I don't know Saori Kido enough but from my knowledge, there is an interesting difference between Saori Kido and Sasha.

Sasha is Athena who acts more human than goddess.

Saori is Athena who acts more goddess than human.

Let me explain. Throughout the Lost Canvas manga, Sasha talks a lot about how amazing humans are but also how much she loves being a human and the experience of being human. She loves her humanity despite her sufferings and the flaws of being human. Even when she lost her cosmos and divinity as Athena, she was still able to wear the Athena cloth (a cloth specifically for divinity) and stood up against Pandora. Despite the flaws, sins, and suffering of humanity, humans are still capable of strength, hope, and love.

In Saint Seiya, Saori talks about how amazing humans are but that is it. I don't remember or think there was a time that she ever talk about her experience being a human or her humanity. I could be completely wrong about this.

I also think this is also how they were raised and lived differently. Sasha was a poor orphan. Her experience is more similar to the humans in the 18th century. Most of the saints are also like her, orphans living in proverty. When you think of humans, you think of the suffering and sins we go through.

Saori was raised as rich, privileged and spoiled. She was cruel when she was younger. There is nothing wrong with being raised rich and privileged but her lifestyle is more similar to a deity lifestyle. Gods are generally rich, privileged and ignorant to the people's sufferings and the Saint Seiya deities are cruel to humanity. Saori is still a good goddess in her own way as she understood her own flaws and changed herself to be a better goddess. Unlike the other Saint Seiya deities who did not grow to understand humanity, Saori got to know more about her saints and became better.

Due to how Saori was raised, she was much quicker to accept her identity and duty as Athena while Sasha took a lot longer because of how different her old life is compared to her new one.

This is just from my understanding of Sasha and Saori. I could be wrong since I do not know Saori as well as I do with Sasha but what are your thoughts?

Little update on Ila's portrayal:

When I recreated Ila, I wanted to incorporate (to an extent) her father's wildness, silliness, childishness, and overall spunk into her personality, but that's not really working out for me. I absolutely adore characters like Bumi, Bumi 2nd, and Maito Gai, but writing them is something else. 

So, that means I'll test the waters with Ila and see how she eventually turns out to be. She's still a work in progress. One thing I notice is that she's really curious. 

That being said, I usually don't write my OC's personality down if they're fairly new, but for Ila, I wanted to try and stick to what I envisioned. It's easy for me to write the “mum” type with her occasional sassiness. 

Feedback is always welcome. I like to know what other people think. It helps a lot!

I just realized Saint Seiya is one of the few animes that doesn’t have a beach filler episode. Give the saints some beach time! They deserve the rest after everything that happened to them! We want them to have fun and we want sexy fan service lol.

I still can't believe how broken the Tumblr report system is and whatever keeps deleting blogs.

Some blogs that don't have anything on it, get deleted, but blogs that order people to commit suicide, bully them, slander their reputation just remain and keep hurt people - and possible get them hurt and killed- and Tumblr just allows these blog to keep existing.
