Could you write 9 from fluff for Marina? :)
"You took all the pillows so I'm using you as one." - Marina
"Maya I'm done, you can get the film ready!" Carina called from the bathroom.
She heard no response so she assumed Maya didn't hear her, so she got out of the shower and put on a comfortable set of pyjamas, then made her way back down to the living room where herself and Maya were having a movie night. They had binged around 4 episodes of a crime show they had become obsessed with, and were now going to watch a romantic movie, or so Carina thought, anyway.
As Carina arrived back she saw Maya, fast asleep on the sofa. Maya tended to hog all the blankets in bed, so Carina wasn't surprised when she saw that Maya was resting on not one but all three of the pillows. She smiled to herself and admired her wife's beauty for a second.
Carina brought another blanket over from their bed, as it seemed like Maya had no intention of getting up anytime soon.
Carina sat beside Maya and made herself comfortable, lying on her side with her head resting on Maya's lap. She switched off the television and covered the two of them with the blanket.
She was perfectly fine with their movie night ending early if she got to cuddle with her wife.
After a while, Maya opened her eyes slightly and realised Carina was resting on her lap. She wrapped her arms around her wife's frame and gently stroked her cheeks.
"This is a nice sight to wake up to," Maya smiled as Carina looked up at her.
"You took all the pillows so I'm using you as one. Go back to sleep, I know you're tired," Carina smiled back softly.
"I won't argue with you about that," Maya laughed as she leaned back once more, feeling way more relaxed now.

Is it too late to ask for #36 angst for tremmett?
“They warned me about this.” “About what?” “You.” - Tremmett
a/n: there's nothing more i love than delving deep into these characters and relationships, and imagining how they would deal with these sort of problems
"For the hundredth time Trav, if anything gets too much for you I can leave for the night, I don't want to overstep."
"You're not overstepping," Travis sighed. Ever since Emmett and himself had gotten back together, it was the most serious relationship he'd had since Michael. He would be lying to himself if he said that this level of committment didn't get overwhelming at times. Emmett didn't necessarily do anything wrong, in fact he'd shown nothing but love and support for Travis. However, sometimes the pace they were moving at became a bit too fast for Travis to handle.
Instead of admitting this to his boyfriend, who would undoubtedly understand and give Travis the space he needs, Travis would feel too guilty and bottle up all his emotions. This would then lead him to either lash out or become closed off emotionally. What he didn't realise however, was that Emmett instantly realised when things got too overwhelming for Travis, and knew he just wouldn't admit it to him.
"You keep saying that I'm not but it's getting harder to believe you now. I need you to be honest with me if this is going to work," Emmett answered.
"What do you want me to say to you Emmett? That I want you to leave? Because that's not what I want. I'm just tired and frustrated from today's shift, okay?" Travis said, pacing up and down the room, an action which was making Emmett anxious now.
Emmett took a deep breath and sat down on the sofa, mumbling to himself, "They warned me about this."
Travis looked at him and asked, "About what?" which surprised Emmett, who was not expecting Travis to hear him and respond.
"You. Everyone at the station told me about what I was getting myself into. They said that after a long shift or when you're going through something you tend to let all this anger build up inside of you and become really difficult to communicate with. And I get where you're coming from, I really do. I know that you get overwhelmed sometimes too, and it's ok. I just wish you felt comfortable enough to express that to me instead of trying to hide it."
Emmett had been hesitant to express that sort of truth, but he knew it was the only way he might get Travis to talk.
His words seemed to strike a chord in Travis, and he looked defeated as he sat down beside his boyfriend.
"I'm sorry Em. You've been so incredible with me and that scares me, because I haven't felt this way about someone in a long time. And I don't open up to you because I feel guilty for holding myself back from something so amazing. But, I promise I'll try to open up to you more," Travis said, his anxieties calming down.
"That's all I need," Emmett said with a comforting smile.

some prompts ideas for you. travic + carina having a quality time without maya, travic babysit pru, maya consulting with dean about having baby, maya goes to hospital gala with carina, maya interacting with doctor's on greys maybe with helm, you don't have to write everything this is just some ideas! always love your writing! hope you have fun!
Told You So - Marina
The way you told me to have fun in this ask, honestly made me feel a bit soft. It was a very nice touch on an already amazing bunch of prompts! It was so hard to pick which one to write but I hope you're happy with my choice and that'll you send me some more when I'm accepting prompts again. Thank you so much for the prompt...enjoy...
