In the background of the wedding you see a smiling Janus walking past with two fortune cookies as he approaches a teenage Roman arguing with his Grandpa Thomas about creativity and youth. Just as it seems like Janus is going to offer the cookies, Virgil and Logan knock those things to the ground.

“It worked for you guys!” Janus says innocently.

“Janus I am ratting you out to your daughter.”

Freaky Friday AU

16 year old Virgil is about to have the worst day of his life, as if his high strung, high maintenance, highly opinionated father getting married to patton tomorrow, his little brother remus constantly pissing him off on purpose wasn't bad enough, and his dad refusing to let him skip the rehersal dinner to go to some battle of the bands that night, they just had a big fight that ended with- uh oh- A BODY SWAP!

Virgil and Logan's relationship is very fractured, Logan cannot fathom why Virgil is still clinging to the past and can't just move ln from when his mom died but Virgil can't understand why Logan would ever feel like he could move on ans just get remarried like nothinh happened.

This body swap does not only lead to wacky hijinks, like when Virgil gives Logan a make over complete with blue hair dye and pierced ears and logan is mortified, Logan figuiring out virgil got a tattoo behind his back, virgil lamenting that he's old as hell now, Logan dealing with school bullies and sweaty teen hormones that are messing with his head, Virgil pretending like he knows what he's talking about when a magazine comes by to interview him for a book he wrote (poor guy thought writing process meant "i think of words and write them down), Logan having to preform in that battle of the bands thing since virgil promised his friends he would do it, but also angst and sadness.

At one point they honest to go dont think they will ever switch back and Logan promises that even if he has to relive his life all over again and Virgil misses a huge portion of his life he will find s way to taks care of him and protect him like he always has.

He even tells Virgil that he will walk him down the isle so he can dump patton because he could never put virgil or patton through that, the good news tho is that this is the action that lets them swap back.

Virgil admits he loves Logan, patton, and Remus and Logan apologizes for ever ignoring him in the first place and they all live happily ever after... for now.
