doctor gets angry at super boy for making his own decisions, the team becomes a team and meets a certain green skinned loveable character. And our girl Y/N gets in her feelings.

Four pods, the four young hero's In seperate pods and the boy now know as super boy looking up at them. Then the three boys hear a voice and their eyes shoot open then the girls eyes open shortly after.

"What?! What do you want?"

"Quit staring your creeping me out"

Kid Flash yells clearing mad and confused at the situation.

"Oi maybe don't tick off the guy that could fry us with a look!"

Kid Flash then nods and stays quite.

The boys start taking to super boy while NG starts trying to get out of the cuffs unnoticed. Then she hears Robin say,

"Your 'home' is a test tube, we can show you the sun."

"Pretty sure it's midnight- but we can show you the moon!" Nightingale says then looks at super boy smiling.

"We can show you, introduce you to superman"

‘Who was that lady in the hood?’

“No” Nightingale says

“Night? What?” Robin says looking towards her confused.

“We want to help you, give you a life” Nightingale says getting cut off by Dr.Desmond.

"No they don’t, they will be otherwise occupied, activate the cloning process."

"Pass! The bat-cave's crowed enough" he says smirking looking at NG, NG glares before looking at the man.

"Get it back in it's pod"

"Home come he can call him an it?"

"Help us" Aqua Lad says.

Supey looks towards the rest of the team causing NG to smile slightly back at him. He stairs at them once again and shrugs guardians hand off his shoulder.

"Don't start thinking for yourself now" the man says before the demon thing hops onto his shoulder.

"See your not a real boy, your a weapon and you belong to me- Cadmus now get to your pod!"

"He doesn't belong to anyone! He’s not an object!" Nightingale exclaims.

"Oh yes he does young lady, you'll make an interesting clone for sure" then he nods to the the woman to press a button on a tablet. Wires Come out of the pod and stab into the four of the hero’s.

Nightingale feels a sharp pain and she screams out in pain and the others do the same and her eyes shut.

‘Kitten it’s for the best! You aren’t safe here!’

The lady looks down at the girl, sorrow and tears lace her eyes.

‘Mum I don’t want to go with him, let me stay here with you!’

‘No. He’s after you again. Your dad is the only one who can protect you from him and.. me’

‘Don’t leave me again!’

“I’m sorry Y/N..”

Nightingale is awoken by yelling.

"Don't give me orders" super boy says.

"Nice" She weakly lets out still feeling pain.

"You gonna help us or fry us?" Supey glares

"huh, I don't seem of have heat vision so helping is my only option"

Robin opens his cuffs and NG follows closely after. And they both jump out and land before robin starts up.

"Ow! Finally I'm just glad Batman isn't here he'd have our heads for taking so long."

"Seriously that's what your worried about, the whole league will have our heads after tonight!"

"calm down, the both of you" NG says before she presses a button to let the two free.

They all run "you'll never get out of here I'll have you back in pods before morning!"

"Damn that guy not whelmed not whelmed at all" he says pulling out four bomb and passing them to me.

"Sorry I don't want mini me's just yet!"

NG says throwing the bombs at the pods.

"What? And what is this whelmed thing?" KF says.

They run and come to a halt when they see the gorilla things again. They see more stuff behind them.

"Can we not catch a break?" NG asks and they start running but stop when they see super boy beating them and throwing them around.

"We need to escape super boy not bury ourselves" Aqua Lad try's to reason with him before he throws one of gorillas at the wall yelling.

"Damn, aggressive"

They get to an elevator shaft, robin and NG grapple up on to a ledge. Super boy is holding on to Aqua Lad when they start to fall.

Robin throws a bird-a-rang and Aqua Lad holds onto it Stabilising him and super boy

"Nice save" NG says putting her hand up for a high five "yup" he says putting his hand up to high five her.

"Guys this'll have to be out exit" Nightingale says gesturing up to the elevator coming down. Super boy knocks the door down and they exit the shaft.

