Listening to TTPD, do you think Taylor is now in a phase where wants to get married, have kids and settle down soon or is it just her anxiety from her 6 year relationship breaking down speaking? There are so many marriage references on this record. Was she in denial mode during the lavender haze ' 1950s shit they want from me' era?

I think she is expressing frustration that her 6 year relationship ended like it did and feels rejected I don’t think anyone just wants to get married. Well if they do they will learn why that’s not the best way to go about it

HS would not interrupt the wedding. At this stage I think he'd just sit and watch and maybe express himself through songs. She's too much drama for him at this stage and seeing the spectacle with MH and now TK must be a turnoff. I know he had the whole OW spectacle but recently he has been more low-key.

Does this marriage/engagement talk, even if it's not coming directly from Taylor, all seem like really really obvious bait for Harry? As in…do you think she'd go so far as to get engaged to Travis just so Harry has no choice but to be the one who interrupts her wedding, like she talked about. It's as if she's begging for it. Talk about an ultimatum.

Liam Payne told the story Lift story and it was him, Harry, Ed and Taylor to Z100, he doesn't say when it was, but I would guess with Ed and his parents there there it was maybe the MSG afterparty

"I got in a lift once, my parents were there, this is a really random story, and Taylor Swift was in the lift. I was in the lift, Harry was in the lift, Ed Sheeran, and my parents. And the story about them making out with her parents in the lift is New Years Eve after the ball drop. It's GQ Australia i think but I can't find it. Also i think it was around the time he took her to his mother's house right? Or was it a different time

Hi, that's a great ask! thank you It is GQ Australia from May 2018, and it is not online but it is on eBay at the moment and you can read the quote in it, it isn't actually a direct quote of Ben's but it reads:

"Styles has known Winston for years, heeds his advice, trusts his advice from the outside, in. Styles even lived in his loft in Hampstead Health for a short period for time; providing a shelter away from the press and public at a time when the band were bigger than Coca-Cola. I think she was talking to harry about leaving the industry back in 2020 when they were in touch. She thought Lover was gonna her last because they won't tolerate her anymore in the industry in her 30s. Maybe that's why he wrote those line. He didn't want to her to lose everything she built from ground up. Then folklore happened...thank God for that. And he also says he doesn't wanna lose what he has too in MFASR

And when she wrote The Prophecy she might not have wanted to quit but was certainly not in a good place about fame money and love and how her life has turned out and the same things keep happening in her relationships

Yes I always thought MFASR is saying it shouldn’t be a choice, and Taylor’s interest in Burton/taylor etc seems to want that both successful partnership, but maybe it’s about the career risk at a point in time

Now the "suit and tie, in nick of time" and "Mr. Steal Your Girl and make her cry" lines would make sense if Calvin actually proposed at the end of their relationship or maybe they were talking about it and then April 29th happened. He stole her from Calvin in the nick of time and then eventually made her cry.

They will get there, but they aren’t actually right, yet. Also… the way they say ‘longest public’ means they know it’s BS.

Harry and Taylor were linked from the kids choice, there was media and they were asked about it in interviews, there was more interest then as they were seen backstage together and the Bieber reports, it was a hard launch till NZ happened. From the kids choice to blue dress on a boat was 282 days…. By then Harry was referred to on Red in more flattering ways that so high school.

Travis attended the Eras tour 277 days ago, then they built the interest with the friendship bracelet phone number meet cute, so not a hard launch. But I count it as the start of the pr of it all that was the start of the ‘campaign’. Depends if you think so high school is a love song or a diss track I guess.
