The one thing that makes me avoid fat positivity is the prevalence of the phrase "fat people can be healthy too"
Ignoring the fact that being fat is bad for your health, (which does not matter you should never shame people for their body mind your business that's gross) is that it makes it about health instead. You are saying that people should be aloud to look however they do so long as they are healthy.
This is just pushing the hate onto those with health issues instead of actually doing anything to get rid of it. Fat people should not be shamed for their body because no one should be shamed for their body.
Saying you shouldn't shame someone because they might be healthy is just continuing to assign morality to health. Don't comment on others bodies, how they chose to live their life or what they do with their body does not affect you, and if it does then you are the problem not them. Just because someone is unhealthy does not make it okay to make comments! Do you have any idea how many invasive and horrific comments people make towards people they recognize as disabled because "they care about our health" or "are just curious" and then get harassed when we don't answer or if we do but not in the way they want? Don't make commenting on unhealthy people okay.
Health has no morality it just is.
Bodies have no morality they just are.

Reminder from someone with actual literal brain damage from a brain injury to stop fucking using "brain damage" and "brain injuries" as a means of describing someone whose opinions you don't like or deem as stupid.
It's ableist and offensive as fuck, and for some reason a lot of leftist people think it's okay to use. I've seen posts replying to right wing racists calling them "brain damaged if you believe this" and "do you have a brain injury? do you not understand X?". Just now I saw a beautiful post about fat people throughout history that was absolutely ruined by opening with "How do we break it to boomers with actual brain damage and nostalgic brainrot, and the 'tradwife' thirsting Andrew Tate fans..." before continuing to say that fat people existed throughout history.
Brain damage does not make you racist. A brain injury doesn't make you stupid, or fatphobic, or unaware of history and politics. Stop fucking using my disability as a catch all to describe people you think are shitty. Y'all use it like it's a replacement for how people used to use the R-slur, which shows you learned absolutely nothing about why the R-slur was wrong to use and decided to throw in other disabilities instead. Fuck off and stop doing it.
(And don't do it with other disabilities either, because I know y'all do.)
I know a lot of people with brain injuries. They're smart, and funny, and compassionate. They learn about the world and care about social issues and wish they could go to protests if their disability won't allow them to. Are there right wing people with brain injuries? Sure, absolutely. But they are not right wing because they have a brain injury, and using any disability as an insult is still fucking ableist.
Tldr - stop using brain damage and brain injury as an insult. It's ableist and incredibly offensive.
Love, your local brain injured/brain damaged pal

you’re sitting across from me in a shitty diner in anywhere, america, and i watch you pour too much creamer in your coffee and i think “i love you.” you look up, catching me staring, and for a moment i think i’m brave enough to say it, but i take too long and the moment passes. i take the balled up straw wraper and flick it at you, pretending that was my plan all along. you laugh. i never want to go another day without hearing that laugh. i think i will have all the time in the world to say it.

I do not have the mental energy to write out a fully fleshed out version of this theory but I want to share - did Reginald set out to adopt a different seven children solely because of his impression of the Umbrellas when he met them in the '60s or, knowing that they were attempting to return to the future, and so would at some point likely return to the academy, did he deliberately want to create a paradox by adopting different children simply to give himself access to more super powered beings making it more likely that he would have seven of them to carry out his plan? Because presumabley in the original timeline that had also been his goal but then, not being able to adopt more than seven kids, coupled with Ben dying, made it impossible. Adopting another seven children, knowing the Umbrellas would also show up would give him access to thirteen people with powers. Yes, when the Umbrellas arrive he tells the Sparrows to get rid of them, but he was drugged and had been for along time and so he may have acted differently if he had been sober and unimpaired.
I don't think he ever intended to take all thirteen through to Oblivion - after all I've seen people point out that he stopped Klaus entering the tunnel as he would be an extra person and therefore could interfere or try stop him (as Allison ended up doing but he thought their deal would stop her interfering), but thirteen children made him more likely to succeed as he has spares in case any die or he loses access to them somehow.