They're running and super boy starts saying a bunch of directions so they follow. They then hit a dead end.

"Great directions supey you tryna get us re-podded?"

"I-I don't understand"

"Apologise? This is perfect" robin says gesturing up to the vents.

.

The five are crawling through the vents trying to find an escape rout while Dr.Desmond is becoming furious.

"Someone- robin I presume hacked out systems but not the motion sensors, they'll get out here" he gestures to a vent. To their surprise  Genomorphs fall from the vent.

"He hacked the motion sensors"

.

Robin turns toward us smirking "I hacked the motion sensors"

"Sweet which means?"

"There's still plenty of room between us an out"

"I've finally got time to move!" KF says before speeding up some stairs. They run after him and NG jumps getting startled by supey snapping the stair case.

"We're cut off by this door" Aqua Lad says

"Thanks my head hadn't noticed" KF says in a sarcastic tone. NG giggled before the boys tried to open the door.

"This way" Robin says and kicks the door down. The they get cornered.

"Great now we're cornered." NG says before she feels her self slowly passing out.

The little girl sitting in a room all alone.

No one there for her.

‘Mum?’ She calls out praying her mum will answer her and pick her up to take her away.

“No mum here little one, just you me and our experiments. You’ll be my biggest creation. You will take down the league once you come of age.. just. You. Wait.”

‘PLEASE NO! HELP!’

“YOU STUPID FOOL. Your mother brought you here. No one is coming now”

NG gets shook awake awake by Robin "wake up you can sleep later"

"Robin, my head. It’s pounding. Somethings wrong. Who is kitten?"

"It’ll be ok I’m here"

They both look up to see guardian then he speaks.

"Go I'll deal with Desmond."

"I think not" Dr.Desmond says before continuing

"Project blockbuster will give me the power I need to restore order to Cadmus" and he chugs some blue liquid in a vile.

Then he starts turning into a sort of blue mutant.

"Everyone back!" Guardian yells and runs towards Desmond before getting thrown off and supey try's and gets throw through the roof with Desmond leaving a huge hole in the roof.

"That's one way to exit" robin says and KF agrees before holding onto robin and NG grapple up.

"Holy crap." NG says looking forward.

They all start fighting doing their own thing and NG flips over Desmond sticking bombs to his chest and they blow up and only manage to take some skin off.

"Of course NIGHT, KF get over here" Robin yells.

They both stop what they’re doing and run over to him NG taking a bit longer to get her grapple.

Robin then shows us the plan "got it?"

"Got it!" KF and NG say before running off.

KF snatches some skin off Desmond's face by accident

"Got your nose!" KF a yells he says before running off and motions for NG to go.

"Oi Blue hunk of junk over here! Fight me" he runs towards NG but she moves at the last second causing him to destroy one of the main pillars.

Looking up she sees a huge bit of debris about to fall on her.

Robin jumps in moving her out of the way.

"Watch what your doing genius, now hold on a sec. Super Boy, Aqua Lad!" He says showing the other two the plan.

"This one and that one" and they both pull their bombs out placing them on pillars.

Robin pulls out some chalk and makes a huge X on the ground, Aqua Lad places the water super boy punches mutant Desmond and he falls back first into the water.

Aqua Lad then electrocutes the water zapping Desmond.

"Move!" Robin says after seeing NG had placed the bombs. Then a huge explosion happens and the building start to collapse and we start running to avoid falls parts of debris, NG then gets pulled by aqua Lad for cover.

Super boy throws the rock off of all of us. All of our suits have been ripped.

"We did it" Aqua Lad says out of breath

"Was there ever any doubt?" Robin says also out of breath.

NG, Robin and KF go for a fist bump when they all do they all grunt in pain.

"Yea let's not do that." She barely got out.

Super boy walks over to Desmond looking at him until KF says

"See? the moon" the team all look up to see the moon then a silhouette of a person flying towards them.

"Oh and superman boy do we keep our promises or what?"

