can you adopt me as well? i'm a nonbinary bi kid overwhelmed by friend drama and by my mom who won't listen to me when i say my schoolwork is too much
of course i can! and i’m sure you’re doing the best you can which is really all anyone can ask of you, pretty much everything is bound to be overwhelming right now and your new dad is very proud of you

you're 18 but adopting kids like. Im 16. Only 2 years younger than you. And I'm Now your kid?? Wild
this ask just made me realize i totally forgot to update my bio, i’m actually 19 now!
and yup, age doesn’t matter when it comes to this family, even if someone’s older than me they’re still my kid as far as i’m concerned!
i actually even have a grandkid now irl (i have quite a few honorary kids from my high school and one of them has adopted a kid of her own, i’m so proud)

Is 1996 on the older end of gen z? I’ve always wondered
tbh i feel like the second half of the 90s is sort of in limbo between being millennial and gen z so i’d say go with whichever generation you feel like you have the most in common with!

ace grayromantic girl here- my family is stressing me out, especially with online school and quarantine and everything. I have 1 missing assignment in my english class ( a class in a language i already SPEAK) and they are not happy about it lmao. can you adopt me and not be upset that online classes are difficult to keep up with please? also is 2005 older or younger gen z bc my little brother keeps calling me a boomer and im about to steal and boil his teeth, ok thanks bye
there’s nothing wrong with having trouble keeping up with classes, this whole situation is FAR from easy and there’s no shame in missing a few things. you’re doing the best you can and that’s what matters
and i’d say 2005 is pretty solidly in the middle of gen z tbh

Is there a discord server for your children? Because if you'd like an Indian certainly not straight child, then well, you have me.
there isn’t at the moment, but if that’s something y’all would like i can try to work on setting one up!
if it happens i’ll probably need some folks to volunteer as mods bc with school and everything it would be hard to manage on my own. but yeah, i’m definitely up for giving it a try to people are interested!

Gen Z culture is hearing everyone around you saying that you're "too young for that" and that you shouldn't know things, but what they really mean is that you can't talk about that.

I'm going back to school soon and I'm scared. I'm so scared. Do I go back to school like my parents want me to or should I choose the cyber option my district is providing me? I don't know if my mental health and my education can survive the hit that purely online would do, but would the physical and psychological damages of covid be worse? I'd really like some advice because I honestly don't know what to do. Thanks for your help
hey, sorry i couldn’t answer sooner! i actually just moved into my dorm for the semester - i spent most of the summer debating whether or not i should go back and i ultimately decided it was best for me to go back. that said, i’m guessing it’s a different situation for you because it sounds like you’re not in college. personally, i would probably pick online in your situation (i’m actually doing all my classes online, just from my dorm room) but i don’t know much about your situation specifically so it’s hard to say what i think you should do
if you pick online, are there ways you might be able to make it easier for yourself (meeting up with friends? could you (safely, of course) meet up with some friends to do the work? do you have access to mental health resources (a therapist, a school counselor, etc)? has your school put anything specific in place to make it easier?
if you pick in person classes, how much of a risk will you be at? are you part of an at-risk group, or is anyone in your family? how has your area been doing as far as numbers of cases? are you comfortable with the safety guidelines your school as set up?
i would suggest (if you haven’t decided already) thinking about things like that and weighing the options that way. it might also be a good idea to figure out whether or not you have the option to switch if you change your mind - i know having the choice to go home if i want to helped me feel better about living on campus

So for you that aren’t on TikTok, Gen Z has started this wonderful thing of trolling trump. And something they are doing to do this is leaving 1 Star reviews on his app to try and take it down!
Tumblr media
And even better! They’re starting to target Fox News too tho it’s a little slower going on that one
Tumblr media
All I’m saying is...it’d be a shame if Tumblr decided to help out ☺️

you can’t raise and entire generation on stories of “chosen ones” and young heros who band together with there friends and overthrow corrupt governments and evil figures and systems, gen z was raised on stories of heros doing what is right and fighting for what they believe in and who were willing to do whatever it takes to make change happen and then expect them NOT TO DO JUST THAT?!?! like wtf did you expect?!? and on top of all that we don’t fear death so there it literally nothing stopping us

Gen z culture is getting too used to how people talk openly about sex, religion, and politics on the internet and then freaking out boomers because there certain things that “you’re just not supposed to talk about”.
