Vivid Memories

It's finally finished. I really wanted to do a Frieren print for conventions this year, and in my foolishness I said "you should have flowers!! A big spiral of flowers! Lots of them!!" To save myself time, I drew like 9 flowers, made 7 brushes out of them, but then shaded them all individually. I can only evolve so much - I regret nothing.

My favourite aspect of the show are the quiet moments, and I wanted to capture that in this piece.

As one can see, I had a strong idea of what I wanted from the start.

As always, major props to @armatages for helping me with final colour balancing and really making things -pop- I'll update when the print is available on our convention blog. No ETA at the moment, it'll likely be after August conventions tho.

Hey everyone! My big set of 55 character designs for $30 is currently a part of the Palestinian Relief Bundle over on itch.io, for only $8.

This scene is even more magnificent if you look at the individual frames. He actually takes the pen out with the checkbook and tosses it into his other hand and spins it around without even looking at what he’s doing. You can see the pen go flying through the air in the gif too but I somehow never even noticed this before until just now. You are such a show off, Kaiba. XD
