Can we talk about protective Anthony because I think it goes underrated. I feel like he's quite protective and defensive of Ian and it shows in a very natural way he doesn't attempt to hide it.

I don’t know if it goes underrated but i did enjoy seeing how the tune definitely changed in this new era! I think 2016 Anthony was very much aware of who he was "supposed" to be. At least that's what I've gathered. If you are hetero no touch with bros! Now 2023 Anthony is willing to support and say out loud what he thinks about Ian. How funny he is, how good he is in writing, how much now he leans on Ian to take care of the pre productions of sketches. Just like Courtney said "Anthony is a compliment machine" and i think part of it stems from something that he said to Ian during the reading of the journal "I though that giving you compliment meant that i was bad at something so i withheld acknowledgment and compliment" and it goes back to my previous point between 2016-2023 Anthony: he grew up. He learned that being more open doesn’t mean anything else except being open, it means validating what people you love have done for you and that you appreciate that. The man worked on himself and continously does so!

Also solid mention to the who meme it episode: "THAT'S NOT FAIR TO IAN, HE CARRIED THIS COMPANY FOR SIX YEARS" tell them my man!

Honestly, I believe that smosh games and Smoshcast is currently in its golden era, flipping awesome sauce over there

I will say though after the end of EIOYI I feel Smosh Pit has been struggling to find a good show to replace it, with the random food tier lists and shit, culinary crimes is solid and super interesting but the numbers are random as hell, for example the sparasha episode actually did well (FUCK YEAH!) but the Ianthony and Amangela one didn’t for some weird ass reason 💀 either way it’s super solid but I wouldn’t say it’s in its golden era yet 🤷‍♀️

As for Smosh main… uhhhhhhhhhh yeah no 💀 submissive & breedable was a certified banger and the sketches before it were cool beans and golden (mostly) but since then the channel has flopped a bit in views n shit, I will say I do like Anthony incorporating his interviewing talent into smosh though

Depends where we put the live show too coz that shit is most DEFINETLY golden era peak dude that shit looks epic as fuck and likely to be my favourite one ever

But no I’ve only got a few side blogs in general and rarely actually make them, I’ve said this before but Smosh really did grab me by the neck and into the fandom

I although I do wish I was (I know for a fact I would’ve eaten up Smosh summer games when I was younger) I only learned about Smosh when Anthony returned since I only knew him from his solo content

I started watching Smosh after Anthony’s return so all I know is new Smosh and every time I watch old Smosh, it feels like a different universe or that it happened years before it actually did. But with Anthony and Ian’s relationship being in strongest it is, all the new cast they have, and how high the production value, I do prefer new Smosh.