“Wow” was the only thing that Maya could say upon opening up her apartment door to reveal Carina standing outside, looking like a million dollars. Carina didn’t seem to mind the lack of traditional greeting as a large grin spread across her lips, Maya was often so much more eloquent with words so to have rendered her speechless felt like an accomplishment “You look- wow”
“Thank you” Carina replied, already knowing that Maya would be even more lost for words once they inevitably stumbled back to Maya’s place drunk after the gala and she had the opportunity to reveal what she was wearing underneath her ballgown “You look amazing too”
“Are you sure I’m not too underdressed?” Maya asked nervously, looking down at her black jumpsuit. She’d only been talked into accepting Carina’s invitation to be her plus one to the hospital’s annual fundraising gala by Andy and Vic earlier that day, it wasn’t like she had much time to go shopping for an outfit as amazing as the pink dress that was hugging Carina’s figure as if it had been tailor-made for her “I could probably find something else or we could stop by Andy’s, she might have something. Vic is out tonight but I’m sure we could break into her place and-”
“Maya, you look wonderful” Carina interrupted quickly, not willing to let her girlfriend ramble. Girlfriend, it still felt so surreal to call Maya that but it was a term that Carina was near certain she would never grow sick of using when referring to Maya “You don’t have to be so nervous about tonight, my friends and colleagues are going to love you”
“And your brother?” Maya asked, hoping Carina could provide her with some words to ease her mind. She’d heard so much about Andrew that Maya felt she knew him but it didn’t make meeting him for the first time any less daunting, he was important to Carina and Maya knew she had to make a good first impression.
“He’d be an idiot not to adore you” Carina replied, her own admission of love for Maya dying on her tongue knowing it wasn’t something that the other woman was quite ready to hear yet “And if, at any point, you want to leave let me know and we can go. As long as I’m seen talking to at least one donor, Dr Bailey or Dr Fox can’t be mad at me”
“You really are the best”
“I know”
- - - - -
“What table are we at?” Maya asked as Carina led her through the hotel ballroom not once letting go of her hand as they weaved their way through the crowd, and exchanging quick greetings with some of her colleagues.
“This one right here” Carina smiled, as they finally stopped at a round table in the corner of the room which only seemed to have one man sitting at it already “Hey Nico, this is my girlfriend, Captain Maya Bishop from station 19, Maya this is Link, the head of orthopaedics at the hospital”
“It’s so nice to finally meet you” Link admitted, standing up so he could shake Maya’s hand “I’ve heard a lot about you”
“All good I hope” Maya blushed, something about his words exciting her. There was something nice about the idea of Carina gushing to her friends in the same way that Maya gushed about Carina to anyone who would listen “It’s great to meet you too”
“So, where is everybody else?” Carina asked, noticing the discarded purses that lay on their table once she had sat down in the chair that Maya had pulled out for her “They haven’t started mingling with donors already have they?”
“No, nobody wants to do that before dinner,” Link told her, knowing that she was equally as nervous about the gala as he was. Networking was not their idea of a good time “Amelia got dragged away by Pierce to meet someone from Boston and Nico is doing shots at the bar with your brother and Avery. He's trying to get moved away from our table to theirs"
"Why?" Carina asked curiously, wondering if Maya would be annoyed that she and Link were exchanging gossip without catching her up on the situation. It was something that always annoyed her when Maya did with her friends from work so Carina made a mental note not to leave Maya out on the side of the conversation for much longer.
“Schmitt and Helm are at our table and he’d rather not deal with the drama” Link explained in a hushed tone, not wanting to alert any of the guests around them to the topic of their conversation before he turned his attention to Maya “Schmitt and Kim had a messy break up a few weeks ago, it’s going to be awkward if they have to spend the night sitting next to each other”
“It makes sense why he’d want to move” Maya nodded, not noticing the smile on Carina’s face at the way Link had made an effort to not leave her out. Carina loved Maya and it meant a lot that her friends seemed excited to get to know her as well “Otherwise we’ll just have to strategically keep our conversations away from couple stuff”
“That could be hard” Link replied as if contemplating what Maya had said as he waved Amelia and Maggie back to the table once he’d made eye contact with his girlfriend. Both of them had asked that he get their attention when Carina arrived with Maya, feeling excited to finally meet the woman that their friend had been unable to stop talking about for weeks “But I like the way you think…”
“See, I told you it would be fine” Carina whispered once Link had stood up to pull Amelia’s chair out for her upon her arrival back to the table.
