“There is a possibility that people learn from their mistakes. And there is also a possibility that people don’t learn, I won’t deny that but that just means there must be something that was missed. Sometimes, there just needs to be a specific thing that can help push the person to the correct path, even ones that seem unredeemable. The best for us to do is to protect the innocent. Protect, not be the executioner. I understand why Phantom Slasher doing what he does but those are his ideals and beliefs.” Reality has always been cruel. Perhaps, people would argue that Phantom Slasher was a realist while he was a realist trapped in his ideals but it was those ideals that he strongly followed. “That is what differs between the Armed Detective Agency and Phantom Slasher. We are an agency that focuses on protecting and saving lives. That requires us to fight against criminals and we will do so at any cost as long as it is to protect the people. Phantom Slasher’s purpose is to hunt and execute the criminals and in doing so, he believes he can protect the people in his own way.”

“I apologize, I do not know a lot about American comics. The only thing I know about the Joker is that he is Batman’s nemesis and a creepy looking clown. I do agree that the laws and court is not perfect but that doesn’t make a person better than the law. There are other ways to bring change.” Not that he is against breaking the law, but only if it is to protect and save.

When Sai talked about bring closure, he couldn’t help but remembered Rokuzo Taguchi.

“If it is not justice, would it be closure or revenge that they want?”

It's true. Each place has its own set of problems. Corruption is hard to fight because it is always enabled or people don't see it. To fight corruption, you just need the right people and effective methods to deal with it.

Sai listened to him and looked away, "Sometimes...the bullies who don't learn end up becoming the worst human beings on the planet." He mutters under her breath. There is some disdain when he says this. He lets out a sigh.

"Sorry." He apologizes to Kunkida, "It's true that some people learn from their mistakes and get a second chance. Not disagreeing with that, sir. But some people don't learn, and end up becoming worse. Those are the ones that got to go." Sai said. "People who make a lot of people's lives worse and kill a lot of people for the benefit of themselves don't learn at all. It's either they were raised like that or they were always like that." Sai frowns with his arms crossed, leaning back against the wall.

"Maybe...the Phantom Slasher has to kill some criminals not because it's the right thing to do." Sai said. "Maybe it's because he doesn't want anyone to become a victim of these bad guys, you know?"

"It's like..giving the Joker too many chances and he ends up killing innocent people in the future, you know? Batman can't kill him because of his moral code which I respect! But it shows us...that you can't rely on courts to do their job properly if Joker is out and about, doing the same over and over again." He said, giving that analogy since Kunkida brings up likening Batman to Phantom Slasher.

Sai hates giving people second chances and along the way they screw up, hurting innocent people in the process or worse killing people by not turning over to a new left.

So he is careful about whom he spares.

"And people who lost the ones they cared about. It might not be justice. It's...more like closure so the victims can move on properly." Sai said. That's all it is. "Guess...that's what I think..."

No, I’m not talking about using your muse as a means to say THIS ISN’T OK! (I mean having your muse say/think they don’t like something when it’s really YOU who doesn’t like it. Most people tend to participate in proper roleplay etiquette and always recognize that the muse’s opinions don’t reflect the mun’s)

No, I’m not talking about ignoring someone and expecting them to just miraculously read your mind and instantly know how they fucked up.

No, I’m not talking about sending people anon hate and telling people they should give up on the things they love and kill themselves because they triggered you

I’m talking about sending an ask WITHOUT ANON or an IM and saying “Hey _______ is making me uncomfortable. Can you stop doing that?” or “ *insert subject matter here* is triggering to me. Please tag it/Let’s not roleplay that.”

There are some people like me who have piss poor social skills or just can’t really pick up on subtle social cues for whatever reason.

There is no reason to ignore someone and have them wondering for the next however the hell long what they could’ve possibly done wrong to have a good friend of theirs suddenly want nothing to do with them.

There is no reason to exploit the anon system to try in order to get your point across without suffering the consequences. (Hey sweetie, you wouldn’t be using anon to say that shit if you didn’t know ahead of time that it was fucked up AND YOU KNOW IT!!!)

