I'd say most of my time on Tumblr is just waiting. For what, I'm not sure.
It isn't like I have anything to offer anyway.

To be honest... One of the main reasons why I don't talk that much is because it doesn't feel like I am worth anyone's time.
That and it feels like I upset everyone and I might trigger them by showing up... Among other things.
I have partners that I've been waiting to years for them to reply because well... I've been told I talk too much.
If anything, I'm terrified of making a mistake... Another mistake.
I've lost count how many horrid things I've done and well... I've been reminded time and time again that I'm an unforgivable pile of poo.
Just saying anything at all takes an incredible amount of strain and self destructive tendencies... Since me just saying anything is a horrible sin.
I know I'm an outsider and I'll never be truly welcome anywhere.
It's been so quiet for the last decade that I wonder if I'm already dead.

"I wouldn't say it's a language barrier so much as a social barrier... the Fleets are rather proud to say the least. You can probably get an idea of what they're like to deal with by watching their daughter." Which was something of an understatement, considering her own experiences with the family.
"Well... she definitely has a speed quirk of some sort... Been something of a nightmare for the school cafeteria with how much she eats on a regular basis... with all the running around she does."
Admittedly, she had been sort of playing the role of the big sister with Diana, even if she had not cared to notice. Thankfully, nobody has asked why that girl's gear seems to miraculously be good as new every time it's gotten all worn down from overuse.
"Diana is a stubborn girl, I can tell you that for sure."
Thankfully, nobody has taken the time to really ask about her own quirk. On the other hand, the person that discovered her during her little vigilante stint probably would say something eventually, providing her own relatives didn't get to them first.

“I speak English fluently or we can hire a translator if need be.” He missed her point, assuming a language barrier.
So was his. “What else has she developed besides a full body fire quirk?”
“Heh. She sounds like most kids your age. The majority of people grow out of it when they’re older.” Or more jaded. Toshi hoped trauma didn’t age Fleet.

(I don't even know how to say how I feel most of the time... other than I feel like I failed everyone with every struggle and attempt while making their lives worse.)
(Nothing I do will be good enough. I can't give people pretty art, I can't afford to pay for commissions either, and I don't even know how to articulate what I want most of the time.)
(On top of it all, there are just so many people angry at me and there's so much silence that sometimes I wonder what the point of me being here is.)
(After all, if I have nothing to give and my existence is a form of pestilence, I wonder what the point is of me being alive.)
(Everything I do feels like a crime. Showing activity is dash clutter, asking for help is guilt tripping, I talk too much, I'm not worth the effort, just saying anything at all causes suffering.)
(It just feels like that even speaking up hurts people.)

(If anyone is wondering why I'm not as active as some people on here... there's a bit of a list.}
I'm kind of an overly cautious nervous wreck.
I'm a socially awkward klutz.
I'm not that good at approaching people.
I'm easily distracted.
I'm terrible with names.
I'm a human being who makes mistakes.
I don't have any self-confidence.
The verse notes feel unfinished.
There's just a bunch of people that don't like me for some reason.
There's a bunch of people that would like my head on a pike for some reason.
It might be that your mutual partner is one of those people, so I don't want to cause problems by being around.
I often feel like everyone is better off without me.
People usually don't come by here often.
Activity is poor so I stay away.
I get excited over something and remember that there's nobody I know in that fandom or the people in that fandom don't want anything to do with me.
It's complicated
Etc.

If anyone is wondering what I've been so quiet... Well... Let's just say I'm not doing well mentally and emotionally, and everything I say is an affront to society and guilt tripping, so... I've been keeping quiet.
Hope you guys are doing well.

"Stick to serving the fake eggplant then?"
To be fair, if anyone had looked in Vert's fridge about now, they'd see an assortment of strange items... that were actually various desserts disguised as other things. Like a shoe, a pot of dirt, an eggplant, a book, a gaming controller, and others.
Sure, she did get carried away with it, but she did have fun.
"Hey... Vert... How long do you think it would take before Neptune realizes the eggplant in the fridge is actually a pudding cake?" Well... Lizzy had made it for April fools, but she wasn't sure if the joke would catch on right away.
"A very long time. You underestimate Neptune's gullibility."
Tumblr media
"She would of most likely thrown it away or asked someone to throw it away for her, not understanding what it actually is. Nor would it be easy to convince her otherwise."

(Generally, I really don't feel I am deserving of having competent partners. I've rusted out so much that I'm afraid to even say hello at this point without turning into a stressed-out wreck.)
(On the other side of thing, Biden's little... announcement gave me a dumb idea of a blogger harassment plot... Transformation ray that turns everyone it blasts into cute girls wearing bunny suits anyone, including the guys. A... bunny gun basically.)

I'm sorry if I haven't been active enough for everyone's liking... I'm not doing well and it just feels like I'm being a selfish person just for pointing it out.