“Don’t get too ahead of yourself, I still have to meet your brother”
- - - - -
“Can I get a vodka soda and a gin and tonic please?” Maya asked, brushing her hair out of her face as she spoke to the bartender who nodded at her before moving away from her to ready the drinks.  She quickly glanced toward the table where Carina and her friends were sitting, wondering if they were talking about her. Maya had never really cared much about what others thought of her but she’d felt the need to impress Carina’s friends, all of whom were far more intimidating than her girlfriend had led her to believe.
She wanted so desperately for them to like her.
“You know,” an unfamiliar voice pulled Maya’s attention away from the table, forcing her to look at the man beside her. He was dressed as nicely as any other guest at the gala but there was something so frighteningly familiar about him that she couldn’t seem to place “Usually, I’d offer to pay for your drinks to be a gentleman but it’s an open bar tonight”
“I’m flattered” Maya began, a polite smile on her face as she continued to wonder where she knew this man from “but these drinks are actually for me and my girlfriend”
“Wait, did you think I was flirting with you?” the man asked, his eyes almost comically large with shock. His reaction not being the boost of confidence that Maya needed "You don't remember me, do you Maya?"
"I hate to admit that I don't"
"I'm Andrew DeLuca, Carina's brother" Andrew revealed, laughing at the shock that coated the other woman's face "I did a ride along with 19 last year, I thought you'd recognise me"
"I barely even remember that day, I'm so sorry" Maya replied, causing herself silently. She'd been so determined to make a good first impression on Andrew that she'd somehow managed to forget they'd already met. Maya was certain she wasn't making a good second impression at all.
"It's okay, I mean you do that stuff nearly every day. Makes sense that it was more memorable for me than you" Andrew shrugged, not thinking it was as big a deal as Maya seemingly did. Something which only granted it an ounce of relief "I meant to stop by your table earlier so Carina would be there to make sure I was on my best behaviour like she warned me to be but when I saw you standing here alone, I thought I might as well come say hello"
"See, that sounds like a pick up line" Maya countered, wanting him to know that her assumption was justifiable, making Andrew laugh "This is so not how I thought meeting you tonight would go"
"I mean, same" Andrew nodded as the bartender presented the drinks Maya had ordered to them. He quickly picked up the gin and tonic, aware that it was Carina's drink, before smiling kindly at Maya "Mind if I come back to your table with you? I have to say hello to my sister sometime tonight and I guess there's no time like the present"
"Only if you promise not to tell her that I thought you were some random guy trying to flirt with me" Maya nodded, leading Andrew away from the bar and back towards the table her girlfriend was sitting at. Hoping Andrew didn't think she was completely insane.
"Oh Maya" Andrew shook his head, his tone teasing as he spoke "You know there's no way I can promise that"
- - - - -
"Can I say it now?" Carina asked once she and Maya were sitting in the back of a cab on their way back to Maya's place, Carina’s head resting tiredly on her shoulder.
"Say what?"
"That I told you so!" Carina smiled proudly "Everyone absolutely loved you tonight, you won everyone over before our appetisers had even arrived"
"Really?" Maya asked. If she didn't know how much her girlfriend despised lying  Maya wouldn't have believed her. Of course, everyone she'd met that night had been lovely but Maya had just assumed they were being polite. She had not realized that her mission to make stellar first impressions on those closest to Carina has actually been successful.
"Really, Amelia and Link want to arrange a double date and Helm kept asking if I knew of any other sexy female firefighters that we could set her up with" Carina admitted, making Maya smile to herself "Everyone loves you, especially Andrea. He thinks you're great"
"Yeah, he's pretty great too" Maya told Carina, who was still amused about what her brother had told her upon his arrival at their table earlier in the night "Even though he's probably never going to let me live down the fact I thought he was trying to flirt with me"
"Neither of us are going to let you forget that bella" Carina shook her, the promise to tease Maya about it for the rest of their lives dying on her tongue. It was too early to talk about forever "I would understand why you thought that though, you look so good tonight that it only makes sense that everyone would want to flirt with you"

how's your heart after breaking mine?
ts x jolex week 21
day one: fearless - mr. perfectly fine (taylor's verion) (from the vault)
wc: 2.5k
pairing: Jo Wilson/Alex Karev. Alex Karev/Izzie Steven (mentioned)
summary: years after they last saw each other, jo and alex reunite at a conference, and while she is still struggling from her heartache, he seems to be mr. perfectly fine.
rating: general audiences
category: angst.
warnings: angst, no happy ending, alcohol consumption.