BEING SHY/AFRAID OF CONFRONTATION/MENTALLY ILL/PISSED OFF DOESN’T EXCUSE YOU FROM COMMUNICATING YOUR ISSUES IN A CLEAR AND CIVIL MANNER, AND BEING A DECENT HUMAN BEING!!! 

I know I may sound like a royal angry bitch right now, but I honestly don’t care. I’m only asking that you respect your friends and rp partners enough to do these basic things.

Phantasos couldn’t help but laugh at Taru’s reaction. “How feisty. ~ You know most would be flattered to be called cutie.”

Phantasos hummed as her hand hovered over Taru’s hair almost as if she wanted to pet her.

“And how would you kill me with no sword?” She was amused by Taru’s threat. It was almost as if Phantasos was daring the human to attack her.

The 'human' in question just stood there with her arms crossed in front of her chest. But once touched by the person in front of her, who looked like how she imagined her twin brother, her hand immediately reached out for her sword. There was none she would trust enough - especially not her brother - blindly. In every literal way.

However, her weapon was not there. Taru wasn't scared nor curious, for distrust still reigned over her emotions more than anything else. She had witnessed far worse things within the abyss.

"Are you wishing for death?", she asked with no particular emotion in her voice. But with the way her eyebrows were knitted into a frown, it showed her current disapproval, "If so, call me cutie one more time.".

An anonymous person from my starlightofdream blog ask:  So what are some of Regulus' fears? What are the sorts of things that will keep him up at night either from fear or from overthinking?

So what are some of Regulus’ fears? What are the sorts of things that will keep him up at night either from fear or from overthinking?  

Oh boy, it has been so long since anyone ever sends me any serious questions for any of my muses haha. I am very sorry for my word rambling and I hope this all makes sense and that I didn’t miss anything important.

Regulus’ fears are loneliness, abandonment, loved ones dying, and failure. Sorry, no funny fears here, unfortunately.

Loneliness and Abandonment: Despite Regulus appearing like a social person who loves to be surrounded by people, he had a pretty lonely childhood. Regulus is someone who loves to be around and interacting with people while his father is the complete opposite. In fact, Ilias was a hermit. When he was younger, he would travel with his father, sometimes stopping by at villages but mostly living in the wild. When they do stop at villages, they would only spend a few days there. Regulus would play with the children for a while and then he would have to leave to never see them again. This was all pretty lonely for Regulus, never having full human contact for a long time but he didn’t care at that time because he had his father with him and that was all that mattered. Other than that, he lived in the forests away from human contact for most of his childhood. Even worse, Regulus even mentioned in the manga that whenever his father would leave him alone for hunting or other reasons, he would cry and cry for his father to come back. He stated that he hated and was afraid of being alone. He hates the loneliness. While he is accustomed to being alone, that doesn’t mean he would like it. After his father died and he was forced to even be more alone, alone with his own thoughts of despair and guilt. (There is a whole separate headcanon that I wrote about this) But loneliness is now even scarier to him. All of these experiences help create this fear of loneliness and abandonment.

The point and summary of this are that it is extremely important that children grow up surrounded by different people, family, friends, etc. That is how they grow emotionally and mentally. Taking that away would affect a child’s growth greatly and also create fear like loneliness and abandonment especially when Regulus has nobody in his life other than his father. So when his father died, of course, he is going to feel lost and alone and abandoned. To further add to this point, because of how he has been living, he always wanted to be a normal child and live a normal life. What makes it even sadder is that after his father died, Regulus never cried again because he realizes that he had nobody to protect him and he had to be strong now, he isn’t allowed to cry or be weak or be a normal child like he always wanted. To him, crying is a luxury that he can’t afford. On a random note, due to all of this, it makes me realize maybe this is why he is subconsciously attracted to lonely people and keeps making friends with lonely people in my threads haha XD

After his uncle found him and brought him to the Sanctuary, he treasured the feeling of no longer being alone and being surrounded by people. The reason why he is sociable and wants to talk to everyone is because he is scared of being alone again. He just wants to be surrounded by people and wants people to like him. He is happiest when he is with people and not alone again.