Then all of the league including NG’s dad land and he walks forward next to uncle supes. Super boy walks in front of all of us showing her uncle his emblem.

"Is that what I think it is?" Dad asks

KF walks forward and speaks up

"He doesn't like being called an it"

"I'm superman's clone!" Super boy yells

The league all look at each other some confused some not. Dad looks to NG and Robin

"Start talking"

.

.

.

Some of the league members take mutant Desmond away and the little team huddles up and the rest of the remaining league members start to converse.

Uncle supes walks towards Supey, she waves at him and he waves but before starting to talk with super boy.

"We'll figure something out for you- the league will I mean, for now I better make sure they get the block buster creature Secured away"

And he fly's off.

"Cadmus will be investigated all 52 levels but let's make one thing clear-" Batman gets interrupted by flash.

"You should'a called"

"End results aside were not happy you hacked justice league systems, disobeyed direct orders and put peoples lives in danger, you will not be doing this again."

"I am sorry but we will"

"Aqua Lad stand down"

"Apologies my king but no, we did good work here tonight, the work you trained us to do, together on our own we forged something special" Aqua Lad says.

"If this is about your thing at the hall the four of you-" flash gets interrupted by KF

"The five of us"

"Batman we're ready" robin says, batman looks at NG and she speaks up.

"We all worked together and now that thing is behind bars does that really not count for anything?"

"We used what you taught us, or why teach us at all?" Robin says.

"Why let them decide, tell us what do it's simple get on Board or get out of the way" we all step beside super boy and face the hero's.

-Y/n’s pov-

"This cave was the original secret sanctuary of the justice league" Batman says looking at us in our civilian clothes.

"We're putting it into service again since you five are determined to stay together and fight. You do it on league terms, red tornado volunteered to live here and be your supervisor, black canary is in charge of training"

My eyes widen behind my sunglasses and I wave at my aunt, she's not biological of course but I consider her family. She waves back and dad continues talking.

"I will deploy you on missions"

"Real missions?" Robin asks

"Yes but covert"

"The league will still handle the obvious stuff there's a reason we wear these targets on our chest."

"Batman needs a team that can do missions covertly to find information we cannot" Aqua-man adds on.

"The six of you will be that team" dad says

"Cool, wait six?" Robin asks confused

Dad looks behind us so we all turn around  "this is the Martian Manhunters niece, miss Martian"

"Hi!" The girl says

"I'm liking this gig more and more" Wally says, I smack him lightly on the arm

"You better not scare her off you Idiot" I say not wanting the only other girl to leave.

"Anyways sorry about him, hi! I'm nightingale you can call me night" I say smiling at the girl

"It's lovely-" she gets interrupted by Wally saying.

"Welcome aboard I'm Kid Flash, that's Robin and nightingale you know her and Aqua Lad and super boy, it's cool if you forget there names"

"I'm Honoured to be here!" We all gather around her to speak to her.

"Hey super boy come meet Miss M" robin says before I start talking to the girl again.

"So yea I'm nightingale you already now that"

"It's lovely to meet you I've always wanted a sister, well a sister on earth I have 12 on mars but trust me it's not the same"

"Cool! I'd love to be your sister on earth" I say and we giggle and talk more with each other Until super boy decides to walk over.

She changed her shirt to black "I like your

T-shirt" she says and super boy smiles.

"Cute!" I whisper to Robin "OTP" He looks at me smiles and shakes his head. Then Aqua Lad speaks up.

"Today is the day"

‘Gosh today was so tiring’ I think walking up the stairs waving to Alfred.

I open my bedroom door and see dick sitting on my bed.

“Hey? You ok?” I ask as he looks over to me.

“What was that today?” He asks

“The mission?”

“No. The mental break down you had” I sigh and look down.

“We’ll. While I presumably was knocked out I was have flash backs to something. My mother? A man white a white mask..” I feel tears fall down my face.

“You should have seen the look on the girls face as she screamed and cried” I sit next to him on the bed.