A/N: guess who finished this just now? me. that's who. I was actually working on this one long before the announcement for this event came out, but it gave me the motivation to continue this! Alex is unintentionally an ass in this and for that, i’m sorry. Anyways… hope you enjoy! (first part's pretty crappy, but after that it gets better.)
(this was also proofread, like...once, so of there are a plethora of errors i apologize)
____
The absolute last thing Jo wanted right now was to attend a medical conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. There were multiple reasons why she should’ve said no. One; she had just started her second year of her OB GYN residency a few weeks prior, and there were a very limited number of lectures on her new line of study where she was headed. Two; she now held an absolute hatred for the Seattle Tacoma International Airport, since it was the place where her ex-husband stood before her, placed a soft kiss on her lips and promised to see her in a couple of weeks, lying to her face about seeing his mother in Iowa, when in reality he was going to see his ex-wife and kids, never really planning on returning home.
It was ironic really; how not even two years ago, she was standing in front of gate 48, saying goodbye to him, and now she stood in the same spot, in front of the exact same gate, with him nowhere near her side as she glared up at the same exact entrance she last saw him at.
(She also now hated the number forty-eight)
But, since Meredith had been hounding her non-stop about attending this event, she gave in. Because how was she supposed to say no to the woman who had barely survived the pandemic? Along with a plethora of other things she was too lazy to memorize. (The answer was that she couldn’t. She felt guilty for leaving Meredith behind for OB, so she now did whatever her former mentor wanted, even if more than two years had passed) If Meredith Grey asked for something, Meredith Grey got it. She was turning back into the intern who cried fake tears and would do anything to earn her approval, and Jo was not a fan.
“It’ll be good for you Wilson. You need to leave that loft of your’s and go somewhere Wilson, blah blah blah,” she mutters to herself as she shows the attendant her ticket, not even bothering to return the smile, settling on brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear instead. The messy bun on the top of her head bounced in place, and she felt like a college student after a night of studying, but rather than books tucked under her arm it was a neck pillow and a carry-on.
She shuffles into her seat, thankful that it was an aisle one before letting her eyes shut, trying to catch a wink of sleep in an attempt to make up for the less than few hours she had gotten the night before. It proves to be unsuccessful, because the businessman sitting next to her ate his chips so loud she had to restrain herself from coiling into herself every time a chip crunched beneath his teeth, and the toddler behind her continuously managed to kick her seat, no matter how many times his mother told him to stop.
After three hours of loud chewing, seat kicking, and crying babies, she lands in Salt Lake, taking in a deep breath when she finally escapes the crowded airport and is met with humid air. She picks up her rental car, and arrives at her hotel not long after, immediately tossing her bags into the corner and sprawling onto the bed. Eventually, she moves to unpack her clothes and other necessities, casting a glance at the clock which read 10:37.
Taking a look around the room, she decided that nothing more needs to be done; all of her makeup is laid out for the morning, and what she chose to wear is already hanging up in the closet, freshly ironed and wrinkle-free. She yawns, crawling under the covers and flicking off the light, sleep coming easily.
When she wakes up the next morning to her alarm clock going off, she’s freshly rested and in a better mood than she normally was when she had to wake up before nine. The early morning sun beats down onto her face, and she knows that if she wanted to get to the first lecture on time, she needed to start getting ready sooner rather than later.
With a sigh, she begrudgingly gets out of bed, hopping in a quick shower and changing into her clothes. She adds some soft waves to her hair, in the hopes that it made her look more put together than she felt. It didn’t seem that just because she got hours of sleep made up for the fact that she would rather be curled up in the soft sheets of her bed at home than the stiff ones the hotel provided.
It doesn’t take long until she’s arrived in the lobby, where doctors all around her were dressed in firmly pressed suits and skirts. Tables advertising different events throughout the day were lined up and down the hallways, fellow surgeons and mentees passing out little pamphlets with information about their courses littering the pages.