Loved ones dying: The first time he experienced loss is when his father died and that was a shock to him since he always thought his father was the strongest and he was the most important person to him. The loss made him realize the harshness of this world and how anybody can easily die at any moment especially during the Holy War where so many saints were dying. He is afraid of losing the people he loved, he knows it will happen and he is prepared for it since this is war but that fear is never going to go away.  

Failure: Regulus is a person who always tried their best whether it is to make a person proud/please the person or it is to become stronger for his goal. He doesn’t want to fail because failure could mean many things for him. Failure to become strong enough to accomplish his goal. Failure to protect the innocent or the people he cared about. Failure in his mission, therefore, failure in being the saint that his father and uncle would want him to be. He is scared of those failures so he tries his best to be the best and to not fail.

Nightmares: He doesn’t have any nightmares of being alone or abandoned as strange as that sounds. His nightmares are mostly just his father dying. It is his memory that would play again from that day when his father died. Regulus has an extremely good memory so he remembers every little detail of his father’s death and he is still haunted by it. Either way, his nightmares are still related to his fears.

Overthinking: Regulus doesn’t overthink a lot but that doesn’t mean there aren’t times he thinks about his fears or worries but he rarely allows that to happen. He usually puts himself around people or is busy with something so he doesn’t have time to think about the negative things. Regulus has the mindset of he doesn’t want to burden anybody with his doubts and fears and he has to be strong because he can’t afford to be that scared and weak child in the past. So he pushes everything away, he pushes the fear, the doubts all of them in the back of his mind so he doesn’t want to think about it. It is just easier for him to continue smiling like that. Even when he does have the fear and doubt happening right now, he continues to smile and pretend that everything is okay.

Kunikida checked his watch. 3:05 pm. It seemed that Atsushi was five minutes late to their appointment. Usually, Kunikida would be annoyed at the boy since he was a man who valued time and appointments, however, this time, he was worried. Was Atsushi okay? Was there a reason why he was late? Did the mafia held him back, not wanting him to meet up with a member of the Armed Detective Agency? Atsushi used to work for them, however, because of the deal the President made with Mori, they had no choice but to let one Armed Detective Agency member go. Nobody wanted to go but Atsushi volunteered. Even now, Kunikida felt guilty for not trying hard enough to stop Atsushi from volunteering himself. Atsushi found a place with them and now, he was forced to work for the mafia instead. The mafia was very different from the Armed Detective Agency. Was Atsushi alright working in the mafia?  

Kunikida heard the door open and looked up to see it was Atsushi who had come in.

“You are late.” Kunikida took a good look at the boy, checking to make sure he looked healthy and well taken care of. “Are you taking care of yourself? How have things been for you?”

Leo Regulus - Clemetine

Portrayer Phantasos - Cherry

To quote some man on tinder: "you're here for a good time, not a long time". You can come across, at times, slightly tart, carrying a bit of a bite to you that not everyone can handle. That’s okay: you’re an acquired taste!

Ember Bi Fang - Pomegranate

The pomegranate is most famously attributed to the Greek goddess, Persephone. Though versions of the story differ: with some saying Persephone was tricked into eating pomegranate seeds to be trapped in the underworld, and some saying she willingly chose to eat the seeds. Pomegranate's have a hard exterior that is tough to crack. Your hard shell is a natural protectant and keeps you safe from those that only wish to use you. Internally you are rich with bounties. You believe in living your life passionately and vibrantly. The idea of surrendering to a fate of being confined to anything, whether it be a relationship, a job, or family dynamic where you are not happy and lack agency is a terrifying prospect. It is fears like this which also prevent you from opening up and showing vulnerability to those around you. However, like the pomegranate whose seeds sparkle like gemstones, you hide inside you incredible beauty that only the most worthy deserve to see.