Dick took me into a hug and slowly I started drifting off to sleep.

Love Birds

Episode 1: Independence day

Today is the day, when Nightingale greets old friends and goes on a life changing mission. Wally is still Wally and Aqualad has to take care of his teenage kids.

GOTHAM CITY

Just a normal day in Gotham city- well as normal as it can be. Until ice crashes down causing panic around the park.

They start running to get away from the threat some getting frozen some just able to get out of harms way.

"Enjoying family time?" Freeze says before freezing a small family.

“My family has other plans.” Freeze says but is interrupted by a bat-a-rang to his glass helmet.

"Batman." Freeze turns around aiming his freeze ray towards where he had assumed Batman would be.

A laugh is heard before Robin flips into action and bounces off of freezes helmet, then nightingale does the same and each of them land throwing their bombs towards his helmet cracking it.

"Oh boy and girl wonder, the bats sent you to send me off to prison, frankly I'm underwhelmed" freeze says only to be interrupted by Robin saying "Great but we're kinda in a hurry here"

"Kids always is such a rush" freeze says.

"he wasn't talking to you" nightingale says looking up, freeze's eyes widen and look up to see Batman and he punches his helmet and fully cracks it.

"Wouldn’t want to be that guy" Nightingale says from where Robin and her are standing Batman and him both look and her, Robin smiling while shaking his head and Batman just gives a simple nod.

Robin raps his arm around Nightingales shoulders, “Today is the day, you ready?” Nightingale looks to Batman and at the apartments across the road.

“Yea, ready as I’ll ever be.” Robin looks at Nightingale and sighs.

“Still thinking about her?” Nightingale nods and the Hero and his side kicks leave for the hall.

After a while they make it to the hall of justice everyone and NG looks up at the hall, Green arrow and Speedy are there along with Aqua Lad and Aqua Man.

Batman places a hand on Robin and NG’s shoulder and speaks "today is the day" then green arrow says "welcome to the hall of justice"  "headquarters of the justice league" Aqua Man says and taps Aqua Lads shoulder.

"OH man!" They hear from behind them so they all turn around to see flash and kid flash "I knew we'd be the last ones here!" KF says

"ironic huh?" Nightingale replies with smiling at him.

"hey gorgeous!" He says winking

"Sup KF" Nightingale says.

Nightingale had been friends with Wally for ages, since Batman brought her in to the hero scene. The two were basically siblings. They start walking to the hall entrance.

"Is that Batman?!" Someone yells "look it's nightingale and Robin!" "I see flash and flash junior!" "His name is speedy duh!" "No! Speedy is green arrows side kick!" "Well that makes no sense" "Nightingale over here!"

Everything goes silent when she looks up for a photo. Although she looks past the camera to see a lady in a black hood looking at her, her eyes widen and the second Nightingale blinks. She’s gone.

"Ready to see it?" Green arrow says interrupting her thoughts "born that way" speedy replies with "Im glad were here" aqua lad says

"have all five sidekicks ever been in the same place at the same time-" KF gets cut off by speedy

"Don't! Call us sidekicks, not after today."

"Calm down roy it's probably his first time at the hall" Nightingale says tapping his shoulder.

"that it is gorgeous, tho I'm a little overwhelmed" KF says

Then Robin starts up saying "your overwhelmed, freeze was underwhelmed why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?" NG laughs a bit before getting a small smile from Robin as they walk inside.

"Oh that's why" Robin says as he looks up at the huge statues of the league. "Robin, nightingale, aqua lad, kid flash and speedy.. welcome" Martian Manhunter said. Nightingale, Robin and KF all do a little fist bump before following along.

"You now have access to the Gym, full gallery and of course our library" Martian Manhunter says and is followed by flash saying "make yourselves at home"

Hearing this everyone sits in a chair minus speedy. "Quick debrief to discuss the coincidence of four villains attacking on the same day"

Batman says and walks up to the zeta tube and it says "Batman 0-2, Aqua Man 0-6, Flash 0-4,

Green Arrow 0-8, Martian Manhunter 0-7, Red Tornado 1-6".