Jo passes by a few stands displaying lectures on the OBGYN field, mentally making a list of the ones she would like to attend.
A quick glance to her watch tells her that the first item on her list was starting soon, and with that she dumps the now-empty coffee cup she had ordered a few minutes prior as a pick-me-up, and shuffles into the seat of the auditorium, the chairs around her filling up quicker than she expects.
It’s only a few minutes later Dr. Maria Cavanaugh steps out onto the stage, silencing the crowd after a round of applause. Jo leans back into her seat, feeling grateful that Meredith had pushed her to go to this conference.
If her whole weekend is spent listening to experts talk and teach about her new specialty, she thinks she’s going to enjoy it.
____
It’s hours and a multitude of lectures later when she exits another grand room, fellow surgeons beside her chatting about the new information they’d acquired. She feels a small smile grace her lips as she realizes that the excited squeals could only come from the med school students that had been invited from the nearby college.
She pulls out her phone, seeing a text from Link and Meredith, both along the lines of that they hoped she arrived safely and that she enjoyed her time away from home. She responds, pocketing her phone and making her way to the hotel bar, settling into one of the few empty seats and ordering a whiskey sour, thanking the bartender when it's placed in front of her not even a minute later.
She sips the drink slowly, feeling some leftover tenseness from sitting all day leave her body as the alcohol starts to flow through her veins. She was far from drunk, but even saying tipsy felt like too much of a stretch.
Pleasantly buzzed, she decides on, taking another sip of her drink, making a brief second of eye contact with a man on the other end of the bar. He raises her glass with a slight nod of his head, and she does the same. She’s tempted to continue; take use of the way the man’s making subtle glances to the seat next to him when her ears pick up another conversion from a few feet away, freezing her in place, glass nearly dropping to the floor.
“Do you want anything?”
“Just a water’s fine. I’m gonna go talk to Dr. Conwell about some of the research her and her team were talking about.”
She turns in her seat, against her better judgment. She watches as he kisses her cheek before leaning against the bar’s counter a few feet away.
She feels as if ice had just been dropped down her back —frozen in place, unable to move as she watches Alex drum his fingers on the dark wood, head nodding along to the soft tune playing through the speakers. He grabs his drinks from the bartender; two waters, one with ice and one without, about to walk towards the woman he was with earlier when he spots her.
“Jo?” he questions, blinking multiple times as if to see if it was really her, and not a trick of the light.
She wants to run when he makes his way over to her. She wants to run, and scream, and throw her drink in his face. But instead, she places a tight, thin smile on her lips and acts as if nothing was wrong.
“Alex, hi!” She turns to face him, her voice too high for her enthusiasm to be true, but if he knows it he doesn’t make any move to show it.
He runs a hand through his hair —it's longer than the last time she saw it, a bit of grey speckled in so lightly that it wouldn’t be noticeable to someone who wasn’t looking.”I uh, I didn't know you’d be here.”
She wants to roll her eyes, but refrains. “Well,” she spins her drink with the straw, watching as the ice cubes clink against the glass “The feeling’s mutual.”
“How are you?” He asks after a few beats of silence, and she wants nothing more than to yell at him that he couldn’t talk to her like this —like they were old friends who had lost contact after a while, and were due for a catch up. Because they weren’t old friends. They were so far from friends that someone could build a bridge with the amount of space they had between them.
“Fine,” she lies through her teeth, her heart nearly beating out of her chest in nervousness. She was worried that she was going to break down at any second, spew the words that she had said to Carly in anger at him if he looked at her any longer as if things were okay between them.
“You?” she questions, not interested in the answer, sipping her drink similarly to how she had the night of Bailey’s wedding, the unwelcome memory of the start of their relationship blossoming to the front of her mind.
He sips his water, “Good. I’ve been good.”
With his hand clasped around the glass she catches sight of the pristine, shiny gold ring that sits on his fourth finger, and she has to fight back the growing lump in her throat that threatens to escape.
“Congrats,” she says instead, eyebrows pinched together as she nods towards the ring, a tell that always told whether or not her words rang true.
He seems to have forgotten that, and takes her words as a compliment. He gives her a small smile, “Thanks.”
