It wasn’t unusual to be running into an idol under the same company.

But it would be a lie to say you weren’t surprised when you basically bumped headfirst into Nishimura Riki one day after practice.

“Shit, my bad-” you said apologetically, taking a step back from him. Ni-ki runs his hand through his hair out of reflex as a glimmer of recognition sparks in his eyes.

“Oh, that’s okay, Y/N.” he let out softly, a bit taken aback.

You quickly noticed the fact that Ni-ki knew your name without you having to introduce yourself prior to the encounter. Seemingly understanding your thoughts as you raised your eyebrows slightly, Ni-ki flushed a gentle colour of pink.

“I mean, not in a weird way- I didn’t mean to call you that. Well, unless I’m allowed to? Because we’re not that close and this is our first encounter. It’s just- well-” Ni-ki fumbled with his words for a moment, then composed himself and settled on the words: “I’m kind of a fan.”

“Oh,” you said thoughtfully with a smile. It was almost unbelievable that Ni-ki, someone you’d admired for a while was here, in front of you, telling you that he was your fan (although half-jokingly).

“Well, we can always get to know each other, right? My fans are quite awesome. Not-biased.” You said, matching his half-joking tone. Ni-ki flashed you a grin.“I think you’re a little bit biased.” he said, letting out a laugh.

There was a slight moment of awkward silence. Both of you didn’t want to leave and Ni-ki was contemplating whether he would regret it if he made a move on the incredibly pretty person in front of him. “Here,” he said, handing his phone to you, “give me your number.”

Even Ni-ki was a bit shocked by how straight-forward he sounded. “So that- so that we can get to know each other.” he tried to sound nonchalant but there was a sincere undertone you could barely make out. Ni-ki immediately relaxed when you took his phone with a smile.

You handed his phone back with your number in it. “Oh, by the way,” you added, “I’m kind of a fan too, Riki.” At the use of his birth name, Ni-ki almost dropped his phone. You laughed at the way his mouth flew slightly open and turned on your heels to leave.

Little did you both know, you’d be calling each other by your names a lot more since then.

(G)I-DLE Reaction to S/O Studying With Glasses

Miyeon

Immediately gets taken aback because the only other person that she knows that looks that good with glasses is herself (ofc)

She kind of just sits down next to you, staring at you with her mouth slightly open

You were too busy rereading your study notes that it took you a bit to realize that your girlfriend had been admiring you for the past minute

When you finally look up at her and see her awestruck expression, you laugh

And Miyeon is even more shocked when she gets a better view of you with your glasses

She quickly cups your face and kisses you softly

“You look really pretty with glasses, Y/N”

Minnie

She always backhugs you while you’re studying as a way of greeting

And when you turn around to complain, she notices the glasses straight away

“You didn’t tell me you had glasses!!”

You tell her something about how it never came up but she’s not listening

At first, she’s too offended that you didn’t tell her you wore glasses to notice the effect it had on her

Then she notices that she’s slightly turned on but tries not to show it because she doesn’t want to disturb you while you’re studying

After the initial shock, Minnie will tell you that you should wear them more often

Soojin

One word: shy

Soojin cooked you some soup and came back to you wearing glasses so you could properly copy down your study notes

She originally was going to say something to you about taking a break but nothing’s coming out of her mouth

Because she’s too busy thinking oh my god my s/o is so attractive

Instead, she hastily hands you a bowl of soup and doesn't say anything

You mutter a “thank you” and you notice that, although Soojin is naturally quiet, she’s being unusually quiet

So you ask her if she’s okay

She’s flustered and doesn’t know what to say

Eventually she’ll say something so softly that you barely catch it

“They look nice on you”

Soyeon

Suddenly the composed charisma leader Jeon Soyeon isn’t so composed anymore

Soyeon’s usually good at not disrupting you while you’re studying because she knows how annoying it can be when she’s disturbed while she’s trying to produce or compose

But as she’s gazing at your concentrated expression, she notices your tongue slightly sticking out and how your glasses perfectly frame your face

Fuck it, she thinks, and sits herself on top of you, straddling you

Soyeon pulls you in for a kiss, running her hand through your hair

She eventually pulls away and you look at her, slightly confused

“It’s the glasses” she admits with a slightly abashed grin

Yuqi

Teases you nonstop the moment she sees the glasses perched on your nose

But also thinks you look kind of hot

Except she doesn’t want to admit it and instead says something like: “You’re such a nerd!!”

Until maybe you kiss her to shut her up

And then she kisses back a lot more passionately than usual

“Okay, okay, I guess they look pretty good on you” she’ll say reluctantly

But you can tell Yuqi secretly likes the glasses

Because barely a minute after you return studying, she pulls you back in for a kiss

And you never end up finishing studying because she pushes you onto the bed before you can say anything else

Shuhua

Probably dramatically gasps when she sees your glasses

“I didn’t know you had glasses!!”

She will ask to try them on just to annoy you

If you refuse, she’ll be pouty until you finally give in

She’ll put the glasses on with pride

“How do I look?”

Then immediately starts singing Nxde

“BABY HOW DO I LOOK-”

Shuhua is also a lot more giggly than usual because she thinks you look so cute

Will also tease you a little (out of love)

But later on will mutter something about the glasses (and you, mostly you) being pretty in Taiwanese