Then we all hear "that's it?!" Speedy yells  causing the hero's to turn around "you said we'd get a real look around not a glorified backstage pass"

Nightingale didn't really wanna listen to them argue so she grabed robins arm and used his mini computer to play flappy bird. He looks at her nodding telling her its ok to continue and turns away focusing on what speedy's talking about.

"They’re treating us like kids!" Speedy says causing NG to look up and stop playing "worse like side kicks, we deserve better than this" the group of teen hero’s all look at each other and back to speedy.

"Your kidding right? Your playing their game, today was supposed to be THE day, step one of becoming full fledged members of the league"

KF looks to Robin and NG and says "well I thought the first step was a tour of the HQ?" And gets cut off by speedy once again.

"Yea except the hall isn't the real HQ"

"What?" KF says clearly confused "it's just a false front for tourists they just have a zeta beam that teleports to the real thing, an orbiting sat alight, the watch tower"

The small bit of the full time hero's pause and Batman glares at green arrow. "I know, I know I just thought we could make an exception?" Green arrow says in hopes to save himself. ‘Someone’s in trouble’ she thought.

Batman continues to glare "or not" green arrow says in defeat. Robin retracts his arm types something and shows it to NG, ‘awkward’ she stifles a laugh and types back ‘yup’.

"Your not helping your cause son, now-" Aqua Man gets cut off by speedy "or what your gonna send me to my room and I'm not your son, I'm not even his, I thought I was his partner- but not anymore"

He takes of his hat and throws his hat to the floor. The group are just witnessing this going on not really knowing what to say.

“Roy..” NG stops.

"Guess they were right about you four.. your not ready" we all stand up and watch him leave, NG let go of robins arm and can't help but feel that Roys right.

“Superman to justice league, there is a fire at Cadmus. Help needed”

"Zatara to justice league" seeing one of Nightingales friends dad was cool but she hadn’t seen her is ages.

"Superman?" Batman asks "It's a small fire local authorities have it under control" superman replies. "Then Cadmus can wait"

Batman looks to the teenage hero’s “stay put”

Robin looks at him and says “what? Why!”

"This is a league mission" Aqua man says followed by flash saying "your not trained"

"That's the only thing we have been doing" Nightingale says "yea since when we're we 'not trained'" KF adds on.

"I meant your not trained to be apart of this team" flash continues "there will be other missions" Aqua man says "but for now stay.put." Batman says.

Then they walk off towards the zeta tube and green arrow mutters something to Martian Manhunter "agreed" he replied with.

"Ready? How are we ever supposed to be ready when they treat us like sidekicks?" KF says "Mhm we're still sidekicks in there eyes" Nightingale says.

"My mentor, My king I thought he trusted me." Aqua Lad says "Trust? They don't even Trust us with the basics, The secret HQ" "IN space" Nightingale says adding on to KF's statement.

Aqua Lad nods and says "what else aren't they telling us" "hey I have a better question, why didn't we leave with speedy?" Robin says.

"Exactly what I was thinking" NG says and they all look down. Until Aqua Lad starts up. "What is project Cadmus?"

Then Robin smirks and says "Don't know, but I can find out"

Robin walks over to the computer and starts typing stuff on the huge key pad.

"Nightingale, plug this in the power port there"

He says, Nightingale handing her a wire to plug in.

"Will do" she says.

"Access denied" the computer said after she put the wire in the access port.

Robin looks up and says "heh, wanna bet?"

"Woah how are you doing that?" KF says, NG walks over to stand next to Robin.

"he's Batman" she says in a deep voice mocking her mentor and laughing at her own joke, KF looks at her and says,

"Very funny. but seriously how?"

"Same system as the bat-cave" Robin says

"Nightingale can do it to, she just doesn't" he continues before getting back to it.