Jo wants to laugh, because this was so far from the Alex Karev she had known, the man in front of her unfamiliar and so, so different from the one she married years ago. The Alex she knew would’ve never ordered a water instead of a beer, or act as if everything was okay between them when it was so far from it.
He’d changed, and she couldn’t say that she liked it.
“How are the kids?” she asks, and she can tell that she’s surprised him. He looks taken aback for a moment, before smiling gently and reaching into his pocket for his phone. “They’re great,” he says, pulling up a photo of them, the twins smiling brightly into the camera.
“That was at their birthday party last week,” he explains, and she notices the large 7 balloons that are floating in the background.
“He looks like you,” she comments about the boy. He grins, and she wants nothing more than to slap him for not being able to see that she’s so obviously hurting, that her heart is breaking inside of her chest. That she selfishly wants him to say that he made a mistake, that he was in love with her, not Izzie. But her life wasn’t a trashy romance novel, and even if it was, Alex was never one to admit to his faults, his pride and ego too large to have it bruised in such a way.
She had always wondered what he had been up to after he had left. If he was okay. She’d imagined different futures for him, some including Izzie and the kids, some of them not. She’s even naively envisioned ones with her and the children they had always talked about having one day.
Somedays, when she was feeling worse for wear, she had wished that he was miserable —that he and Izzie weren’t together and as far as they went communication-wise was a phone call to see who had the kids that week; that he was as alone and bitter as she was.
But instead, here he was, Mr. Perfectly Fine. The man who had looked her in the eyes and told her he would never go away.
Here he was, Mr. Perfectly Fine. Married to the woman he had left her for, a shiny gold ring on his finger instead of neat, polished wood.
For the past two years she’d been picking up the pieces of herself that he had shattered and left behind, only just starting to put herself back together, and here he was, Mr. Perfectly Fine. While she was piecing together her shattered heart, he was picking up her, the woman he had left her for.
She had thought that he was different from the rest; different from everyone who had ever left her. But he wasn’t —the man she had thought was so different was so exactly the same as everyone else.
“I’m sorry, Jo.” he says, and she has the urge to laugh —laugh because he wasn’t sorry, she could tell. He was sorry that he left her and caused her pain, sure. But he wasn’t sorry that he had done it, that he had married Izzie again and lived with her and his kids on a farm in the middle of Kansas. He wasn’t sorry about that at all.
Mr. Insincere Apology so he didn’t look like the bad guy.
She acts as if she believes him, giving him another tight smile, and lies through her teeth once more. “It’s fine Alex. It’s in the past.”
Jo checks phone, making a face when she ‘realizes’ the time, eager to get out of there as soon as she could. “I need to go, early morning,” she fibs, and she internally rolls her eyes at how he believes her. While he seemed to have forgotten everything about her, she still remembers every detail about him.
“It was nice seeing you again Jo,” he’s playing with the sleeves of his jacket and his eyes meet hers, and for less than a second it’s almost enough to break her resolve.
Another tight smile graces her lips, and she begins to walk away when her body fights her mind and she finds herself leaning down, her lips against his ear.
“I’m glad it was worth it, Alex.”
Her voice is harsh and bitter, yet broken, and she doesn’t need to look at him to know that his face has fallen, and he’s realized that everything she’d told him that night was a lie. She turns and lets the tears fall silently, making her way back up to her room with a head full of thoughts about her ex-husband, about Alex Karev.
About Mr. Perfectly Fine.

For Marina
“Is that blood?” “Yes but that doesn’t matter right now, what does matter is-” “You are literally bleeding.” - Marina
"Good news is that the baby is absolutely fine, and was not affected by the crash. Your baby is going to be ok," the doctor reassured Carina after examining her. "You should take it easy for the next few days though."
Carina squeezed Maya's hand who was standing beside her, still in her turnouts having rushed to Grey Sloan as soon as she found out that Carina had been in an accident on her way to work.
"Oh thank god, thank you," Maya said with a grateful smile towards the doctor.
"You're very welcome. I'm sure you two will be incredible parents, you seem like such a caring couple," the doctor replied with a genuine smile.
Maya and Carina shared a loving smile as they heard this, thankful that everything was going to be alright. Maya wrapped Carina in her arms from her hospital bed to comfort the both of them.
As they separated from their embrace, Maya noticed a mark on Carina's shoulder underneath her hospital gown.
