the jacket. it was a piece of clothing that wallace had stolen from will's ( @guiltye ) room, actually. the jacket was originally bill's and wallace had nothing of his father's after he died. so? wallace stole it from will's room and made it his. and the kid wears the fuck out of the jacket, too. you will never see him without it unless it's the summertime. and when it's hung up? it's neatly hung in the closet by the front door and is the only thing hanging in there so it won't get ruined.

the moment emma felt the demon possessing her , her mind definitely jumped immediately to the few things she didn't want dean to know - which the demon would have immediately used against her .

and i just feel like emma ❛ i'll die before i share even one ( 1 ) feeling ❜ martin probably had to look him in the eye and feel her own lips move and listen to her own voice make fun of her for how she believes she isn't good enough for him or the job she begged to do ( " i mean , she's already gone and gotten herself possessed . . . can you blame her ? " ) and it probably felt a lot like being punched in the gut .

i also think it probably took advantage of all of the bitter thoughts she had in the early days when all they did was fuck and fight and it probably went for both their throats by spilling how worthless he used to make her feel and forcing her to listen to herself hurt him like that . 🫠

before, love was something that did not seem attainable to her. she longed for some semblance of a relationship, but feared that it would hold her back from her career, and so she never allowed herself to free fall into such a scary thing. but now, that love feels like a hunger inside of her, rotting her from the inside out the longer that she keeps it at bay. it's a desperation that is carved out of her, and the temptation of it is expressed with lithe fingers slowly reaching out and taking a gentle hold of the material of his shirt by his abdomen. her feet carries her closer to his orbit, drawing her in like a magnetic pull; sam winchester must have that effect on everyone, selena thinks. with his big, earthly hues and the dimple that caves in his cheeks when he smiles. really smiles. "what if something already has come along and surprised me?"

❝ I'm glad you agree. So, maybe don't give up on what you want jus' yet. Maybe something'll come along and surprise you. ❞ His eyes remain transfixed on her thoughtful expression, a slight squint to them now as he speaks, timid smile twitching at the edges of his lips. What he would give to gain any insight on Selena’s current train of thought. Was his message not coming across? Were they both actively making a choice to avoid turning whatever this is into something deeper? Is that even an option at this point? A brief silence chokes the air around them before Sam chances to lean in, emphasizing his next point with a calculated tilt of his head. selena studies his features as he speaks, and she wishes that she could dissect every syllable and peel back the meaning to them as if they were a tangible thing. there's a stutter within her heartbeat, a pause in the breath she takes in the cavern of her chest, and she has to will herself not free fall across the line that they have been teetering against for so long. "it certainly doesn't have to be," selena agrees, timbre low and soft, humming against her pearl molars. it feels right. "hope is a good thing to have, sam, especially in this world."

❝ I’d just like t’ find someone who understands enough for me to share something with. ❞ Cautious gaze flickers towards her, cheeks warming at his silent offered hint of interest.
