The more you write, the more you discover your writing style, the more you develop the craft. So write, write even if you think it’s not good enough. Write to master the process of writing.

you got it
the question, you see, is not ‘is it too ooc for this character to cry’ but rather ‘what circumstances would push this character to cry’
this is the whump wisdom, go forth and make that character cry

i mean i don't enjoy the music but I'm not hopping into other people's cars to turn off their radio. although the super fans are a bit weird to say the least,
I am only incidentally a fan of some of Taylor Swift's stuff and I am no fan of her as a person.
But whatever is going on with all the people that hate Taylor Swift I don't want it. Y'all seem so miserable.

it's not hard to write a few thousand words the problem is making sure it doesn't look like a random word generator that can't spell wrote it
me 250 words into a chapter: Gosh, how am I gonna make this at least 2500 words?
me at 6193 words on accident: Uh

i love having ocs because i'm a cruel and uncaring god to them. i can be like "what if your name was sylvester" and there's nothing they can do about it.

people are using the corpse of their dead god as currency, this is lessened by the fact that their god used to be a moon and is now a bunch of tiny pieces floating around the planet in a ring.
also the three celestial bodies are named after the three Musketeers unintentionally. basically i named the ring(formally moon) "Athos" and i searched up the name to see if it's been used already, and apparently it's the name of one of the three Musketeers so i figured i would just borrow the other two so i didn't have to come up with a name for the planet and the sun (whom i called Armanis and Porthos respectively)
also probably should have started with this, any object of sufficient mass gains a consciousness so basically any planets, moons, suns, black holes, and sumsuch and they are also able to tamper with physics on a local level depending on how big they are.
so uhh yeah there's some tidbits that quite literally have never been spoken aloud ( although i suppose they still haven't)

the worst part of world-building is understanding that you will never make a religion so integrated into the culture, language, and media as one that developed naturally
like think about how much christianity permeates our culture, ideals, language, curses, media its so ingrained that i don't think i have seen a single work of fiction get even close to it
like sure you can have people use people from mythology as curses and sure you can try to implement it into the culture but it will never be nearly as subtle as the bullshit we have (side note is there is a book that does this well please tell me i would love to read it)