"Is that blood?" Maya asked, not having noticed it before.
Carina looked down at her arm and realised, "Yes but that doesn't matter right now, what does matter is-"
"You are literally bleeding," Maya stated as she noticed how fresh the cut looked. This caught the doctor's attention once more and she came to clean up the wound.
"I'll live," Carina laughed. "What's important is that our little angel is healthy."
"No, what's important is that both of you are healthy," Maya said.

11 general with Marina:)
"Did you know that you talk in your sleep?" - Marina
this one's short and simple! this is one of the last few dialogue prompts i have, then i have some other random requests which i'll start working on asap! :)
"Here you go," Carina said as she handed Maya a cup of coffee.
"Thank you," Maya said as Carina sat down across from her. She smiled to herself as she remembered what she had witnessed during the night, Carina talking in her sleep, half in Italian and half in English.
"What are you smiling like that about?" Carina asked, being the extremely observant person she was, even this early in the morning.
"Nothing," Maya said as she blushed and looked down to sip her coffee.
"Are you sure? You only have that giddy smile on your face when you're thinking about something that makes you happy," Carina smiled, making Maya give in and tell her.
"Did you know that you talk in your sleep?"
"What bambina?" Carina laughed, not expecting that from her wife.
"At a point last night you were probably dreaming and started talking in your sleep," Maya stated, trying not to show just how endearing she found this.
"I don't do that," Carina replied, this time blushing herself.
"You did last night," Maya winked, reaching across the table to hold her hands. "You kept talking about dogs actually. And it turned Italian at one point. I did hear my name once or twice though."
"Oh really? I must've been having a nice dream then," Carina smiled at her wife.

Tremmett & “Lie to me. I don’t care what you say, just lie to me. Make me feel okay again.”
“Lie to me. I don’t care what you say, just lie to me. Make me feel okay again.” - Tremmett
i feel like i need to apologise in advance for this one 😬😂
Emmett's heart sunk into his chest as Travis' doctor left the hospital room, leaving the pair alone. Emmett hadn't let go of Travis' hand from the moment he'd arrived.
The two sat in silence for a few minutes until Travis turned to look at Emmett sadly.
"That sounded like there's pretty much no hope that I'll recover from this, right?"
For the first time in a long time, Emmett found himself lost for words. He didn't know what he could possibly say to make Travis, or even himself believe that things were going to get any better following the news they had just received. They had been fighting this illness since the moment Travis was diagnosed with his illness, and hadn't given up hope. At least, not until now.
Travis made eye contact with Emmett, giving him a weak look which broke Emmett's heart further. "What if I don't make it?"
Emmett tried to be strong for Travis, as he had been throughout the past few weeks, but couldn't. He let a few silent tears fall and looked away to hide his tears for Travis' sake. "I-I don't know what to say. I don't know if there's anything I can say to make any of this better," he admitted, knowing they needed to come to some sort of acceptance of the news.
"I need you to give me a reason to keep fighting. Convince me that it's going to be okay. Lie to me. I don't care what you say, just lie to me. Make me feel okay again," Travis said, knowing the only way he would survive the low odds that were given to him was if they were in this together.
Emmett took a deep breath and turned back to face his boyfriend, holding both of his hands tightly.
"Ok. We're going to keep fighting this together, one step at a time. I need you to keep fighting for us, for me, and for yourself. You're going to be ok, everything will be ok. You will get better, I promise. And I don't need to lie to you when I say that I'll be by your side the entire time."
Emmett spoke with so much certainty that Travis almost believed his words. He knew Emmett was using every last inch of strength he had to try to comfort him, and knew he was hurting just as much on the inside. Travis nodded, and they sat together in silence, hand in hand as they let themselves just feel the sadness of that moment.

"Make a wish" 32 Fluff Marina
"Make a wish" - Marina
"Could this day get any worse?" Maya groaned as she read Andy's message to let her know that all Lieutenants were getting called in for a meeting later that night.
Maya showed Carina the message and she felt bad for her wife, knowing that on Maya's one day off bad things kept happening, one after the other.
"Come outside with me for a second," Carina told her, trying to think of a way to cheer her up, even if it was just temporarily.
"Why? It's been raining outside all day," Maya complained.
"Just trust me," Carina replied, giving her a smile.
Carina led Maya outside and they sat together on a small bench. "Look," Carina said as she motioned to the bright rainbow in the sky. "Make a wish."
