Okay uh since it's been approximately three million years since we've really posted, we thought we'd do a little update for anyone curious.

Basically in December we were dealing with a lot of depression and instability, and then had a very intense 3 days that included our first time in a club and a frankly nightmarish work shift. And then we split four new alters (at least). One of them is me, Glitch (hi) and I'm the new host. Most of the new alters have a lot more connection to the traumas we've gone through and the adjustment has been rough. We're okay tho!! Just figuring out how to navigate this new world.

We appreciate everyone who has been so patient with their requests. We WILL get them to you, just don't know when exactly. But I've started getting comfy with writing so hopefully it's not too long.

Additionally, we put this in the pinned post but two of us (me and Vex) are in an in-system relationship. This is the first time we've ever experienced such a dynamic, but if you are curious what it's like for us feel free to send an ask!

On the subject of white coding in fandom creations

It’s no secret that whitewashing and white coding is a huge issue in reader insert fic and art. It feels like it’s actually gotten worse lately to the point where I’ll save 10 fics in my drafts but only reblog 2 cause the rest are white coded. And almost all art uses a white and thin girl as “reader.” No matter how much poc in fandom shout for y’all to be inclusive it feels like it falls on deaf ears. And it feels like the white people in fandom just don’t care. It’s hurtful and upsetting and poc are getting frustrated and fed up with this.

I feel like we’re not asking for much. And it’s really not that hard to be inclusive with your reader insert. Just literally take out any skin/hair/language/relation descriptors. That’s it. Background is something you have a little more flexibility on because yes it is fiction but at the bare minimum just don’t use descriptors for your reader character. Yet it feels like whenever I (or others) bring it up, we’re met with defensiveness and abrasiveness or we’re told we’re overrating or being too mean or nit-picky. Or there’s one excuse or another why it’s too much of an ask. We’re not asking for the moon here, just think about who else may be reading/seeing your art that doesn’t look like you.

Yes I understand mistakes happen, we’re human, no one is perfect. It’s impossible to include every single person who could possibly read/see your art. People are just too diverse and too different. It’s impossible to be aware of every single nuance out there. But all we’re asking is to try. Take a look over of your work and really look for things and think from another perspective.

I’ve also heard the complaint that poc are too harsh with criticism of whitewashing. Perhaps it was your personal first time making a mistake like that but I guarantee it isn’t the poc’s first time coming across it. But you also have to understand that at least 90% of fic and art is white coded. It’s frustrating to see over and over and over again that you aren’t thought about and that you aren’t welcome here. So it’s not a personal attack on you at all.

Yes this is all meant to be self indulgent. But when all you think about is your own whiteness, poc fans can’t have that indulgence either. Poc deserve to have that level of indulgence too. Poc deserve to have that level of escape too. We belong here too.

Yes fandom is very white but that is part because so many poc are bullied and pushed out of the fandom or made to feel unwelcome. Poc creatives are ignored in favors of white ones. Imagine how disheartening it feels to come into a fandom space expecting to be invited and accepted only to be pushed out. It sucks.

Especially in the fandoms of a poc too like Pedro and Oscar. (This post includes all fandoms but I mention these in specific cause I see it a LOT here and they are men or color themselves so it’s extra important)

So please, try to be better. Listen to poc. Boost our voices, don’t ignore us or push us out. Think about being more inclusive in your work. Imagine how upset you would be if it were the other way around. So please try. Try to include others who don’t look like you. Try to think outside your box. Try to make others actually feel welcome in fandom spaces, since fandom constantly preaches love and acceptance.

To the write creatives who read this whole post and to the ones who do try: thank you. We appreciate your thought and effort.

The midday sun beats down on the vineyard, making you drenched in sweat but turning the leaves a luminescent green. It catches the silver in William's hair too, and you pause to take him in, smiling.

"What?" He looks at you, brow crinkling. “This isn’t the surprise, is it?”

You bring his hand, entangled with yours, to your lips. “Nah,” you say, setting off again. “Just admiring the view.”

Will sputters behind you but keeps following your lead. Comfortable silence falls over the two of you as you sweat your way through the vineyard, until finally, finally you reach the small field you had reserved.

“Oh...” you hear William breath softly.

A tall tree, heavy with leaves, shades the picnic you had prepared. A basket sits on a red and white checkered blanket, and a vase with marigolds, and a wooden wind chime hangs from a branch. You pull on William’s hand before leaving him and kneeling down by the basket to get out the food.

“Do you like it?” you ask as you pull out a container of olives. Jam and fresh bread follow, slices of salami, mason jars holding the wine the vineyard makes. You pause to look up as you’re pulling out the fruit tarts. “Baby?”

Will takes a breath. His eyes are glossy. “It’s beautiful,” he says with that strangled smile of his. “You put all this together?”

You shrug, sitting back on the blanket. “I wanted to do something nice. Something romantic.”

“Well it’s very romantic,” he chuckles, coming to sit with you. He rolls up his shirt sleeves, the sheen of sweat of his skin seeming to extenuate his arm muscles even more. You catch his smirk out of the corner of your eye when you shake yourself from your reverie.

A light breeze starts up as you finish the fruit tarts. It’s a blissful feeling after the suffocating heat, and you take your shirt off with a sigh. Eyes closed, you feel rather than see William’s approach, the whisper of a touch against your shoulder.

“Mmn,” you hum noncommittally, cracking an eye open. Silvery hair fills your vision as Will kisses across your upper body. “What are you doing?”

“Admiring the view,” he says, and you feel his grin as you laugh and pull him up to kiss him.

His hands roam across your body, sculpting you like a piece of clay, and you find yourself arching up against him.

“Look at you,” he murmurs. “I can’t believe...”

Trailing off, William presses his face against your chest. The puff of his warm breath sends shivers through you.

Each touch to your body is purposeful, reverent. Broad hands trace your stomach as Will grazes your nipple lightly with his teeth. He replaces the burn with the cool of his mouth, then again- teeth, lips, tongue swirling, hands tuning you to a perfect pitch.

You bite down on your lip to keep from moaning too loud. You aren't too far out of it to notice how William's hips roll against you, or how tight his slacks feel.

“Will-” you gasp as he trails his fingers up your inner thigh.

He presses a kiss to your cheek, your jaw, down your neck. “You booked the field for the afternoon right?” You nod, and he grins again, eyes sparkling.
