If Charles had spent much time fighting Carlos (who was on much fresher tyres and was setting fastest laps at the end of the race), he could have put himself in trouble with Lando behind him who did not waste tyres on fighting Carlos. It was the obvious decision to preserve both Charles' track position that he made up by doing so well on the one-stop and Ferrari's 3-4.

if ferrari are more worried about the wcc than charles being p2 in the standings then I need maranello to burn down and that's all I'll say about that.

It's five points and we're in the fourth round of the season. We do not care about the WDC at the moment. What Ferrari did might have actually saved Charles some WDC points because if he had cooked his tyres fighting Carlos he could've lost a position to Lando who did NOT cook his tyres fighting Carlos. It was completely the right call on Ferrari's part AND Charles' part and I think we should be focusing on the positives (the masterclass drive that Charles just pulled off) rather than the negatives. Today was a good day!

I love Charles but you all may end up making me dislike him because of how you are acting. “He deserves the podium because-” yes he raced well, nonetheless, Carlos was catching him up, that was inevitable. If we talk about people deserving the podium I think we can talk about other people on the grid as well then.

But don’t you dare weaponize what happened with Jules as a way to justify anything. You keep throwing that Charles deserves a podium because of what happened there, and even if it would be beautiful to see, it doesn’t entitle him to anything. Maybe I’m the only one, but I actually find that it’s a sickening comment to use this event for your agenda and bring it up that way.