"Access granted" the computer says

"Alright project Cadmus, genetic lab here in DC, if Batman's suspicious we should investigate" Robin says.

"We should" NG says

"If we solve the case first, it would be poetic justice" Aqua Lad says.

"Hey, their all about justice"

"But they said to stay put" Aqua Lad said

"For the sun mission, not this" Robin replies with.

"No way you wanna go to Cadmus?" KF says placing a hand on Robin and NG's shoulders.

"because if your going I'm going" KF says

The group looks at Aqua Lad "just like that, we're a team?"

"Well we didn't come here for a play date" Robin says.

"Finally an actual mission!" NG says before walking off not aware of the secret conversation behind her.

"Robin, how is she?" Aqua Lad asks the two.

"She seems off" KF says

"She’ll be ok, she’s been through a lot" Robin says before continuing.

"You both know that she is" Robin says.

Robin walks after NG and KF starts speaking to Aqua Lad.

"She may be strong but she can’t bare everything on her shoulders"

Aqua Lad nods and they silently follow behind the two.

CADMUS

The fire fighters fighting to put out the fire two people inside yelling for help "help get us out" a scientist inside yells.

Then a huge explosion knocks the two out off the building as there falling a yellow and red blur dashes in saving the two scientists and is hanging from the window.

"It's what's his name, flash boy!" someone yells.

"KID FLASH!, why is that so hard?" KF says.

Aqua Lad, Robin and NG run out of an alley way "Soo smooth" Robin says

"does he always have to run away" is the last thing Nightingale hears Aqua Lad say before getting pulled by Robin into the shadows.

As they’re running he starts his famous laugh and NG looks back to see Aqua Lad looking around.

Then Robin lets go of her hand.

"I'll get KF you get in there" he says

“Alright be safe” he nods and off he goes.

NG grapples off and swings into a window and sees Robin hacking the system and KF checking files.

NG walks over to Robin and whispers "hey did you do the math homework?"

"Yes? Why did you not?" He asks looking up

"I mean.. i started it?" She says smiling.

"When we get back I'll help you out" Robin says.

"Thanks" she says before looking out the window to see Aqua Lad doing his thing before making his way into the room.

"Appreciate the help" Aqua Lad says obviously being sarcastic.

"You handled it, plus we're here to investigate" Robin says and gets back to typing.

"Poetic justice remember?" NG says tapping his shoulder receiving a smile.

Then Aqua Lad leaves the room so the group runs after him.

"There was someone in there" Aqua Lad says.

"Elevators should be locked down" KF replies.

"Mm they should be, but why aren't they"

Robin runs ahead so they all follow "this is wrong.. thought so, this is a high speed express elevator, doesn't belong in a two story building".

"Neither does what I saw" Aqua Lad walks up to the door and forces it open.

"And that's why they need an express elevator."

Robin shoots his grapple to the top of the shaft "Nightingale grab on" Robin says "Got it” she replies with.

Robin grabs her hip and she holds on causing her cheeks to have a red tint as they’re lowered into the elevator shaft.

"I'm at the end of my rope" he then swings himself and NG onto the elevator door and slides down and uses his mini computer and Aqua Lad and KF jump onto the door frame.

"By passing security, there go!" Robin says.

Aqua Lad opens the door and they all walk into the hallway.

"Welcome to project Cadmus" NG says KF runs off down the hall.

"Kid wait!" Aqua Lad yells.

"KF get back here!" Nightingale says.

"Ah-" he yells all of these ape alien things stomping down the hall.

"Holy sh-" Nightingale gets cut off by robins gloved hand on her mouth.

"Language" he says before Aqua Lad says.

"NooOoo nothing Odd going on here" Aqua Lad says. Then the ape thing walks off.

Then the team ends up in a room with these blue tubes with aliens in them.

"K I'm officially whelmed" robin says.

"Are you kidding, what are these?".