Re-reading the Gushing over Magical Girls manga again... trying to make observations.
Venalita has a twitter account.
Knowing Evie, she probably already found said account... among other things. The mascots can't exactly camouflage themselves and neither can smartphones, so figuring out Magia Baiser's identity by getting into his phone wouldn't be too difficult once she's locked in.
Although to be honest, it probably started by her simply wanting to track the pesky mascot's movements... one thing leads to another and suddenly she's got the identities of the entire team of Tres Magia members with the confirmation she needs.
Not that she wouldn't have already known, but pointing out the whole illusion blindness thing she has to people is just going to open up a worse can of worms. It's also why she tends to avoid places like graveyards if she can help it.
In fact, her tracking of magical girls in the wild is one of the reasons why AMP uses inter-spatial displacement as part of the transformation mechanism.
_
In other words, the AMP user and their active body doesn't have to be in the same place... resulting in the magical girl using the system just "appearing" to intercept a target and then "vanish" just as quickly when the job is done.
Of course, AMP also has the fun little feature of being able to "lie" about the nature of the active body... since there's really no physical difference between the active body and the magical girls it was engineered to replicate. In other words, mechanically, it would appear identical to the original system.
However, destroying the active body simply triggers a safe ejection... and the user can simply redeploy again later with a fresh active body.
In other words, unless you can prove that Joe, a guy living on the complete opposite of town mysteriously vanishes whenever a cute magical girl appears on your side of town, it's a real pain to track them down.
And that's before going over how the cute magical girl can do the whole transform and detransform thing just like the other magical girls.
_
But to get back on topic... while she would recognize Utena and the Tres Magia team on sight, the footage of what happened that day... as well as the sore butts and misery the following day confirms it.
If she does have her own form of sadism, it's more of the manipulative... letting the idiot hit themselves in the face sort of thing.
And she's been collecting the footage off Venalita's phone for a later scheme.
_
For both Vatz and Venalita, Evelyn is the one that keeps getting away... but at the same time, they have no idea that it's her.
While her alter ego and Violagia seem to be a force to be reckoned with by themselves, Evelyn is actually more dangerous when she's not hiding her identity with AMP.
_
Note to self... I've been awake for 24 hours and I really need to sleep.

Generally though, one thing I can say is that writing a Custodi is tough... since things that are perfectly in their nature is not exactly easy to articulate for a wide variety of reasons.
Like the fact if someone was supposed to be some sort of invulnerable immortal god person and they decided that person should be killed by being instantly crushed like a tin can... it just is.
It is as it is because they will it and it is so.
Not easy to explain really... other than it is what it is.

Random thought... if the Harry Potter universe has Aurors... why haven't we gotten any stories that show things from the view of what is essentially the magical world's counterpart of a police detective?

Still thinking about how different groups might presume what Custodi are like depending on the sort of activities they might be aware of.
Sort of a case of the more you know and think you know what they are doing, the more you realize you don't know and don't actually know what they are doing.
So they question is more of... What sort of encounter would someone have and what would they make of it?
Like... Do they see wandering tricksters that love to test and questions someone's worth, rewarding who they favor and punish those that fail?
Would they see them as beings from a higher order of the latter, but it's unclear where?
Terrifying forces of destruction that appear to dismantle everything at the end 🔚 f the universe?
God hunters, strange Wiseman... Arbiters of destruction Roles more meant to make a statement when subtlety doesn't apply.
Otherwise, you'd never know they were there... They can be anything or anything they desire, free and unrestricted by the rules of the world.
Generally, in a faction that has had to encounters with them before, the sort of impression they have really depends on why they'd make an appearance in the first place.
For example, in a structure like Vizipop's version of heaven and hell, it's easier to say that anyone lower on the ladder is more afraid of them because of the people above them are afraid.
Like... Angels and demons that attract the attention of a "gatekeeper" have a tendency to either become someone important or vanish without a trace.
They're stubborn, nosy, and just plain troublesome and there's nothing you can do about it... An impression that gets more terrifying the further up the power ladder you get.
Generally, an imp or a cherub might find a Custodi to be downright sociable in most cases, but later find out their employer had quite literally souled themselves out of sheer terror when they showed up.
It really comes down to why the encounter happens in the first place...
Like... There are probably some pretty stupid people, especially in the greed ring that really think they can ask a Custodi for anything they want... I mean, Mammon might not care as it means more stuff for himself, but you don't walk up to one and try to threaten them into giving you things...
Another way to put it, a Custodi in the open is usually up to something and is probably a trap... And then letting you know isn't a good thing.

Playing with the Crash Bandicoot variant again...
The first bit is the masks the scientists use is essentially a magitech clone of the witch doctor masks... With some additional features.
Under normal circumstances, the mask is something like a personal assistant slash shield generator... At least as long as the scientist they are assigned to is intact... Which is left out of the documentation.
In other words, the mask is keeping a constant link to the user, backing up their memories, and tethering their soul in case of any fatal accidents.
In other words, the poor sap that dies a horrible death while linked to one will find themselves in a similar position to the Witch doctors... All mask, no body until a replacement vessel can be provided.
On the other side of things, the masks are also designed to work with a mechanical "vessel" in order to allow an installed mask to function as if they had a living body or... As simple automated labor or operated remotely without one.
In other words, somewhat convoluted reason for why Evie's companion is a grumpy old professor trapped in a mask.