"What?" Maya laughed.
"My mother used to tell Andrea and I to make a wish everytime we saw a rainbow. No matter how silly it felt at the time she would always manage to make us smile," Carina shared with a sentimental smile. It was rare that she could speak of her mother without breaking down, but sharing something so special about her with the woman she loved made her feel her mother's presence.
"That's so sweet," Maya smiled, squeezing Carina's hands to comfort her. "She was right, this did make me smile."
"Did you make your wish then?" Carina asked, winking at her wife.
"I just did," Maya replied. "Tell me what you wished for if I tell you mine?"
"Never! That's not how it works," Carina laughed. Maya laughed as well and rested her head on Carina's shoulder.

"Stay" - Tremmett
i guess this is both angsty/fluff, hope you still like it!
Emmett ran over from the living room as he heard a huge bang coming from the kitchen. He entered to see two pans on the floor and some opened packets of food on the counter.
"Dammit," Travis shouted in frustration as he bent over to pick up the pans, seeming awfully on edge and on the verge of breaking down as he slammed his hand on the counter, not noticing Emmett standing in the doorway.
"Hey, hey babe it's ok," Emmett said as he rushed over and rubbed his back to comfort him, which made Travis flinch slightly as he hadn't noticed his boyfriend next to him.
The sight of Travis so worked up made Emmett extremely concerned and he stepped back, unsure what to do.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you shouldn't have to see me like this," Travis said, still focused on the mess in front of him.
"No, it's fine. Let me just help you with these, okay?" Emmett asked, gesturing towards the many pans that Travis had taken out of the drawer, putting them all back in their place.
"I'm fine, I don't need help!" Travis snapped, not directing his anger towards Emmett but still getting worked up enough to make Emmett upset.
"Ok, do you want me to give you some space?" Emmett asked warily. Jack had messaged him to warn him that they had a shift from hell, with multiple casualties and victims they couldn't save, however he didn't realise the extent of how bad it was until just now, seeing how it was affecting his boyfriend.
Travis looked at Emmett's expression and made eye contact with him for the first time since he had entered the room. He immediately felt guilty for snapping at him.
"No, no. Stay, please," Travis said. His voice cracked saying these last few words, and he broke down, unable to stop himself from letting out a few tears and feeling his legs starting to weaken beneath him. Emmett went over and wrapped him in a tight hug, knowing that Travis just needed to let out all his emotions.
Travis gave in and sunk into Emmett's embrace, letting go of the anger and frustration he felt moments ago. Travis was usually the more stable one of the pair, however in this moment Travis felt so small in Emmett's arms and all Emmett wanted to do was relieve him of some of his pain.
"Do you want to order takeout? Don't worry, we'll clean this all up later," Emmett suggested, knowing either one of them cooking was probably not the best choice that night, still keeping his arms around Travis.
Travis nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. I'm sorry I took it out on you, I'm just so angry at the world that so many families got destroyed today in just a few seconds."
"It's ok, I'm here," Emmett reassured him, knowing that Travis' short outburst wasn't anything personal. He led him over to the sofa and they sat in a comfortable silence, and Travis knew that if he wanted to talk about it, Emmett would listen to every word.

Hey, could you write 12 fluff with Marina?
“Could you say that again?” “Were you not listening?” “No I was, I just like hearing your voice.” - Marina
"... I was literally about to cry myself watching her mamma burst into tears of happiness as she held her newborn baby," Carina finished telling her story about a patient of hers.
Carina looked down at Maya who was lying on the bed, listening to Carina telling her about her day. Carina was propped up on her elbows and noticed Maya looking at her with admiration all over her face.
"Are you alright bambina?" Carina asked with a smile.
"Could you say that again?" Maya replied, in a relaxed state on the bed.
"Were you not listening?" Carina raised an eyebrow confusedly.
"No I was, I just like hearing your voice. Especially when you're talking about something you're so passionate about, and when you speak in Italian," Maya said.
Carina grinned, saying "When did you get so soft?"
"Around the time I married a gorgeous Italian woman," Maya replied, leaning forward to kiss her wife.
"Oh really? Then how about I tell you something else in Italian, but this time not about work?" she said with a flirtatious smile, leaning over Maya to kiss her more, who knew exactly what she meant by that.
