so, hi. been a while!

i accidentally powerwashed my chromebook. yknow, the thing i do art on. the thing i had all of the files for falling from dawn stored on. yeah, everything’s kinda gone now!

i’m not sure when or if i’ll get the motivation back for this au. don’t get me wrong, i really REALLY want to continue it! i had a ton planned for it, and i dont want all of the time i spent planning to go to waste!! but i just…

it’s hard to recover from this. when i say i lost everything, i mean everything. it’s taken a lot of motivation out of me.

feel free to send me questions you may have about the au or what was planned for it! im willing to share if i cant get my motivation back, and who knows, maybe you’ll get a shitpost doodle out of it.

I had a dream recently where my psychologist started asking me about my friend and I just said "no" and almost slapped her in the face and then we went out into the waiting room and she said "it's okay i have a tweet for this" and went up to the printer and all that came out was raw hamburger patties and I still don't know what to think about it

The Weight Of Us ~ Leo slowly accepting that he's probably gonna die here, even though he's not ready to.

Way to You -> How Do I Say Goodbye ~ Realization hits that he'll never see his family again; the scene where he smiles at the picture is a good end point for this section.

If I Die Young -> Golden Hour ~ Krang Prime kicked him through the wall. Ouch.

Wake Up ~ Everyone processing all the things that just happened.

Goodbye ~ Memories of good and bad times are flashing by for literally everyone involved. I was specifically thinking of the lines "Am I right back where I started fourteen years ago?", "I swear to God that all I've ever wanted was a little bit of everything all of the time, a bit of everything all of the time, apathy's a tragedy and boredom is a crime, I'm finished playing and I'm staying inside", and "When I'm fully irrelevant and totally broken, dammit, call me up and tell me a joke. Oh shit... you're really joking at a time like this?" because those lines just RADIATE Leo to me.

Achilles Come Down ~ I don't really have a good thought process for this one. It just felt right to add.

Brother -> Talking to the Moon ~ "Leo never gave up on us, I'm not giving up on him." Mikey trying to ahold of his mystic ability so he can try to save Leo.

The Good In Me -> This Is Gospel ~ Leo casually having a breakdown

Masterpiece Theatre ||| -> Blame ~ Mikey gets the portal working; Raph and Donnie help him; Leo sees the portal opening.

Frame of Mind -> Take Back the Night ~ "Took you guys long enough." Eye contact is made with Leo, Raph starts pulling him out, Krang Prime appears to try to kidnap Leo, Donnie beats the crap out of them with the drill.

I Lived ~ Everyone making sure Leo isn't freaking dead, sources show He Lived

Hey Brother -> Soldier, Poet, King ~ "Eww! Are we on Staten Island?!" Everyone starts recovering <3

Hey Look Ma, I Made It ~ Casey and Leo's (Mostly Casey's) realization that they've finally won. In Casey's case (that's. certainly a phrase.), this stands for him telling future!Leo that he accomplished what he was sent to do. For Leo, it's that he saved his future self's brothers and family from dying.

I can never save him. I'll never see him again. Ever.

Casey's thoughts echoed from the darkest parts of his soul, and he wanted nothing more than to rip it out of his body if only to stop the pain it was causing him.

But there was nothing he could do.

His fate won't change.

so @intotheelliwoods has absolutely shattered my heart and soul with 2AL recently and this is revenge for that.

Casey's dreams had been haunted ever since the incident had occurred.

He could never save Nardo. It didn't matter what he did. It didn't matter how much he begged or fought.

The outcome was always the same.

The worst part, for Casey, was always Nardo's last words. A broken cry of "I'm sorry" was always what he heard before his father figure's very soul was ripped away from him.

Tonight was no different. The void of ooze and goo was swallowing everything. Everything except for him.

Casey, once again, was made to listen to the horrible words. The mocking echo of "run," the way Nardo was engulfed in the pitch black sludge... all of it.

He felt himself move this time. His sadness and horror sharpened into a pure, unbridled rage much quicker than usual.

Casey felt himself run. Towards his sensei, not away. He refused to run away anymore. He had to try. Even if it wasn't real. Even if it wouldn't bring him back.

He could feel the slimy ooze around him, but his body refused to stop. He ran harder, harder, harder-

And then, Casey broke free. He threw himself at Leo as he heard that same broken cry he'd heard so many times, trying desperately, in vain, to save some part of him.

Casey gripped the last bit of his sensei's scarf, holding it in a white-knuckled grip, refusing to let go as it began to fade in his grasp.

Casey screamed. A scream of heartbreak, rage, sadness, and so many other emotions he couldn't even think of. He couldn't even feel Nardo or the entity's presence anymore.

He soon found himself sitting upright in his bed, arms wrapped so tightly around himself that it was difficult to breathe.

Casey wanted to go home. He wanted to see them again. But it was never going to happen.

Because it can never happen.

Because fate won't change.

At the very start of the games, FFD!Leo absolutely slaughtered @rye-enjoying-things' Donnie with a rock.

FFD!Donnie saw this and ran away like the man running emoji.

After all that mess, FFD!Leo proceeded to make a little figurine because the adhd kicked in and he got bored.

Soon after, @shittygaypornmagazine's Full Lair!Present!Leo stabbed FFD!Donnie in the chest with a stick, which immediately killed him. FFD!Leo saw this.

FFD!Leo, having just seen his brother die, proceeded to cry himself to sleep, because that's what you DO when you see your brother die. I did NOT feel like drawing this, have rise movie screenshots instead.

The next morning, FFD!Leo was stalked by @angelpuns' Kid Leo AU Donnie.

AND THATS EVERYTHING THUS FAR! i am still in shock that my leo committed one of the first murders of the games but ykw, you go funky gay man. kill people!!!
