    i've been sitting on this for a little bit and talking to others before making this decision, but moving forward, if someone was previously following me here and on my multi, and decides to softblock my multi but not my Luffy blog here, i will be making the assumption that you no longer want to interact as a whole and will softblock on Luffy as well. even if that isn't the case, it feels really weird to not know how to interact or communicate moving forward, when i don't know what reasons may have caused people to no longer want to follow me on one blog but not the other. if it was maybe a mistake, then feel free to let me know, but if not then here's the why.

   no, it's not a spider, but as luffy's fingers open, a large, dark blue beetle lumbers out slowly onto the other's palm, its head adorned with a prominent, pronged horn.

   the younger brother had stopped listening as soon as the first complaint about him left ace's lips. dark irises wandered instead — to a stowaway ladybug crawling on the sunny's mast, and to the various scuff marks on her deck ( that luffy would later swear look unmistakably like that one old guy at the meat skewer stand the two brothers had emptied earlier in the day ). but the young captain's meandering gaze stopped when attention landed on ace's head, specifically the dark locks that frame the fire fist's face. 

   a nasally hum is released to himself, still ignoring the garbled white noise that leaves the other's tongue. then on impulse, with lips sucked in and eyes seemingly blank and unexpressive, luffy reaches up to feel his brother's hair. 

   as ace's voice fades, dark hues dart back to the larger man's freckled features. the relaxed, soothed expression revealed causes a GIGGLE to bubble up in the straw hat's throat and escape through parted, salt-chapped lips. as ace leans into the touch, luffy's smile stretches even broader, and he increases the motion of rubber fingers intertwining with and scritching through raven strands.

        ❝ ehee hee~ ace! you're like a big dog! ❞ 

@gumpistol , luffy asked : stretches his arm up to give his big bro hair ruffles.

❝  &  another  thing  luffy  's  that  ...  -  ❞  his  words  cut  short  in  a  mere  second.  while  ace  wanted  to  just  compain  about  his  little  brother's  antics  and  probably  start  few  more  new  topics  as  the  fire  fist  had  a  habit  to  mess  up  the  pace  of  conversations.  the  hand  stretched  up  to  rest  on  top  of  his  head  casted  the  man's  thought  blank.  

his  body  reacting  on  it's  own,  relaxing  and  head  lowered  as  if  he  wanted  to  give  luffy  more  access  to  the  top  of  obsidian  locks.  a  satsfied  smile  pulled  itself  up  onto  ace's  visage.  warming  up  the  freckled  cheeks.  he  kind  of  forgot  what  was  he  saying  anyway.  he's  getting  headpats,  so  that's  all  his  mind  was  now  focused  on.

one of my favorite things to do is have little luffy climbing the really tall adults like the monkey he really is, just scrambling up their pant legs, launching from a table onto their backs, grabbing their face and hair to hang on