KF walks in front "this is how they keep this huge facility hidden from the world, the real Cadmus is powered by these things, must be what there bred for".

Aqua Lad said something to the group but NG was looking at the Alien things.

"Cadmus creates new life, let's fine out why. They call themselves genomes. Oh look at the stats on these things super strength, telepathy, claws their living weapons" Robin says.

"There engendering an army, but for who?" KF says.

"Wait what's project Kr?" Nightingale saw reading over robins shoulder.

"I'm not sure the files are tripled encrypted I can't-" Robin gets interrupted by a voice.

"Hold it right there!" Nightingales eyes widened realising she recognised that voice.

They all turn around to see guardian.

"Wait nightingale, Robin, kid flash, Aqua Lad?" Guardian says in clear confusion.

NG nudges KF and say "least he got your name right" he slightly glares at NG before Aqua Lad speaks up.

"I know you, guardian a hero" he says.

"I try my best" guardian replies with.

"Then what are you doing here?" KF says.

"I'm chief of security, your trespassing but we can call the justice league to figure this out" guardian said.

Nightingale and robin look at each other and he smiles slightly, NG raises her eyebrows and he looks at his mini computer and motions her over.

Then he shows her what floor project Kr is on, as they’re about to tell the team they hear guardian yell.

"Take em' down!" Robin throws a smoke bomb and he grapple's on to a pipe grabbing Nightingale before she can object.

Then the two make it to a elevator door and rob starts hacking away.

Nightingale turns around and sees KF and Aqua lad.

"Way to be team players you two!" KF says in rage.

"Weren't you right behind us?" Robin says and before long the door opens.

And they all get into the elevator and Nightingale fills the silence

“Everyone ok?”

The responses are out of breath but all ‘ok’ and ‘yea fine’

"We're heading down?" Aqua Lad questions.

"Dude out is up!" KF says.

"No excuse me, project Kr is down lvl 52" robin says.

"Perhaps we should contact the league?"

Aqua Lad suggests.

"No point we're already here, we’ll be ok kaldur" NG says before walking out of the elevator and looking around at the strange pathways.

"We are already here" KF says to Aqua Lad.

And they all walk to the entrance of the two hallways.

"Which way?" Aqua Lad says.

"Mm bazar hallway 1 or bazar looking hallway 2?" Robin says.

"HOLD!" Some Alien dude yells and throws barrels at the team.

NG gets pulled back by one of the guys.

"Hurry!" Aqua Lad yells before they all get insides a room.

"I disabled the door we're safe" Robin says.

"We're trapped" Aqua Lad corrects.

"UH guys you might wanna see this" KF says and presses a button on a control panel and a pod in the middle of the room lights up.

"Uhh what is that?" Nightingale says.

"Right, right" robin says before speaking to Nightingale .

"Night you mind?" As he hands her the wire.

"Not at all" she says before taking the wire and plugging it in.

"Weapon designation super boy a clone force grown in- 16 weeks?! DNA acquired by superman".

"Stolen from superman" Aqua Lad corrects

"No way the big man knows about this." KF adds.

"Solar suit allows him to absorb sun radiation 24/7"robin says.

"And the devil things?" NG says genuinely confused.

"Uh- Genomes force feeding him education" he says and KF says "and I bet we can guess what else."

They keep talking and NG walks closer to the pod

Poor dude. Then she notices the devil or genomes horns turn red.

Robin then opens the pod so NG steps back and they all look towards the super boy it's quiet for less then a second until super boy jumps forward smashing Aqua Lad into the wall then onto the floor.

KF runs over to pull super boy off but he punches KF Back "I don't want to do this" robin says putting a gas bomb in his mouth.

Aqua Lad kicks him back, robin and NG pull out their tasers but he grabs the wires from both and yanks them both forward behind him onto the floor.

Then he uses his foot to keep robin from moving. Nightingale manages to land a punch to super boys face and to no avail. Then getting punched in the gut and one to the face and the last thing she heard was someone call my name before everything goes black.
